CATHOLIC PRIESTHOOD IS NOW A UNIVERSAL GAY “KNOCKING SHOP”.

“JOIN THE ROYAL NAVY AND SEE THE WORLD”

“JOIN THE CATHOLIC PRIESTHOOD AND SEE THE HOLE WORLD”.

Sadly  the Roman Catholic priesthood is now the biggest club in the world for sexually active bishops, priests and seminarians.

There’s more casual sex available in the RC priesthoid than their is available in the Red Light districts of cities like Amsterdam.

And no matter what your particular kink is, you will find an answer for it in every diocese and seminary in the world – from “Vanilla” to BDSM.

And, all of this happening in a church whose catechism says that homosexuality is seriously disordered and a grave sin!

Do they mean it’s only disordered and sinful for non clerics?

Presently  we have;

Seminarians being considered for diaconate and priesthood who are having sex like rabbits.

Seminarians and priests – and probably bishops – looking anonymous gay sex on apps like Grindr.

Seminarians and young priests acting as rent boys for senior clergy.

Seminarians and seminary staff having sex.

The presence of poppers and drugs in seminaries.

Priests attempting to seduce young men in their parishes.

Bishops appointing priest secretaries on the basis of their looks and sexual orientation.

Active and non active gay bishops allowing ordinations to take place because they have the hots for the ordinands.

Diocesan cliques of gay priests.

Seminarians expelled from seminaries over gay sex activities been taken on by bishops and being sent to new seminaries.

Many, many bishops turning a blind eye to the strange goings on among their seminarians and priests.

I have often said that the RCC was the Roman Empire Mk 11. And now we see the existence of the sexual anarchy in the RCC that played a major role in destroying the first Roman empire.

Sexual anarchy is not good for any human being, group of human beings or for society.

Sex is a wonderful gift from God but all gifts come with their accompanying obligations.

Sex is primarily a gift that allows us to show love, affection, attraction in a special way.

But sex should not be about hurting, using or abusing.

When that priest and seminarian had sex on the Kildorrery altar God was hurt. The believing community that gathers there was hurt. Christianity was abused and belittled by those who have set themselves up as the champions of Catholic Christianity.

When Catholic bishops “force” young priests and seminarians to do them sexual favours they are using and abusing those young men. They are using their position in the Christian Community to prey on the “vulnerable”.

When seminarians and priests engage in orgiastic sex with each other they are betraying their faith, their vocation and the community they serve – and the community who pay for their lives and in return expect authenticity and standards from them.

They are saying to the community: “Give us your money. Give you your respect. Put us on your pedestals, acknowledge us as “Alter Christus”, live as we tell you to live – but when it comes to expecting certain standards from us – fuck off”!

The RCC priesthood and episcopate is now full of gay sex addicts.

Put addicts in charge of your organisation and what do you get ?

You get anarchy, destruction and a tsunami of human misery!

Following on from my 9.22 below, because damage control requires an ongoing supply of damage, any one in search of mutual back scratching opportunities has a sharp eye for damage causers.
Sometimes the seminary of the movement concerned acquires a squeakier image so as to humiliate the standard one, sometimes the movement’s own seminary is made extra squalid as a booby prize to the standard ones for appearing to be less so. All very nicely calibrated.
So the rival factions, like Herod and Pilate, feed off each other. I love the bit in the video when those of the same stripe quarrel.

Most tragically for the shining of spiritual light in this world, there has in my time been:
– a lack of teaching in supplicating & interceding
– a lack of Holy Spirit belief
– a lack of gifts and virtues such as prudence & discernment in the life of every ordinary member
It is so sad how the religion of Christ can come over as shallow bossiness, the mere rehashing of memes or tropes in wording or in body language.
The generation St John Henry Newman strengthened got wiped out in the Great War.

As a gay man, and a priest, I still stand by the fact that I felt called to be a priest way back as a young boy. I was never abused in any way. And I have never abused.
I have never condemned anyone, nor would I ever do that! But, I am a gay man. And I am a priest. And I see no contradiction between the two. To hell with any one who does.

Yep, that is the crucial question ! Being gay if fine. Being a priest is fine. Being celibate is fine. Scurrying around and breaking celibacy is not fine. It is all about honesty and integrity. If you promise something, then you need to keep to it. If you break it you are lying and are not to be trusted. Simple !

We think of you at that moment when,

Help us, your children,
to accept with joy our own calling in life.
When you learned that your cousin Elizabeth was in need
you immediately went to serve her

Help us, like you,

We think of you, Mother,
at the foot of the cross.
Your heart must have bled

But your joy was great

Help us not to lose heart.

