NICHOLS EVIDENCE PARTS 2 AND 3

20190602_1406358740942011905175908.jpg

HERE ARE PARTS 2 AND 3 OF THE EVIDENCE NICHOLS GAVE TO THE INQUIRY ABOUT THE TIME WHEN HE WAS ARCHBISHOP OF BIRMINGHAM.

I realise it is two hours of watching.

But its worth it,

Up to now geezers like Nichols have not been held accountable by the civil authorities.

Now they are!

And they do not like it one bit.

The church will not police itself properly. So therefore the state has to step in.

The children these priests and religious sexually abused are also citizens in their countries and their governments are obliged to protect them from all abusers – even priest abusers.

These governments also need to keep the hierarchy under surveillance to make sure that they do not hide abusers and over up for them.

How glad I am to have lived to see the day when these geezers are brought before civil tribunals to be challenged.

When Cahal Daly sacked me I brought him before the Belfast High Court.

I did not win but I made Daly sit as a defendant for 5 days.

When the case was over, and everyone heard how the church works a man approached Daly and said to him in front of the whole court:

“Mister Daly, I’m a Protestant and after listening to this case all week I’m very grateful for the Reformers”.

Daly flushed red and rushed away.

***RTE news tonight***
Diarmuid Martin wants his priests to “stand up to gangland violence” yet, he can’t even stand up you Buckley and hiw blog. What a COWARD that man is!
“Do as I say, not as I do” – Dermot Martin, I mean Diarmuid.
He MUST retire to Rome so that he can live happily ever after with his protégé (protogay) Tighe.

11.45: If you are a “priest” your grammar needs much correction. Apart from that, your comment is ignorant. Gangland criminals and their cohorts should not be ever allowed to dramatize or overplay their public grief. They couldn’t care less about the destruction of life they leave in many communities. These criminals – indeed all criminals should be given a private funeral. And tell me what you mean by coward? Did you get demoted or are you just a cynical, lazy, disgruntled individual?

Like

He is a coward because he does not stand up for his priests. He has let many of them down. He wants priests to stand up to criminals but when his priests come looking for help from him HE won’t be there for them.
He is releasing soundbites which sound good in the media but they have no real substance behind them.
It is not cynicism when it is the truth.

Unfortunately Dermot came across as a frustrated old man. No doubt mirroring the crew he has gathered around him. So criminals should be buried privately? You must be using a particularly narrow definition of the word criminal.

F**k! What a quip! ‘Mister Daly, I’m a Protestant, and after listening to this case all week, I’m grateful for the Reformers.’
Priceless!😅
Oh God! How I wish I had been present there to witness the expression on Daly’s prissy, tightened face.
Thank you, Lord, for these moments of episcopal debasement.👍😅😅

More on Father Francis McDermott -Bishop Doyle was very supportive of Father Francis McDermott even speaking with him , and providing support for him . He only did the the take no prisoner act the day he was found guilty because he made a mess in his pants that the Diocese would be taken to court for moving him after complaints had been made , or allowing him to stay in ministry after a complaint . I think you will find in his early years of Priesthood after ordination a complaint was made in the first instance , and he was simply moved to High Wycombe .When he was in ministry later in Aylesbury complaints were made again . He was allowed to stay in ministry as he was after being interviewed by police a number of times . The Diocese simply chose to listen to him , and not the victims .

Is it not concerning the Diocesans safe guarding team of
Northampton Diocese was in constant contact with Father
Francis Mc Demott after he was arrested , and subsequently charged
with offences , and saw no issue with him continuing to live in

she was running music lessons from that home ? – A Priest of

From the web site of Northampton Diocese – List of Clergy ” McDermott, Francis (ret’d): c/o Bishop’s House. “- Why is it convicted sex offender Priests are still on the public clergy list of the Diocese of Northampton ?????????????

9.43. rr Have you nothing better to do? You mentioned this yesterday. He is still technically a Priest that’s why. His case is being finalised in Rome later this month and he will be removed after that. Stop making a mountain out of a molehill. He is in jail and rightly so.

Pat, I thought Dermot’s words and attitude towards the funerals of people caught up in gangland warfare were pathetic. What planet is he on. Did he not learn from the protests at his cathedral in the past that dialogue is much better than posturing and sound biting? Seems he didn’t.

