EAMON MARTIN SAYS HE AND RCs ARE NOW PERSECUTED IN IRELAND !!!

image5.jpeg

LAST WEDNESDAY EVENING IN ARMAGH CATHEDRAL THE ARCHBISHOP – EAMON MARTIN SAID THAT HE AND RCs ARE BEING PERSECUTED IN IRELAND FOR THEIR FAITH AND WILL BE PERSECUTED MORE IN THE FUTURE !!!

He cited Ireland’s new secularism and materialism and the recent Irish votes for equal marriage and abortion.

I’m afraid that Amy has no grasp of history.

Ireland was colonised by two foreign forces – the British Empire and the Roman Catholic Church.

The Brits came in the 12th century under the leadership of Strongbow – and at the request of an Irish king who was fighting with he fellow kings and chieftains.

But the Romans – I mean the Roman Catholics – were hear hundreds of years before the Brits.

The Brits stole our lands and our language.

The RCs stole our hearts and our souls.

We have gotten rid of the Brits from the 26 counties.

And modern Ireland is in the process of getting rid of the RCs – and people like Eamon Martin.

The drop in Mass attendance and the very powerful recent referenda in which the Irish People said a massive NO to the RC institution, its teachings and its dogmas – is a clear sign that the RCs have been served their P45 by the Irish people.

When the Brits left the bishops and clergy became the new overlords. London rule was swapped for Roman Rule.

And the unionists in the North were right when they said: “Home Rule means Rome Rule”.

From 1922 the Irish Catholic Hierarchy had most Irish politicians under their thumb – with the honourable exception people like Dr Noel Brown – whose ministerial career was brought to and end by Archbishop John Charles McQuaid of Dublin.

The then Taoiseach said: “I am a Catholic first and a politician second”.

The Bishop of Cork – Dr Lucey said: “Even in political matters the Bishops are the final arbiters”.

They even played a major part in writing the Irish 1937 Constitution – which the Irish people are changing election by election, referendum by referendum.

Millions and millions of Irish people lived and died believing they were going to Hell for one act of masturbation, for having sex outside marriage, for being gay, for marrying Protestants etc.,

They imprisoned our unmarried mothers in Roman Catholic gulags.

They incarcerated our children in their homes and orphanages, where they starved, beat and raped them.

mkQBzXfh

They banished public sinners and religious dissidents to Evil England.

They controlled hospitals, maternity clinics, labour wards, schools, colleges, universities etc.,

They stole babies and sold them to good Catholics in the USA and Australia.

They tortured and starved little babies and buried in septic tanks.

Priests roamed the roads beating courting couples with blackthorn sticks.

Eamon, you a descendent of the moral and physical persecutors of the Irish people.

Eamon, you are the successor – not of the Apostles – but of the abusers.

And after 1600 years of Roman Catholic invasion and torture the Irish people are calling time on you.

If you are persecuted – and I don’t wish persecution on you – it is Karma – and what has gone around has come back around.

thumbnail_20181201_185115

Get used to being an organisation like a golf club – a private members club with no influence.

Your glory days are over.

And as the Chinese say:

You, Eamon, are accursed to be living in interesting times!

    1. Reading this blog this morning, I am reminded of the Biblical verse, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. It is something for us all to remember as we enter Advent and prepare to celebrate the coming of our saviour.

Debate is very important; for instance on the words of the Pope who is reported this morning criticising homosexuality for being “fashionable” which makes it sound as if people are choosing to be of a minority sexual identity to be “cool”. I’d like to read more carefully what is said. It would be good, however, to see a debate which is careful, clear and respectful on all sides.

Surely listening is important for all of us if we are to grow in knowledge, empathy and understanding? I suspect I shall be criticised for saying what I have said, but the person who shouts the loudest or most vehemently is not necessarily right.

      1. 10.22: You are right. Respectful debate, intelligent arguments and tolerant acceptance of different opinions will ensure balance and justice. Sadly, Pat is not capable of anything other than simple, dismissive soundbytes. You will quite likely be called an “enabler”, a “co-abuser”. Stand by your integrity, conscience and intellectual capacity – as I will do – and pray that Pat will be a more tolerant listener and show some respect for others. We need to know the truth always, but ridiculing, name calling of others, innuendo, dismissive judgments and nasty behaviour is not the way to do this.

Did you say anything, publicly (and under your own name), when Bishop Noel Treanor (Ireland’s own ‘Bishop of Bling’) alledgedly spent £4 million (perhaps more) rennovating/refurbishing his home, offices, and grounds (including purchasing wallpaper at £100 a roll and door handles at £250 each)?

In fact I’m barely a Christian, since I stopped going to Mass regularly uncomfortable about the abuse and no longer able to look my priest in the eye after he was investigated for sexual abuse. I no longer contribute financially to the Church and only attend Mass occasionally when I have to because of my work. As a survivor of familial sexual abuse who can feel filthy hands still groping around my penis and anus when I was 9 , that’s what I do to show my anger. I hope you feel proud of your attack against me and the way you have judged me. I just prefer balance and reasoned argument without abusive unkindness. 5. 11:57, for misassuming you as a Roman Catholic priest, I do indeed apologise, since there isn’t, nowadays, an insult more damning than being associated with such a pack of irreformable moral and sexual degenerates as Roman Catholic priests. Satan himself must blush at their excesses.
As for your ‘hope’ of ending corruption in the institutional Church by being nice (‘respectful’) about it, why don’t you grow up? These parasites do NOT want to change. Any change that has occurred has been brought about, not by pricked clerical consciences, but by the shame of exposure in the media and by the threat of severe financial loss in reparation. Being nice to these bastardos just won’t cut the mustard, I’m afraid: they need to be hammered (metaphorically speaking, of course) into submission.
As for sexual abuse, I can beat you on that one: I was just six years old when that much bigger boy detained me in a barley field, landed me on my back, took out his member and… ( I assume such an intelligent fellow as you has sufficient imagination to join the dots here. 😆)

  21. 3.26 Pat, we cannot keep talking only about a person’s faults no matter how terrible. It’s a recipe for war not peace. Remember Jesus was scathing of the Pharisees, yet he still told us to obey what they say but don’t imitate what they do. We must keep the balance as he did.

Polly your language is appalling, to use these words in the same sentence with the Holy Name tells us what I’ve always known, you are not a Christian. You’re from the Black North, aren’t you?

  23. 2.09 Magna, you often suggest that posters engage with the discussion rather than just smart comments. In the gospel, Jesus said, do what they tell you but do not do what they do. Who was he refering to? Straight question.
