PRIEST WHO SAID HE URINATED IN COMMUNION WINE, WAS ATTRACTED TO SATANISM, GETS 25 YEAR FOR CHILD PORN.

By Leonardo Blair ,Christian Post Reporter

The Rev. W. Thomas Faucher, a retired Idaho priest who once claimed to have urinated in communion wine at least once at his church, was sentenced Thursday to 25 years in prison without parole for what investigators said was the most disturbing child pornography case they had ever seen.

According to the Idaho Statesman, Faucher, 73, who pleaded guilty in September to five felony crimes stemming from amassing thousands of child porn images and videos on his home computer, will also have to register as a sex offender.

He apologized in the courtroom ahead of his sentencing at the Ada County Courthouse in Boise.

“I am deeply sorry that I was and have been connected to that in any way,” Faucher said while acknowledging that he now knows child porn is not a victimless crime. “I was one really sick puppy. I screwed up big time … I feel so much remorse and anger.”

Detective John Brumbaugh, who’s been on the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force for five years, testified Thursday that he received a cybertip about two images sent from wtfauch@aol.com that was linked to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church website.

Over several months, Brumbaugh said verified chats and emails showed Faucher was “actively seeking interests with gay men, satanic interests” as well as the rape and killing of minors.

The detective described the contents of the images police found on Faucher’s cellphone, computer and Dropbox account containing more than 2,500 files displaying child pornography described as violent, disturbing, torturous and included children crying.

“The volume of [images] was something I haven’t come across,” Brumbaugh said.

The disgraced priest also expressed a desire to have sex with boys, had “satanic desires,” an attraction to 6-year-old boys and expressed excitement at the “thought of killing someone” authorities said.

“The volume of [images] was something I haven’t come across,” Brumbaugh explained, noting that the case disturbed everyone who worked on it.

Brumbaugh said Faucher also had images of black slavery and discussed using racist language. Images of Faucher urinating on a cross and canon law book were also found.
Bishop Peter F. Christensen and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Boise said in a press statement that the shocking discovery of the evil Faucher harbored has forced them to start the process of defrocking him.

“The volumes of shocking information that the law enforcement investigation uncovered reveal the heinous nature of child pornography and the tragic impact upon its victims. While we cannot begin to fathom what brought Faucher to the point that he was able to enter into this evil and dark world, we are thankful for the efforts of the law enforcement community in doing what it can to protect our children from these crimes,” the diocese said. “Since his actions came to light in February, Faucher has been unable, and continues to be unable, to function as a priest in the Catholic Church.”

Christensen, said now that the criminal case is over, the church has started the process of turning the case over to authorities in Rome.
“We have already begun our preparations to turn this case over to Church authorities in Rome,” Christensen said. “Our response should send a clear message that we will not tolerate these sorts of behaviors from anyone who holds a leadership position in our diocese.”

PAT SAYS

This case is shocking in the extreme.

A priest involved in Satanic worship, gay sex, wanted to have sex with and kill little boys and downloading violent child porn.

AND urinating in the chalice before Mass AND urinating on a cross.

Is this man sick or evil, or both?

He deserves 25 years without parole.

He is a danger to the community and to children.

This case is rare but not the only of it’s kind.

A priest once told me about Satanic Masses in the Vatican with chalice containing blood, semen and urine.

It an extreme example of how bad things are in the Church of Rome.

The pervert is not sick, Bishop P. ; he is evil.
One has to ask: why are such men attracted to Roman Catholic priesthood? It makes absolutely no sense, unless it is accepted that there is something intrinsically evil in the nature of the Romanist priesthood that they see, and to which they are attracted. It cannot, logically, be Christ to whom they are drawn.
I believe that there is evil in this priesthood. I believe that this priesthood is anti-Christ by its theological exaltation of priests over Christ.
Personally, had I an infinitely burning cigarette, I should burn off the Body of Christ every single one of these priest-leeches.
Imagine the freedom.
Imagine how much healthier this body would be without these evil bloodsuckers, draining the vitality and life from the Church.
Oh! And chief among these leeches is the grinning Latino, the Stan Laurel lookalike of the Church. This leech very recently issued a letter to his fellow leeches to encourage the poor dears amid all the sex-abuse allegations; he was concerned that they might want to give up.😢
WOULD THAT THEY HAD!😠
The chief leech uttered not one word (not a sausage) about how children might be protected from the very leeches, including himself, he was oh-so concerned about.😕