Good idea to have a second day on Westminster as, after a slow burn, we are now getting somewhere. NB I refer to the priests as Father not out of any respect – it’s a by no means universal convention we should now drop – but because incredibly neither has been laicised.
1. Father Francis McDermott of Northampton who was shunted out of the Diocese 40 years ago after complaints which a succession of useless Bishops – including Doyle who is no better than the others – ignored. Yet they salaried him and paid all his legal expenses- or rather the usual suckers did.
2. Father Eugene Fitzpatrick was identified as a risk as a teenager himself, yet was admitted to the Westminster seminary at the height of its infamy under Mgr John Coughlan. His behaviour as a seminarian was inappropriate to say the least yet he was ordained by that old fool and Coughlan’s predecessor as Rector, Bishop James O’Brien, with the approval of Basil, whose judgment was highly questionable to say the least given the characters he surrounded himself with. No sooner was Fitzpatrick ordained than he was abusing. The Archdiocese knew all about his activities yet protected him and financed him for years. What a familiar story! The culture has not changed one iota.

It’s time to give this a rest John about Westminster and Northampton. We know you are bitter – we know who you are.

Like

No it is not time to give it a rest about Father Francis McDermott and Northampton Diocese – Are you worried that all the other things the Diocese of Northampton sit on concerning Mc Demott , and others will come out ????What is known is only the tip of the very large iceburg ! As for Nichols – Well that is an open secret amongst my Brother
Clergy in Westminster , and here about him and the Nun .I am shore they will enjoy a well earned retirement together when the time comes at the expense of the Diocese . Not that a property with many bedrooms will
be necessary -Even a one bedroom property would do them together ……

I have no particular loyalty to +Vincent, but I think it is rather far fetched to suggest an improper relationship between him and the nun. It is evidently close and affectionate, but more in the sense of good friends who support each other. So, please do be a bit careful about casting around suggestions like that. It’s not true, and it’s not fair.

Do not ever believe a word Nichols speaks !-
Even amongst the clergy of Westminster he has
a bad reputation of being somewhat lacking in the
truth even with what he tells them .

Update from Northampton !
Do not walk past Bishop’s house you will be knocked over by the steam
coming from it ! Doyle has hit the roof over this blog , and
has sent a less than friendly email round clergy threatening all sorts of
sanctions when he gets to the bottom of who is bringing things to your attention .
He is even threatening to call in ” suspects ” to ask what issues they have ?
The institution must be rattled , and in full swing to ” manage ” this situation . –

Well, His Lordship – and anybody else attempting to put the lid on things – should realize that safeguarding issues are classified as “protected disclosure”, so any attempts to silence, suppress or threaten “whistle-blowers” is unlawful, as their concerns should be aired and encouraged in the public interest. You’d think the bishops would have learnt this by now. Well done, that whistle-blower in Northampton!

Like

No such email was sent to clergy, you are a liar, troublemaker and mischief maker. You are a Westminster Cleric trying to deflect attention from yourself on this blog over the past few days. Anyone who knows +Peter Doyle will know for sure he is not a man to threaten anyone and the last person to issue sanctions without reason. He hasn’t called in anyone and it’s not his style. You are not a Northampton Priest but a Westminster gobshite trying to deflect attention from yourself.

Nice man though he is, how does + Doyle think he is going to find out who is posting on this blog ? Does he think he is Inspector Clouseau ? Really ! His best response is to maintain a dignified silence. Rise above it. If he has been imprudent in his dealing with McDermott, then he should just ‘fess up and face the music. I suspect that all is not as it seems in the allegations that he was careless in his dealing with this matter. He is a considered man, and remember, it was he and + Portsmouth who insisted that the allegation against + M-O’C should be properly investigated, in the face of opposition / reluctance of + Vincent. So, let us see what emerges. But, if it is true that he is fuming and threatening, then that is an ill considered and imprudent response. So, + Doyle, settle down and stay calm. The truth will out eventually, and if you have done nothing wrong, then that will out too. In the meantime, all speculation is just that, speculation.

Is that what Vincent’s press officer told you to say ?
Why did Vincent perviosuly forbid the Clergy to speek about his
relationship with the Nun to the press , or others ? Trying to earn a promotion by
defending the rotten institution at alL costs ? Pat is correct
” The truth will set you free even if it is revolting ! “

Just opened the blog. Don’t usually speak ill of the dead but I’ll make an exception in Cahal Daly’s case. A horrid prissy little man who cared not one bit for his flock but only for the reputation of the church. Must be a pre requisite for Down and Connor Bishops. His successor Walsh was a tyrant, a physical and emotional abuser. A pompous arrogant ass who only cared about the reputation of the church. Don’t believe me? Ask the PP of Corpus Christi, Fr P McCafferty what he was like. He tried everything to cover up that priests abuse at the hands of another cleric. Now who do we have. The reclusive bishop of bling, Noel Treanor. Yes indeed. Thank God for the reformation. It’s about time we had another one!
