ARE THE ENGLISH SEMINARIANS AND YOUNG PRIESTS OUT OF CONTROL?

POINTS MADE BY FORMER SEMINARIAN

1. Simon and Johnpromise joined wonershed with checkered pasts

2.Joe Meigh was the trigger.

3. Power struggle between Joe and Simon

4. Johnpromise is a member of the rainbow society

5. Simon and Johnpromise became allies with Jerry the new rector

6. Brian brought Jerry in to assist him

7. Jerry weeded out straight men.

8. Jerry put pressure on to Brian

9. Brian left as he realised that jerry was pulling the strings

10. Jerry promoted to rector

What has happened to Gustavo? The master mind still at wonersh.

Xxxxx still under investigation and protected by the church despite his disgusting crimes yet men in good standed thrown out with know where to live.

Why? Because they challenged the villainous homosexual party….

Johnpromise has expensive taste for a man of the cloth.

PAT SAYS

What is all this about?

One young priest calling another young priest MY LORD?

A seminarian, during Covid announcing Dowry of Mary on a beach dressed like an English country gentleman?

A young Nigerian priest eating native Nigerian fare swallowed down with Moet?

Cat fights in seminarians with the “straights” getting the boot?

If Gilbert and Sullivan were around would they produce the Wonkers of Wonersh?

Where is philosophy?

Where is theology?

Where is spirituality?

AND, where is the sanity in all of it?

And what about mission? The People of God? Service?

Jesus, and John Vianney, wept!

God Almighty Pat. Wonersh has changed since my day. In my time, it was run by a German Irish Nun. The Principle at the time, a Mr Jeremy Garrett, couldn’t be arsed. So the German Nun was put in charge. I didn’t last long, I had to get out!

Joe, I’m not so sure if theology is at the root of it.
What theology informs crime, corruption, abuse, and protecting abusers ?
Maybe idolatry has a part to play. Seems to me to be predominately codology.

An ideal job for the lazy gay man. free food, clothing and shelter, surrounded by fellow travellers, a basic income and not a lot to do. It’s also that increasingly rare thing, a job for life, no matter what you do. Take the legend that is Rory Coyle as an example, in fairness he’s not lazy, but boy, is he being well looked after. The system is wide open to abuse and the lads are right to take advantage of it. They obviously don’t have a lot between their ears or they would be keeping a much lower profile, but having said that, they have enough to know a good thing when they see it. Dear me, all this “look at me” culture with seminarians and young priests ! They need to take a holiday from YouTube and keep a low profile and knuckle down to what they should be doing.

Also, the comings and goings and antics of these seminarians and young priests, whether they stay or leave or move on to new things or get themselves in to all sorts of messes, is an indication that the Church has not got it right in its candidate selection, seminary formation, and on going formation and oversight during the first few years of ordination. You only have to look at the cast of characters that have received some exposure on this blog – Rory, John Paul Lyttle, Gorgeous, the lardy guy in the jockstrap, Jolly, and yes, even Littlemaniple and his ridiculous antics. All these characters are canaries in the mine warning us that things are not right.

Will bishops and those charged with formation do anything about it ? Probably not, because it is a culture that they seem to come from themselves and appear to condone – endless second chances, time out, sabbaticals, working on special projects as an excuse for being furloughed, ongoing financial and accommodation support for the ‘disappeared’ etc.

Even further, is it not time that the Catholic Church had a root and branch review of what it really means to be a priest – asking questions about mandatory celibacy, about the lived culture of priesthood, clericalism, and yes, even women priests, not to mention having an outlook that values people for who they are rather than what their sexuality or relationships happen to be. Bottom line is that all is not well, and it is fast going to fail catastrophically if they do not see the signs of the times. At present, the Church survives in spite of our bishops and priests.

The comments you are make is simply saying, the priest are perfect do as you told. No wonder people have left the faith and hate the church.

Should the poor server who are abused by wicked priest shut up and accept this because they are of God so it must be right?

You are saying, if the priest abuses a kid its fine? Because he is a priest.

Christ didn’t look favourably on the hiegh priests of his time.

Christ said that anyone who harms one of these little one would better of not been born.

No right minded person can say that the priest is without sin and imperfection, the question is what is he doing about it? If he harming the vulnerable he needs to be stopped.

Whatever happened to the act of charity? I have read all the vicious remarks made over the last few weeks about Fr Peter Littleton. Whoever is writing these comments claims to have been a seminarian at Wonersh. Is it a characteristic of the seminarians there that they are vicious, uncharitable and ruthless? Or is it just a minority of the seminarians? I have witnessed these characteristics among many gay men among the laity.
As far as John Promise is concerned-how on earth was he able to become an ordained priest? The seminary has failed him and the wider church in his lack of formation. Talking of nutter!
I watched Joe Meigh’s videos last night. I don’t understand why he took them down and I don’t understand what “he instigated”. Perhaps someone could elaborate. He looks like an over pious lad with a high opinion of himself and probably typical of what I perceive to be the types at Wonersh..

I have a view on Littletwat, and I was not at Wonersh or any seminary. I think you will find that there are a number of correspondents on this blog who have things to say about Littleplonker and his nauseating performances with birettas, maniples, and his high pitched excruciating homilies. Solution ? Keep a low profile, shut up, ditch the maniples and biretta, stop regurgitating formulaic Church teaching that you don’t even understand, and it will all go away. However, it seems to me that he has been counselled just to keep going and pushing on. Wrong tactic.

