WHERE IS POPE FRANCIS’ REPORT ON EX CARDINAL MC CARRICK?

This report is my Church Militant. Ignore the interviewer and listen to the facts

This interview is very important for the following reasobs:

1. It announces that McCarrick will be held liable in the civil courts for his actions.

2. He will be deposed this month, hopefully in public.

3. He my have to use up his vast off shore savings to pay his victim.

It shows Feancis in a very bad light – for sitting on The Vatican McCarrick report.

THE INTRODUCTION OF SAME SEX RELIGIOUS MARRIAGES IN NORTHERN IRELAND.

Yesterday I as the nominating person of The Oratory Society received a letter from the Northern Ireland Registrar General asking if The Oratory wished to celebrate government recognised religious same sex marriages in Northern Ireland.

Of course, I replied saying that indeed we did.

So, from September, The Oratory priests will be able to celebrate same sex marriages that are fully legal in Northern Ireland.

I doubt if very many churches in Northern Ireland will be agreeing to celebrate same sex marriages.

The RCC will not do them.

I cant see the Church of Ireland, the Presbyterians or the Methodists doing them.

We will certainly not see them happening in the Paisleyite Free Presbyteruan Church.

I cant see the Baptists and the other free churches doing them.

I know that some of the Unitarians aka The Non Subscribing Presbyterian Churches will do them – especially All Souls Belfast where the very gay friendly minister Chris Hudson is minister will do them.

I have been doing Same Sex Blessings for 34 years now.

It will be good that those ceremonies will now be legal in Northern Ireland.

Obviously, no church or priest / minister will be forced to perform same sex weddings.

What do readers think of the introduction of same sex religious marriage in Northern Ireland?

Pat, forget about McCarrick. . You’ll become a millionaire over night with same sex couples flocking to you.. well done. Hurrah for the Oratory. Now you can retire to the Seychelles in a year or two…

Well done Pat. You bring happiness to decent honest gay people who want to have their union formalised and indeed blessed. Long may you continue in your ministry.

There is a consistency and lack of hypocrisy in the Protestant churches in NI declining to have SSM. Their beliefs are against it and, importantly, they don’t have a clergy who in 90% of cases are in the closet, unlike the Catholic Church.
The Presbyterians removed from office an elder in David Ford’s congregation because of the issue. The Catholic Church, in contrast, is ordaining to the priesthood Rev Chris Butler, who talks often about his civil partnership, even though the Catholic Church won’t celebrate them for its members.
The hypocrisy and “do what I say, don’t do what I do” attitude in the Catholic Church is sickening.

Like

Where is your evidence regarding Rev Chris Butler. I have checked the internet and other sources. I can only find evidence that he is from a medical background and a frequent pilgrim to Lourdes helping the sick and disabled.

Like

It just mentions churches in the letter. I’ll put in a Freedom of Information Act request. If only we had one of them for the Church – so much suffering would have been avoided.

Like

That would be considered incitement. They wouldn’t dare. They will be allowed to stick with arranged and forced marriages, bad treatment of women, and contempt for anybody else who is not like them. Oh, and systematic abuse of young girls over decades that nobody would dare to challenge because of racial and culture sensitivities. We make all sorts of exceptions for people who claim religious views and positions, including this matter of civil partnerships and marriage, and indeed employment rights for people of difference in respect of religious organisations and institutions. Why ? The law should be applied equally to all, be they Muslim, Catholic, Hindu, Jew, religious or not religious or whatever. There are too many exceptions for people to wriggle through and carry on with their discriminatory and prejudicial attitudes, and to continue prejudice in view and action against anybody who is different.

I think marriage, same sex or not, is beautiful.
Why should gender matter?

Like

marriage is between one man and one woman. no law will change that. Same sex couples rightly deserve to freely express their love and commitment and that is why we introduced civil partnerships.

Like

I will disagree with you on that. It used to be my belief and I was very much against it and vigorously campaigned against it during the SSM referendum. I was so angered when the referendum had passed.
It wasn’t until I met a young gay couple my opinion changed. They had adopted a child and attended mass, I could see the passion, love and caring attitude the both had. I then attended a workshop for LGBT people and I never understood how much pain and suffering the church had caused.
I fully believe that God had created them that way, and who are we to say they can’t get married. I’ve had the opportunity to meet many fantastic LGBT couples who do deserve the right and opportunity to get married.

Like

Fr AC you are lost and confused. It is not ‘we’ who say they cannot marry, it is God. With all the best will in the world you are sadly very misguided. Oh I met a mass murderer and sure God love him didn’t he go to mass everyday and sure wasn’t he very good to his mother; I think we’ll let him babysit the kids. Oh that paedo man that lives up the road has kids of his own and sure isn’t he a great man for the rosary and I went to a workshop and met a group of paedophiles and now I understand their hurt. Let’s be all accepting of them. Ah sure the dog comes to mass with me every Sunday and sure wasn’t he created by God, let’s give him communion. Ah sure the uncle who abused me is a lovely fella altogether, he broke down crying when I confronted him years later, I won’t bother going to the cops. Ah sure he’s an awful man, he beats the wife day in day out but sure I went to a workshop and the guys told me the wife’s do be goading them hence their violence, I felt sorry for them, let’s give them an award. Oh I met Rosemary and Fred West, Ian and Myra Hindley, they told me they enjoyed what they did and were only sorry they got caught, but sure they were created in God’s image and I’ve since met other people who defy God, but that’s ok, I allow my emotions to change everything. I’m very easily led Yano. I could go to a workshop with satanists, ISIS, Boko Haram, and everything my faith implicitly teaches would be wiped because, well, sure God love em aren’t they great.