Perhaps, being a priest, the demons attacked him even more. In time they controlled him. But it takes nothing away from those men genuinely trying to live a pure and holy life as priests. But all clergymen should read this priest’s life story. But for the grace of God…

I agree with your first sentence he is truly evil. I do not agree with the rest of your rant, you were yourself attracted to The Sacred Priesthood but thanks be to God you never made it. Hence we are used to your constant diatribes, which stems from your jealousy and bitterness and no doubt your problem with the gargle. Your constant insults to members of the clergy and Hierarchy not to mention the Sovereign Pontiff makes you sound quite PSYCHOTIC!

Magna, this is a serious question. I was formerly a novice in a religious order and left because I have never been surrounded by such depravity, deceit and deviance in my life. Do you, like me, feel glad that you have escaped from the moral cesspit which is RC religious/clerical life?

The punishment given to Fr. Vaucher is clear and deserved. The descriptions of his actions in re: possible rape and abuse of minors is horrific, his possession of so much child pornography and the desecration of Holy Communion is sickening. All his actions prove him to be a very perverted and sick man. For the remainder of his life he will ponder the gravity of his behaviour and realise that he profaned all things sacred: children, young teens, parents, guardians, his colleagues, his parishioners. I hope all his victims will be listened to, believed and given all the support necessary they need now.

Like

Frankly Anon @ 7:16 I do not believe he will “ponder the gravity of his behaviour.”
I suspect his regret will be more directed towards his exposure than his actions.

Why wasnt he completely defrocked ? State took action faster than the church itself. Why its taking ages re RCC to tackle this? The more State legal actions the more they will take on the RCC which would led to RICO investigation. Is there a possibility of that happening in Ireland re satanic actions carried out by some priest????

Dear Deaf lad,
There’s a simple answer to your question: in many cases the church’s procedure waits until the civil process has been completed. Is this a good idea? Probably not. But it’s easy to see why: the civil verdict is likely to influence the ecclesiastical one.

When I read this kind of thing it further strengthens a belief I posted on this blog before at greater length, with little challenge or evidence to the contrary. I cannot “prove” such belief, but am at a loss to explain otherwise.
It is my belief that a proportion of RC clergy, having initially entered seminary from a mixture of youthful altruism, idealism, and childhood religious influence, at various stages post ordination, “set aside” many core beliefs concerning the RCC’s central role, significance and validity. Even despite this, many retain principles of integrity vis a vis their dealings with people, and for a variety of reasons mainly linked to lack of alternatives, they continue in a quasi “community worker” pastoral role maintaining external clerical status and activity.
But I think a number, for a variety of reasons perhaps associated with unreasonable celibacy demands, their inherent personality defects, and, significantly, a loss of faith in their former central belief in the existence of a personal God, while maintaining the benefits and advantages of a clerical role, they simply indulge themselves in abusive behaviour formerly suppressed and constrained by now abandoned restrictive beliefs.
The big question is “How many?” What proportion of RC clergy are leading a truly “priestly life” or are just going through the motions?

But so is so much of the society and culture that he comes out of.

And your evidence for such a shocking claim against his ‘culture’ is a Trumpian population that likes to hunt, shoot, and fish (with the ‘odd spot of incest’ for good measure)??

What a vile human being this man is, his mind is perverse and his soul corrupt, he deserves the full rigor of the law. It’s impossible at this remove to begin to know how he arrived at this abysmal point in his sorry life. Presumably he set out with some idealism and sense of vocation but sadly he obviously didn’t pray or truly commit himself to the Lord in any sense. The free availability of horrendous material on the internet is fuel to the corruption of mind and soul, and sadly is a path that even good people can be dragged down. It all points to the need for priests who are truly men of prayer and commitment who will give witness by their words and actions.
When I read Magna’s usual vitriol on the church I am delighted that the Holy Spirit intervened to keep such a poisoned heart out of ministry.