Since you are such a fan of these masochistic practices, perhaps you could persuade me of their spiritual validity and efficacy.

The only suffering that has any spiritual and psychic value, in my opinion, is that which is endured for doing the right thing; anything else (like self-flagellation) is a morbid and warped self-indulgence.

Try doing the right thing, just for one day, and you will experience a cornucopia of suffering…no need of travel to Lough Derg to engage in a form of self-mortification whose rationale (and spiritual diversion of Christianity’s course) can be traced to St Jerome and his mistranslation of the Greek ‘metanoeite’ (‘repentance’) into the Latin ‘poenitentiam agite’ (‘do penance’) before its being codified in Celtic monasticism.

We (well, some of us) are today still living the legacy of this quasi-spiritual humbug.

So you can’t, after all, persuade me of the spiritual validity and efficacy of those practices. Why? Is it that they’re simply assumed sacred (and, therefore, unquestionable) through becoming a sick and sorry tradition? To put it bluntly, ‘a bad habit born of…superstition’? 😕
I recall a lovely anecdote from a pilgrim to that shrine of self-harming. While all the ‘pilgrims’ (‘self-harmers’) were fasting on dry toast and walking barefoot chanting…God-knows-what…the tormenting aroma of fried sausages wafted from the open window of a priest’s kitchen, thereby adding the agony of Romanist cynicism to the ‘pilgrims’ deprivation.
As ever, the Romanist priests stuffed their bloated faces with good things (‘good things’ is ambiguous for ‘all sorts of things’, not just for cooked sausages😎) while the sheep went hungry and strained.
Loug Derg is a microcosm of the Church: of the sharp, and pretentious, contrast between a privilged clergy, and a subservient laity.

Yes, he did.
Martin Luther picked up on the fact from his study of the Greek texts of the New Testament rather than Jerome’s Latin vulgate translation of them. Luther reasoned, correctly, that the nearer to the original language one studied the New Testament, the more likely his understanding of it to be reliable.
Jerome postulated a god who wanted his pound of flesh (penetential exercise) for every sin committed, wheras Luther demonstrated that all God required was a personal acknowledgement that certain behaviours were not acceptable to him, harmful to the human spirt, and detrimental to one’s eschatological destiny (his state in the afterlife).
And then, with God’s transforming grace, to persevere in the attempt to eradicate those behavious from his or her life.

St Patrick’s Purgatory, on Lough Derg in Co Donegal, now has a rival for hilarity 😅 and bemusement. 😕 On Saturday, Pope Francis is to be joined, through live-streaming, at the mock-up of the Lourdes grotto in Vatican City gardens by prayer-supplicants at other Marian shrines around the world. Their collective mission? To ‘implore’ the Virgin Mary to intercede for humankind to bring the Covid-19 Pandemic to an end. Apparently, recent inter-faith prayer with Muslims did not do the trick, so the pope has decided its best to keep such an ambitious intercessory objective in the broader Church family…to see if this will get the Virgin Mary’s attention instead.
You could not make up this stuff.
These supplicants are the very people who would tell the world that God had some mysterious purpose in not preventing the Pandemic, which apparently he could have done, since, alledgedly, he is all-powerful.
The mind-games Heaven plays with Earth, in Rome, and on Lough Derg.😨
Incidentally, there is a high irony in my disclosing this information after such a withering critique of it: I have just broadcast news of Saturday’s event. Those of you sympathetic to a little Marian arm-twisting may now join the global prayer assualt. 😃

I know priests who are gay and wonderfully good, human and caring men but who also are faithful to celibacy. There are some who struggle horribly with their sexuality. When brought to light by whatever forum these men should avail if a psychological/sexuality discerning programme and be helped make a more honest decision. This debate will last forever until the Church seriously re-examines its teachings on human sexuality (a beautiful gift), celibacy/married priesthood for men and women and its horrible treatment of gay people. Hi Bishop Pat. To endorse the comments of the ex Glasgow Priest above. This Diocese has several excellent men in it. All committed to Priesthood and to their vocation. Unfortunately it is also a cesspit of gay sex, poppers, relationships and grooming. I watch one or two of the ring leaders say Mass and lead prayers on social media, leading double lives to the extreme. I know one younger man who was taken advantage off by a senior Priest several years ago, another Priest took him there under the pretence of talking about a possible vocation. Within and hour, the Priest took advantage sexually and then said we had better return to praying. The victim doesn’t want to rock the boat as he is ashamed. I know of another who moved his lay boyfriend into the Presbytery and they lived together for over a year. Nothing was done about, although the Priest did eventually leave. One Priest from
Glasgow has been in a sexual relationship with a Priest from a nearby Diocese for many years and again, this is well know about. There is also a gay circle of Priests in Glasgow, Paisley and Motherwell who all meet regularly and holiday together at least 3 times a year. At least 3 clergy here are also on leave for taking advantage of men, or on one case a young female Parishioner. They continue to be funded by the lay faithful. You will also know of the Priest who was caught on the holy altar a few years back, naked and with a sex toy in him. He is still running a Parish here. I’m coming towards the end of my time in post. but I have decided that these people need exposed. Nothing will ever change otherwise. Thing is, I feel guilty as they are all good men, bit it is the double standards element that bothers me more than anything. Maybe I need to pray harder before naming them, although I suspect that this contribution will encourage others to come forward.

