ELSIE NICHOLS DOES NOT LIKE ME OR THIS BLOG šŸ˜Š

I have been friendly for years with an English priest.

This week he got a telephone from Elsie Nichols office telling him that he should have nothing more to do with me or this blog.

The Westminster priest who rang my friend also told him that Elsie was thrilled that I had been detained in the Vatican for several hours on my visit to Rome in March.

But you see, the interesting thing is that I was also thrilled by my detention.

How many people, priests or bishops have had the distinction of being detained by the Vatican Police?

I believe that my detention was historic and I will dine out on it for years to come.

Apparently Elsie goes into a rage when he is discussed on the blog.

Good!

That makes the blog’ day šŸ˜Š

Elsie is particularly cross when I publish the picture of his nun housekeeper / companion wearing his red biretta in Rome.

The vice rector asked all parishes in the UK to donate to wonersh. They were given hundreds of thousands. You can read this yourself in their year book magazine called the evangelist.

But the staff quarters were where the money was spent.ā€‹

The student corridors have the same carpet 50 years old.

The student rooms are getting a lick of paint and second hand furniture that was donated. But only when a seminarian leaves is that room refurnished.

The money raised was for the college fabric , however the vice rector spent the money on updating the staff rooms. It was said at the time that for safeguarding reasons staff could no longer share showers with students.

Streuth! Is it actually the case then that students at Wonersh still have to share communal showers? Let’s be clear that we are not talking about shared bathrooms but where the lads can all muck in and admire each other in the buff? AND until recent expensive renovations generously provided by the faithful, members of staff would also be strutting their stuff in front of the lads? Even if we discount anything “unwholesome” ( an unworthy thought ), it speaks volumes about the immature schoolboy mentality which still obtains in seminaries. I’ve always thought the common practice of referring to seminarians as “lads” weird, as a way of infantalizing grown men – and of course the freaks who teach in these places have never grown up themselves. That’s why you get characters like Father Marsden asking “lads” when they last pulled themselves off. [Yes, I know: somebody is going to reply “or each other”. A bit of decorum please! have you no respect for the clergy? ]

Elsie’s mother Mary Nichols (nee Russell) was a teacher as was his father.
Children whose mothers were tea hers often live under strict control. Elsie wanted to be a lorry driver but maybe his Mum wanted a priest in the family? They were a Catholic Lancashire family.

Nichols is livid because he has not been able to find out the source of your Westminster stories, and that the are all true.

I understand he has set his VG (a non-entity ass licker by the name of Hayes) to interrogate certain priests.

Pat it was mentioned on this blog earlier in the year about the issues at Lourdes between priests, seminarians and a certain priest from mothwell diocese. Vincent , John Sherrington, Martin Hayes and Roger Taylor all aware. The priest VIPER is still screaming about.
Also what of the episode in the Beda where one got beaten up by another, he got ordained and was sent to Daley in Parsons Green where even more happened and is now a pariah in the garden away from the city.
Carmel has too much influence she dictates who gets what. It was even mentioned earlier this year on this blog that she tried to stop the ordination of two deacons, both of which reside with Daley in Parsons Green, how the wheel keeps turning

I can’t believe that Martin Hayes is a Westminster VG. He was very wishy-washy when he was PP of Wood Green.
Most Westminster priests need a good kick up the hole from a tough VG, as happened in Stack’s day when he booted Danny out of WC for being handsy with an Iranian female volunteer.

Quite a successful trawl over 2 days after one rather vague reference to strange goings on at Wonersh. I think we get the picture now, especially as so many have generously provided names. The Rector seems a right charmer, and one has to ask whether his previous experience as a Benedictine Headmaster, when he went by the name of Father Augustine, really makes him suitable to form mature adults for ministry. Shouting at them for giggling in fire drill and calling them out for being fat – what does he do when they piss the bed? Where was he, by the way? St Augustine’s, as that closed donkey’s years ago? Does Father Luke get away with being generously proportioned – and is his actual name Darren, or somebody taking the piss? Also someone might as well go the whole hog now and tell what really happened to Lawrence Doyle – without any disrespect either to him or his father. Why was he forced to leave in the middle of the night? Had he witnessed something nasty in the woodshed … or the showers? And did the Rector really bawl him out for having asthma, like the fat kid in Lord of the Flies? How very different from the home life belonging to the seminary of our own dear Cardinal. Sounds like a case for Sister Wragg!

The Clifton seminarian in the gym Thomas Lawes was admitted to candidacy in summer and will be ordained deacon this Christmas.
His brother Albert is studying in the venerable in Rome and was also admitted to candidacy during the summer.

Good question and relevant to my question at 7:29pm. Can these two really be the same, as St Augustineā€™s closed years ago? Confusion or somebody is taking the piss ā€“ the same as claimed Father Luke Smith is actually called Darren! Somewhere on this blog, one of the lads at Wonersh, said that the Rector ticked off a couple of lads for piling on the pounds. All small town stuff, I suppose, compared to the truly dark corruption fuelled by love of money in the USA, which Pat discusses re the National Shrine.

I’ve just checked the Benedictine Year Book from the 1990s and there’s a R. Dom. Brian Augustine Coyle listed for Ramsgate in the role of headmaster of the Abbey Junior School, Westgate-on-Sea.

The Benedictineā€™s from Ramsgate moved to Chilworth just a couple of miles up the road from Wonersh.

I couldnā€™t take more than five minutes of that rubbish to think people waste their lives on that, wearing hoodies and chanting in English what a load of junk but of course they are on a path of discerning ! Elsie goes into a rage when mentioned on this blog, does she šŸ¤£ wellā€¦ my P.P in Liverpool knows Elsie from the days when she was a priest in the NRoth West (they are both quite old) and apparently Elsie is a bit of an old lady that would have temper tantrums when she did not get her way! I see things have not changed!
Oh and +Pat, hopefully when this IICSA inquiry is completed, the ones who have covered up (which I firmly believe is all of them!) will be thrown into a real prison and not just a museum one (sorry to steal your thunder, Pat). But pray do tell! Did you get frisked by a Roman guard? You lucky thing, you šŸ¤£
Jokes aside though, hopefully their IICSA Inquiry will actually take action because there are seminarians who are literally petrified at the moment and erstwhile of the Underground has boycotted Valladolid (as of 2018) and sent his seminarians straight to major. I think this was because of what happened to the lad with ADD when erstwhile sent him to the torture chamber in Spain.