And why do you think the Church gets the clergy it deserves? Because its theology of priesthood is corrupt and attracts those corrupted by worldly vanity.

I have never, ever, met a seminarian drawn to priesthood through the appeal of servitude, which is what Jesus instructed through his words and example.

Thanks for confirming my earlier post, even though it wasn’t your intention to do so.

Thaddeus: Can you clarify who, what, or where this ‘Holy Spirit’ is, without referring to ‘faith’, ‘mystery’ or reference to a ‘holy bible?’ How does he, she or it operate and what evidence is there for the Holy Spirit’s activities?
I ask bearing in mind what philosophers describe as the “Rightness of Majorities.” Let me explain.
Most of us get reassurance from following the majority belief, and peer pressure is often demonstrated as a major factor for beliefs to “follow the herd.” So while an individual who holds ridiculous beliefs may be regarded as crazy, should that same belief, especially if it is “religious”, become held by a great number of people, then it can gain historical credence and be reclassified to become part of mainstream religious acceptance. Could this be the case for this Holy Spirit?
Individuals who talk to dead spirits are seen as crazy. But when “everybody” believes in this “Holy Spirit”, does that legitimise and bring into creation this “Holy Spirit?”
Frankly I think it’s just more religious hogwash, but am open to being convinced otherwise.

I feel no need to defend the Holy Spirit to one with such jaundiced views. Try a prayer to the said Spirit. There’s a plenitude of material available which you can consult.

Okay Thaddeus. Fair comment, or might it be because you can’t?
If this Holy Spirit is as powerful as RC orthodoxy alleges then might it be possible that he, she or it might inspire somebody else to reply. After all it should be fairly easy for the Sky God Fairy to just cast a little spell on some informed believer to help me out here.
Had I not some understanding of the psychological processes influencing religious belief I’d find it simply laughable thinking of the farrago of hogwash promoted by the RC church and other religious organisations.
Let’s take this issue of the priest urinating in the communion wine. Described as “wine”, so presumably the event took place before the Mass “consecration.” If that was the case, what happened when he, the ‘ontologically differentiated” priest uttered the ‘magic words’ of the consecration? Did it remain as wine and p1$$?
And did this interference with the wine affect the wafer too, thereby preventing its ontological change also?
Really you couldn’t make it up!

I met some good priests and bad priests as well over the years. Mostly good priests are decent and down to earth except for some arrogant PP who control the parish etc.

I met one priest last year or two as i didnt feel anything re him just empty- no spirituality etc. Guess what when i found out few months ago that he was completely defrocked very fast than you think. Much faster and more decisive action taken than this priest mentioned in this page.

It was in Italy as he was an Italian priest. sex were used in exorcism that he carried out. He was stripped of priestly status and reverted to lay status. That was a decisive action taken by the Vatican.

There were some abusers priests that i met was Fr Fortune, Fr D Gallagher . But one Christian brother in ex alma mater school was lot worse than priests mentioned above than i though as he abused deaf kids over 40 years period without any action or just a slap in the wrist. He did it with sheer impunity and it was sickening when i found out last year or two when i met an elderly deaf victim. He told us the story which spanned over some 40 years. One interesting piece was that he joined the Christian brothers right after the Eucharistic congress 1932.

One question ; Where was God that time?

Deaf Lad at 12:18

You can’t blame Almighty God for the actions of evil human beings. The fact that he joined The Christian Brothers after the Eucharistic Congress makes his actions even worse. Believe me Almighty God will deal out a worse punishment than any civil or ecclesiastical court could, as a cleric so much more was expected of him. If he was abusing poor deaf children for 40 years instead of looking after them. He will burn for eternity in the fires of hell.