Like

I think maybe the time has come for people to leave off ridiculing Peter Littleton. Yes, he is in part the author of his own misfortune, particularly those excruciating videos expounding arcane areas of traditional Catholic theology, and the rather strange liturgical vestments he appears to be wearing, in particular a maniple. i’m not sure he is the kind of robust character that is able to cope with this kind of attention, and I would not want to hear that he had flipped and had a nervous breakdown or worse topped himself – no doubt using a cincture or girdle of the right liturgical colour of the season. I reckon he’s been the centre of attention and mirth for long enough, so time for correspondents to desist. I think that there are some questions to be asked about someone like Peter Littleton, and his long slog through the seminary, and evident questions being asked about hs suitability. But, that is the case with so many seminarians it would appear. Bishops are just so desperate to find bodies that they are inclined to take pretty much anything and overlook all the warning signs. + Egan in Portsmouth is a prime case. JPL and JohnPromise being cases in point.

I notice there are three or four to be ordained this summer. I’ll have a look in a couple of years and see how many are still in harness. Past history doesn’t bode too well. Pat, I’m genuinely puzzled. In my time in Maynooth the heterosexual sems were very much in the majority. Those suspected by the deans were dismissed, and those in the closet stayed in the closet. 1980s Maynooth wasn’t the time or the place for acting out of gay behaviour.
It is now very obvious that most sems are gay. With their gaydar on they must spot on another a mile off. In modern seminaries do they break the ice very quickly and say they are gay, or is there still a farce of ignoring the elephant in the room. Is the behaviour open or a secret?

For example, verses 13 and 14 —
In the prophets of Samaria
I saw an unsavory thing:
they prophesied by Baal
and led my people Israel astray.
But in the prophets of Jerusalem
I have seen a horrible thing:
they commit adultery and walk in lies;
they strengthen the hands of evildoers,
so that no one turns from his evil;
all of them have become like Sodom to me,
and its inhabitants like Gomorrah.

To Joseph Lolkard it mesns that God is not mocked without due punishment. He will punish all those who mock him, just as he punished the Israelites by allowing their conquest and Sodom and Gomorrah their destruction,

This video makes the rededication of England as Mary’s Dowry even more bizarre.
It smacks of a past age of Christendom anyway and if Joe is right about what the word meant in mediaeval times, well using a word in a sense completely different to how anyone understands it now is ridiculous.
I started off that video a Catholic but will certainly now be considering alternatives.
Joseph Lollard, how do I join your lot?

Pat, someone has just told me that there is only one priest being ordained this year (Shane Costello, Tuam) and none are being ordained from the college next year. A watershed moment, if true?

Good Evening, Thursday is your evening to cook on that fabulous cooker…no Bishops House has one to match it except in Newry ( Mc A installed that one )……who are you entertaining this evening? If you are still at it …..Patsy Mc Garry always loved those evenings…..raved about them…in even hotter places….not a kitchen!
You cooked for Denis the Dim when he was staying with Paul Taylor in Lucan( after the English Scholars on the new Mass text concluded in Newry……Lol Lol Lol) ….thats the retired Archbishop of Melbourne to the uninitiated ……he succeeded Denis in his parish when George ensured the lights would not be quite as bright in Melbourne when he left for Sydney…..Melbourne is a much more glorious city….mind you at a bar in Melbourne chatting with the beautiful bar person…they told me Id go better there….I asked the person why….” they have attitude like you ” was the reply. Lol Lol Lol Lol

Those responsible for the current translation of the missal deserved to be fed on bread and water for forty days and forty nights to atone for their ideological butchering of the English language and of the Mass.

Before I say Good Night….I would like to answer a question ‘someone’ asked a few days ago; Yes, I knew Michael Mullaney….very well……before the Borg assimilated him entirely.
He had a future as a very decent priest….Sean Brady saw to that……as he so often did,,,,
Trying to follow Prime Time as well….multi tasking is a little more difficult than it used to be…Lol…Lol ….you’d be foolish to think that one is serious !!

Brain White who does not know me from Eve was going around Blackrock speaking of me.
Bishop Buckley was very right about that fellow.
So was Sweeney !!!!!
Eamonn Martin is a weak judge of character.
Prime Time finished on a less interesting point.

Also, is it true that the Church in England & Wales has six seminaries but only 32 seminarians?

The sound was poor on Bernard’s clip but it sounded like a second year not much beyond 30 was saying he has “finished philosophy”, as if that is the attitude the Church needs . . .
Now when the holiest thing in the universe depends on clerics handling their altar wine, we not only have the Moet, but lovingly lingering and longing glances at all the beer in St John’s. Check out what brewery supplies the latter because it might get spiked.
I see the many ex-Valladolids all go to finishing school nearer home. Have I been getting this wrong and is what we are seeing, in fact an airlift or rescue attempt?

Its truly shocking Pat, its confirmed from my sources within the Arch Diocese of Armagh Stephen Wilson will be ordained a Deacon. Eamon Martin has passed a blind eye to the numerous allegations against Wilson.

The laity are not stupid. They realise that England is full of protestant sects, promiscuity, abortion, women priests, Satanism, DNA editing and pure evil. The catholic bishops may be living in ivory towers and be removed from reality but that doesn’t mean that anyone in their right mind, let alone a seminarian, should support their ridiculous actions. The bishops don’t need encouragement they need a wake up call. Put your own house right and make it fit for Mary.!