As for the relationship of the Paisley priest with the Glasgow priest that is simmering away + John has got two C/O but he needs the third sorted however the Good thing for Glasgow is hopefully this will explode and + John will not be transferred to Glasgow.

Glasgow needs sorted in every way as sadly= Philip had the wrong people around him but hopefully soon the other one will go and it will be a fresh Curia.

My advice although not worth much is when you do expose these so called priests go over to St. Andrews Drive and do it not at Clyde Street.

I hope for Glasgow that +Joe’s eyesight gets better and he is transferred to Glasgow and sorts out the Parishes and Curia.

He has been more careful these last few years with his social media posts and no Police for a while. Yes, he is moving out of his high profile post in the Autumn we are told. The Paisley guy lost weight and likes attention from younger. He seems nice in fairness. One of the 3 Paisley c/o guys is a lovely man and won’t be back. Good career now and a lovely dog. Hope he finds happiness, he is a looker and won’t have difficulty finding a friend. I encouraged the victim to go direct to +P’s house or to call safeguarding, but not sure he will. All they will do is offer him money to gag him anyway. +P knows who these men are but hasn’t the energy to deal. I know he would
like to though. The staff at HQ are mostly a waste of space. The Comms man is on over £85k and they have got him editing their newspaper now as he is bored and the days of Archbishops needing a Director of Comms are gone as they rarely communicate. Let’s see who else contributes to the state of Glasgow and Paisley.

He has just appointed one of his wee Blairs Boys, after only 3 years ordination , to one of the prime parishes in Motherwell, Rutherglen, who was being a lovely wee boy with another former Blairs priest who was the parish priest. The whole thing is a satanic plague. And the Rector from Blairs was . . . . someone by the name of Keith Patrick!
The Priest who stood against it in Motherwell, wrote a book about it and gave the names, has been suppressed/sidelined by your Joe even though Rome found in the priest’s favour and said he should be restored to parish.
Joe has is known to have said that while he is Bishop, that priest will not be back; stinks!
But Joe is happy to have a Gay Boy wearing rainbow ties instead of a collar and remain as a PP.
The Catholic Church in Scotland is cancer ridden and needs un-merciless surgery to remove that cancer starting at the top. You would have thought that such a thing might have followed the Keith Patrick affair, but sadly and worryingly not.

If only some of the contributors here had been saying that when the lay group Catholic Truth in Scotland was doing the exposing. We were punished and insulted for our trouble.
The same people here – especially those claiming to be priests – will be held accountable at their judgment for failing to speak out to warn us all, the ordinary Catholics paying for the disgraceful “lifestyles” of these anything-but-Catholic priests, which they, now, have the nerve to describe. Especially given that they had a forum ready to hand (Catholic Truth) and failed to do so because (wait for this) the Bishops of Scotland disapprove of Catholic Truth. DUH.
There is much more to say about this discussion thread – but it has left me speechless! Priests would sooner come onto the blog of Bishop Pat Buckley, rather than work with a concerned group of laity in their own country, but for now I’ll settle for pointing out that I’m always astounded that so few Catholics are aware that that is what they are: Catholics. Not “Roman Catholics”. Here’s a very short history of the name of the Church. Let’s not support the Protestants in their attempt to spread the heresy of the Branch Theory…

I take your point and obviously I’m not answering for Bishop Buckley.
I would like to think that ‘exposing’ the dysfunction in the church would be unnecessary, and would certainly not be desirable.
However balanced against that is that when you attempt to speak to anyone who is supposed to have a responsibility or the power to change there remains a solid wall of denial and obfuscation.
You must remember that many posters here have repeatedly banged their head against this wall and it is very evident that despite the rhetoric literally nothing around human dignity and the behaviour of the clergy has changed.
In the circumstances I would be grateful for any realistic ways to change the church’s behaviour.