Didn’t they, more or less, say this of Jesus? That he was cooperating with the devil (Beelzebul)? (THEY were wrong, too, as I recall.)
Too many, too often, (especially clerics) are too keen to present ‘Father’s’ vile sins, not as they actually are (in many cases, serious and wilful crimes), but as ‘heroic’ failures by him to overcome gargantuan demonic pressure, and only after prolonged and stoic struggle against it. Yes, ‘Father’ is truly a fallen spiritual gladiator. It is a way of euphemizing what these men do (and, of course, of garnering understanding and sympathy for them.) Some here have actually, and nauseously, minimized these sins and crimes as, er, ‘mistakes’.😕
It’s part of Roman Catholic culture, isn’t it? (And an extension of the Constantinian conceit, ‘privilege of clergy’, whereby clerics were seen as special among men and, therefore, deserving of more lenient treatment than your average Joe Soap lay Catholic. It must have given ‘Father’ a very pleasant sense of his own ontological superiority, and worked miracles on his already inflated sense of self-importance. All very agreeable indeed.)
It is, I believe, from where grew the superstitous nonsense that the demons flock to these men in order to bring them down and so undermine the faith of hapless and helpless (not to mention, ‘utterly gormless’) lay Catholics. Fr John Corapi used to indulge his priestly self-pride by referring to this as spiritual warfare in which massed evil went after the ‘officers’ (priests, of course) to leave the rest leadership and clueless. Absolute self-pandering clericalist garbage, of course.
Time to own your sins, priests. They are yours alone.
The demons are innocent.😆

Priests being ‘blamed’ for crimes they did not commit, says Pope:

https://www.thetablet.co.uk/news/11947/priests-being-blamed-for-crimes-they-did-not-commit-says-pope

Well, I think the evil man who is subject of today’s blog did commit his crimes. As did many others. And, yes, other priests will get tarred with the same brush.

But…..let us remember that in some way all priests are complicit in these crimes. They are part of the priestly culture and hierarchy that has facilitated these evil men and their crimes by being quietly complicity, by coverup, by lies, by deception, by neglecting their duty to the most vulnerable…..all in the interests of protecting the Church and the priesthood.

So, if any priest wants to exempt himself from being tarred with the same brush, then let him speak out, let him challenge the way the priesthood is currently conceived and lived, let him challenge the Church on accepted traditions and teaching that clearly create an environment and culture that lead priests in to dysfunction.

But, I don’t hear many of them doing so, do you ?

No, by and large, they keep quiet, they are quiescent, loyal, browbeaten, scared to say what they think and to speak out and to challenge openly and honestly.

Why ? Because they don’t want to fall foul of the medieval feudal relationship they are in with the Church and their bishop, and to lose all that they have – home, stipend, job, status etc. God forbid that they could suffer diminishment of their comfortable lives !

So, they keep quiet.

Therefore they deserve to be tarred with the same brush, I say. Serves them right. Cowards.

If they are living the life they are meant to live (obedience to the institutional Church through that idolatrous episcopal vow), then they won’t, or can’t, truly be good.

(Just pointin’ out, like.😕)

It has been pointed out on this blog numerous times:
a) Obedience in this instance is not a vow. It’s a promise.
b) Obedience is an biblical virtue (“The word of God kept on spreading; and the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were becoming obedient to the faith. Acts 6.7), worlds apart from military obedience (a form of which was condemned at Nürnberg).

Like

2:45
Make that distinction to your bishop (especially by dissenting publicly from his instructions) and see what happens.
There is, semantically, little to distinquish a vow from a promise, nothing but the manner of expression: a vow is merely a solemn promise.
Both vow and promise express committment, and both bind a person to it. And if either (which to all intents and purposes means ‘both’) is made before a bishop, the person is committing himself, not to Christ, but to a Roman Catholic hierarch.
Your reference to obedience as a biblical virtue actually stresses my point: a bishop would certainly see obedience in this way, and see it, too, as justification for his expecting unswerving loyalty from his priests.
Dear God! I hope I don’t have to point this out, yet again. It becomes tiresome having to spoonfeed the same posters, over and over.
