COLOURFUL REDEMPTORIST TO BECOME DUBLIN PP?

FATHER ADRIAN EGAN, FORMERLY OF CLONARD REDEMPTORIST MONASTERY BELFAST IS, ACCORDING TO ONE OF HIS PRIESTLY COLLEAGUES, SET TO BECOME THE PP OF BALLYFERMOT, DUBLIN IF ARCHBISHOP DIARMUID ACCEPTS HIS NOMINATION.

In spite of the above pic, Adrian, is very busy on facebook and puts a lot of SELFIES on his FB page.

I’m not sure why a priest monk would publish a selfie of himself with a urinal?

Maybe he was just “pissed off” that night?

And why was he wearing that opera gear?

Below are a number of his favourite FB images and selfies:

And – of course we could not finish today’s piece about a colourful Redemptorist without showing you all, once again, Adrian’s college Fr Gerry O Connor leading the congregation wearing his rainbow hat.

St Alphonsus Ligouri, pray for your sons – and daughters.

Egan should be dismissed from the priesthood for those remarks on abortion.
He is not a true priest of Jesus. He is preaching HIMSELF. He is promoting and serving HIMSELF.
And there is absolutely NOTHING appealing whatsoever in his disgusting and reprobate “self”.
The utter buffoonery of his carryon wearing that jester’s hat. How apt! He is the antithesis of true priesthood.
Men like him are worse and do far more spiritual harm than even the most vitriolic antiCatholics.
He should be sent packing – not made PP of Ballyfermot. God help those parishioners with this viper sent into their midst.
What’s the difference between Egan and that other apostate “Redemptorist” Tony Flannery? NONE! Egan is an evil man and a “priest” straight out from the stable of Judas Iscariot.
Lord, deliver your Church from the plague of deadly and cunning serpents such as this creature Egan and his ilk.

Do you think Deacon Byrne will be ordained? He was ordained in 2016 and it is now 2019. To my knowledge he has not been ordained or lacised. The Archbishop NEEDS to make a decision. Enough time has passed now. I personally would like to see him be ordained. These years must have been difficult, challenging and formative for him. What do you think?

No doubt you want Byrne ordained because you are every bit as degenerate as he is, “Fr John”.

He should NEVER be ordained. Both you and he are evil.

You are serpents and, if you do not repent, you will be in that deep pit in Hell reserved for false priests.

God have mercy on your soul, and that of Mr Byrne, and that scoundrel of an excuse for a redemptorist, Adrian Egan.

That it is so necessary is demonstrated whenever some cover up merchant claims we are “obsessed” or pleads for some dodgy cleric to be left alone until it all blows over. These are not private individuals targeted for being gay or whatever, but men abusing their position to live a lie at the expense of the faithful aka suckers. Whether or not Michael Byrne is now fit for ministry is a fair question which cannot be addressed if we pretend that there are not “issues”. Meanwhile back in poor benighted England, we’re still asking for answers concerning Fr Daniel Seward, who was never hesitant about coming down hard on those who didn’t conform to his Burkean fantasy of the Church. So what’s he been up to? Just asking, that’s all.

Why don’t people like Egan realise that we are not really interested in his antics. It all self promotion. Look at me stuff !

As for Seward, I’ve said before, it would make sense for the Cong Orats to get the dirt on him out in the open and dealt with rather than letting it fester, which will spoil their WankFest over Newman’s canonisation. I guarantee that when Newman’s party hits the popular press, they will start to look at Seward and it will overshadow anything about Newman. Doing the ostrich trick, which is what seems to be happening, will come back to bite them in the arse. But they are so far up their own backsides with their arrogance and certainty, that they simply will not listen.

Seward and his kind need to be humbled. They consistently lay burdens upon the weak, the poor, the marginalised. Didn’t Jesus has something to say about that ?

      1. Well, I think the situation in Brum concerned a fairly harmless old queen who got sentimental over a younger man. Something possibly which might have attracted the sympathy of the then reigning Pontiff – if you see what I mean! What was extraordinary and which has never been explained was the exclaustration of other members of the community, the “Birmingham Three”, who had raised concerns and who have never been heard of since – should we dredge the canals? So what the hell that was all about, search me, but the queen is still happily in residence, and it gave the ex Provost of the London Oratory an excuse to escape the even more toxic atmosphere there and seek sanctuary in dear old Brum. So lots of cover ups in the so called kind and gentle families of St Philip – most of whom unsurprisingly are ex Anglicans of the unmarried kind. No idea why Daniel Seward suddenly disappeared from Oxford, but, given his high profile and, as somebody else posted, his past fondness for taking a hard line towards those, say, who have dared to divorce and remarry, or might even, dare I say it? be attracted to their own sex, I for one am buggered if I am going to put up with their bull-shit and let this go. Glass houses and all that!

    1. More importantly, how come the people of Armagh diocese just have this man, good though he may be, foisted upon them, parachuted in, without any reference to them ? The appointment of bishops business in the Church is ridiculous, done in the dark by men (and only men) appointing cut out cardboard copies of themselves, without any reference in any form to the people who pay for them and will pay for the new bishop, and who is supposed to be their servant. It’s crazy. It’s unsustainable. And the track record is not great, looking at the calibre of bishops that are about. There surely has to be another and better way.
One of the problems in the Church is the inability to think outside the box. For example, what to do about clericalism. Current leaders in the Church, because they all are cut from the same cloth, and are part of a self-perpetuating old boys’ club, simply can’t come up with new and innovative ideas about how the Church should develop. So, it is always more of the same. That in part has to do with the way that appointments are made. So, why not involve the people of God and give them a say ? Then we might come up with the leaders we need for the time we are in. We need holy leaders, inspiring leaders, humble leaders, and yes, we need men and women of every hue and background and diversity. Rather than grey, advanced aged, set in their ways, puppets of a self-perpetuating incestuous system.

      1. I agree with you that it’s ludicrous that a priest living miles and miles from a diocese, who has never served in it and without any connection with it can be parachuted in as an auxiliary bishop. The message is that no Armagh priests were up to the mark.

Reading the blog yesterday someone hit the nail on the head – what does a Cavan man know about the social, political, economic and cultural intricacies of the North? Can I also pose a question? Why is Eamon Martin not attending Confirmations for all his parishes – he is sending Sweeney and Donaghy. McKeown in Derry doing the same. I have written to Sarah in Rome about this abuse of not bothering their ass. Sarah has said if the bishop is not available then a fellow bishop should be asked to step in. In Ireland become a Monsignor and you can do Confirmations. A Canon is more senior to a Monsignor, not everyone knows that. The Irish are a sucker for a title. Sorry !!