Just persuade EVERYBODY to stop contributing in any way to the RCC, financially, materially etc. And I purposely put larger letters for everybody.
But I’m afraid it would be a hopeless task, so sorry I can’t be more realistic. Cathbots and holy water hens like to feel “good” about contributing. There is a dangerous approach if we treat all expelled seminarians as possible sex offenders and abusers. Of course some of those expelled do have serious problems. But far from all.
What about all seminarians expelled from seminary or diocese because they refuse taking part in all the sex, drugs and rock’n’roll? They are many. It is almost impossible today to get through seminary to ordination if you become a seminarian simply because you’re answering what you believe is a call to priesthood – which of course should be the reason to become a seminarian. But it is not your vocation to the priesthood they are interested in. It is your look and if they can have any use of you for pleasure, abuse, bullying or similar. If you refuse, or even worse – report and complain about it they’ll have you expelled “for the best of the church in these turbulent times”. The church is an expert in victim blaming and use it often as a cover up and penalty. It’s more likely a seminarian that is sexually groomed or raped will be kicked out rather than the abuser. Often given a reason like it is for the best of the church. And he will never be able to be accepted somewhere else and answer his true vocation, while the abuser continous as nothing has happened or have strong supporters arranging for his transfer to a different diocese or seminary.
We see it happening every day. At Oooh Scott. At Wo(a)n(k)ersh. At Anal Hole. At Gaynooth.

Bishop Pat, there was a person called Pablo mentioned on your blog yesterday from Allen Hall who we learned committed suicide. I was very upset to know this as are others I’ve since shared this with today. God rest his soul. I thank you for telling us 19 years later as it’s a huge shock . He studied at Heythrop and Allen Hall. He was the most gentle, quiet man you could meet. RIP Pablo

There was also the unexplained “suicide” of the young Offaly seminarian in St Patrick’s, Thurles

Like

It would be invaluable to get information on the number of suicides that have taken place among abuse victims. The Thumpers from Thurles strike again hi? I know of one neocat seminarian in London and six children of neocat families in the UK who couldn’t take any more. Not Paul hi.

Michael Deegan. He was soon forgotten by Clifford and the diocese of San Francisco who sponsored him. Michael RIP. Another suicide in a Seminary – still no answers Thanks Fr Pat for keeping his name alive

That story on your blog about Pablo RIP last night was true. Some might be cynical about information on your blog.
I’m glad someone broke the story to you because the Neo Cats and Westminster have blood on their hands. The Republic of Ireland now have Neo Cats near Dundalk, my advice for all its worth – beware.

Fellow seminarians were bullying him by shoving gay porn under his door.

The Neo Cats are a sect. They are totally weird and they are loonies from all corners of the world. Their liturgy (own liturgy) made up by them is weird. They are a cult. Watch out for them in Ireland. The Archbishop in Armagh allowed them in to Ireland. My advice – watch and learn. Disaster.

Like

The NeoCats are a completely bonkers and dangerous group, but they should also serve as a warning to the Church about the dangers of lay-led reform movements.
The NeoCats is primarily a lay-led group founded by laypeople Francisco “Kiko” Argüello and Carmen Hernández. It was originally an early form of Basic Ecclesial Community (something that Pat wrote about earlier in the week). It won the support of Church leadership, but it has retained its independence and the leadership, whilst still being mainly made up of laity, has become extremely clericalist, legalistic, and controlling.
It fulfils many of the criteria to be described as a cult:
1. It has a charismatic leader.
2. A process [of indoctrination or education is in use that can be seen as] coercive persuasion or thought reform [commonly called “brainwashing”].
3. Economic, and other exploitations of group members by the leader and the ruling coterie.

There are countless distressing stories of members and ex-members who have been exploited and abused by the movement: From LGBT identifying members being driven to suicide after condemned publically, PUBLIC confessions made in front of the entire community with extreme sexual content in the presence of children, Seminarians having passports confiscated and imprisoned in seminaries in foreign countries, families encouraged to shun family members who are considered “tainted”… the list goes on.

It is my belief that the The NeoCatechumenal Way has inflicted more damage upon the Catholic Church than ANY other group and I am aghast that it hasn’t been condemned by the Church (although a few good dioceses have limited their activities, or even banned them!) and I’m aghast there hasn’t been a more negative focus on them in the media.

When ANY new Catholic movement begins, there should be a move against cult like activity.
No group should associate themselves with one charismatic leader.
No group should suggest that they have the correct answer, and other groups are in error.
No group should exploit anyone, ever.

Like

Of course they are cults. The SSPX also is a cult… did you know laity are banned from watching television? I learnt this a few years ago when a friend of mine (who is SSPX) told me she had to hide the TV because her priest was visiting her elderly mother who lived with her.

7.53 there’s a lot more than just those three. It’s never been good enough that we were “catholic”, for the church. We had to be far more than that. Look at all the varieties of “knights”, menaces every last one.

Who knew what? Were the faculty aware of anything?
Did anyone know bullying was going on? Any repercussions on the bullies?

It’s strange all of this. The wife and I like the Fr. Brown series each afternoon on ITV3. It dealt with a suicide in the Seminary just a few weeks back and Fr Brown mentioned Allen Hall on the programme.

Like

I too enjoy Father Brown, though the reference to Allen Hall in the fifties was anachronistic, as the seminary only moved from St Edmund’s Ware to Chelsea in the seventies.

Like

What about Old Hall Green. It was of its time when Fr Brown was set. C K Chesterton I believe wrote the Fr Brown series.

C K Chesterton was a great awriter. I’m glad people are enjoying the Father Brown programmes as much as I’ve done.

He was certainly those things, but less than gracious about his former co-religionists: Chesterton once described the spiritual ambience of Anglican-church interiors as impressing upon personal sensibility ‘the presence of the real absence’, a sniffy allusion to the spiritual superiority (he believed) of their Roman Catholic counterparts.
Like a drunkard, there is, it seems, only one thing worse than a practising Anglican: one that has reformed (in this case, converted to Roman Catholicism).

Pablo was not at Allen Hall. He was from Valencia and placed at the Redemptoris Mater house of formation in London. Apparently he took an overdose. Neos coudn’t suppress the information on this one which is their normal modus operandi. I hope that Pablo is in less need of your mass Bishop Pat than the people who put him in that position.

The neocats celebrate their eucharist on Saturday evenings and rarely will a stranger be present. I am assured that their eucharist is a “sacrifice of praise” and not the catholic sacrifice of the body and blood of Christ. How does this sit with other catholics? Maybe Pablo saw the light!

All the people at Allen Hall who knew and loved Pablo must have been absent for the 3-4 years we attended lectures with him @8.09 pm. Don’t insult his memory.

I was astonished to see the picture on the home page of the diocese of Northampton:
https://northamptondiocese.org
It seems to be a bit much to show the Holy Spirit actually descending on the bishop and putting the picture where it is – it smacks of arrogance and is giving a message that the bishop is divinely inspired and at least suggesting everyone else can shut up.

I rather doubt that either Boris or Eton contribute to the running of the Northampton Diocese. Also I have no idea what its assets are.

Northampton does indeed take in Eton College (just about). It’s parish is Eton Wick and the Thames is the boundary I just discovered tonight between it and Portsmouth diocese. A bridge separates them. As for Chequers which is Bucks, Northampton encompasses all of Bucks, many stars of stage and screen live there. Terry Wogan lived in Taplow in the Parish of Bourne End. Gerrards Cross is a mega celebrity hot spot but the plebs dont look after that – the Carmelites hold the keys to that one.

I was glad to be informed of the spread of the NeoCats, as I had had no idea of their extent. It explains now why so many seminarians at Allen Hall are listed as belonging to Redemptoris Mater. What a disaster the Catholic priesthood is: nancy-boys leading a double life, ex Anglicans who now fancy becoming “proper” priests while continuing to do their own thing, and nut-cases belonging to various cults and sects. I’m done with it all. We would all do better watching Father Brown on the telly. ( By the way, I think Old Hall Green is St Edmunds Ware, and the location of the Westminster Seminary until moving to Allen Hall in the seventies when Mgr Jim O’Brien was Rector – succeeded by that awful charlatan John Coghlan, who died recently. )

Like

You are indeed right my friend @8.41pm. Allen Hall was at Ware and Old Hall Green before transferring to Chelsea. Bishop James O’Brien was a saintly man and decent, some of the Rectors after that were horrid men including the convicted John Coughlan who has died in the last few months.

Pat are you aware of some of the awful things that have happened in Galloway in Scotland? Former Bishop Taylor covering up for child abusing friend, Paul Moore, who incidentally was a friend of the late Brendan Smythe. For a long period of the 80’s/90’s the VD was allowed total freedom to recruit queens from all over the country, but often not from the diocese, and had his own harem. Binge drinking, rich living and lots of gay sex were par for the course. It was so bad at one point that Galloway was referred to as TSB (after the bank) the diocese that likes to say YES! The then VD was a close personal friend of Keith “Bunny” O’Brien…
The rot is still there in Galloway, some of it’s current younger clergy having a name as voracious drinkers and active queens! It’s not a diocese with that many priests so it’s fairly straightforward working out who is who…I mean, St Joseph, pray for us!