I thought 9.56 was a response to 1.11 then I got to the punch line.

Even IF they weren’t “made that way” there is no excuse whatsoever for us to claim to interfere with their habitus. We indeed can’t change the circumstances that shaped us. Note Holy Roman Mother doesn’t promulgate belief.

There is a world of difference between a blessing from Bp Pat and a blessing from Rome (whose size amplifies any errors in theology) – whatever their stances.

Parish priest marries two women

Sant’Oreste – Priest marries two women, the diocese of Civita Castellana: “Don Emanuele Moscatelli has resigned spontaneously, he will go to a spiritual retreat”.

Don Emanuele Moscatelli, originally from Bassano Romano, is the parish priest of Sant’Oreste. The municipality is in the province of Rome but is not far from Tuscia, so much so that the parish is part of the diocese of Civita Castellana.

On 11 July the priest wore the mayor’s belt and, in the town hall, civilly united two of his friends : Francesca, 38, and Beatrice, 50.

“After the ceremony – explains the bishop of Civita Castellana, Romano Rossi, at the Adnkronos – I called him, we reasoned together and he understood the inappropriate nature of the gesture. The parish priest is a free citizen but there is a canon that prevents priests from officiating civil ceremonies, regardless of who gets married. But there is dialogue in the Church and so I did with Don Emanuele. We talked for a long time, it was not an authority decision. He did not incur any censorship, he decided autonomously that it was appropriate to resign “.

From the diocese of Civita Castellana they add: “Don Emanuele – reports Ansa – spontaneously resigned as parish priest of Sant’Oreste and bishop Romano Rossi assures that from next Sunday they will have a new parish priest. Don Emanuele will go on a spiritual retreat for reflection and verification “. After that, says Bishop Rossi, “he cannot be a parish priest in Sant’Oreste but once clarified certain things he can do everything. When the time comes. ”

From the Gay Center to Arcigay in Rome, the LGBT organizations have made a square around Don Emanuele. “In Sant’Oreste – says Arcigay Rome – a parish priest married two women in an official capacity, with the official delegation of the mayor Valentina Pini. This is the Italy we like, a sign of change, inclusion, openness and equality “.

The first citizen Pina reconstructed what happened as follows: “The parish priest asked me to be able to have the delegation to marry the two women because it is the prerogative of the mayor to grant her and, in the desire not to infringe anyone’s rights, I gave it to him. The ceremony took place jointly. Having some confidence with the parish priest, I also said to evaluate the opportunity of this ceremony. Here’s how things went. I don’t know if they did it religiously or out of friendship. I only granted the delegation in the will not to harm anyone’s rights “.

That’s at the start and then it gets extended. Remember that the 1967 Abortion Act was supposed to deal with a handful of hard cases. Now it’s abortion on demand. Similarly, in Ireland the pro-abortions said that abortion would be rare. Now 10% of Irish pregnancies end in abortion.

And a bandwagon of anybody taking the R c to court for breach of human rights would be a bad thing?
The Lord works in mysterious ways does he not?
Remember, Christ’s incarnation was timed, primed even. The timing had to be just right when He entered humanity, and when He came down He was essentially coming down to our level and meeting us halfway, if that makes sense.
And at the time of His beautiful intervention we were still stuck in our ways, but he turned all that upside down on its head.
He preached love and acceptance, He broke down barriers of political divide (or at least made his views clear in this respect in attempt to love and peace).
When the time is right, the time is right.
If two women or two men want to express their love before the Community then I believe we should be happy that people are wanting to express their love for one another. The more love there is in the world the less unhappiness there is…
Is this not right?
Would it not be madness to fight…?
We become one…
I can’t get no sleep…

Broken bottles under children’s feet
Issues strewn, strewn all about
Issues ignored and shoved under the carpet.
Vulnerable person’s C.I.D. officers screaming and shouting at victims of Catholic clerical abuse whilst holding on to a file full of evidence… What is going on?? What on earth is going on? ?
But I won’t heed the call
It puts our backs up
Puts our backs up against the wall
What a bloody day this is for us…
And the facts and truths have been established, long ago.
There’s many lost, ignored, but tell me who has won? Who has won? ?
The trench is dug within our hearts
And mothers, children, brothers, sisters torn apart by clerical abuse and it’s being covered up. It’s bad enough the Church covering up abuse, but the British establishment covering up clerical abuse would be far worse, if true… I hope it is not true, always give benefit of doubt…
What a bloody day we are having, today.
How long?
How long must we sing this from this hymn sheet?
Wipe the tears from your eyes
Wipe your tears away
Oh, wipe your tears away
I’ll, wipe your tears away…
What a bloody mess this is, how will they fix this…
I’ll, wipe your eyes.
Is it true we are immune? Or is this the impression we want them to have…
Are we immune?…
When fact is fiction and TV reality
And today the some cry
We eat and drink while tomorrow they are filled with love, amazing love and peace which makes the world a beautiful place.
The real battle of spreading the love has begun, the Gospel is love and we must spread the Gospel and spread the love therein.
Spreading the love, spreading the love and having fun.

See here’s the thing. The police aren’t helpful generally but particularly not so when it comes to abuse. If the abuse is of an adult they will not be interested. I remember often feeling suicidal in the year after leaving religious life so you’re not reacting disproportionately or not coping.
There are a few things you can do here (and it will help if you are living in poverty).
1. See if you can get a pro bono solicitor to take a civil case. Don’t despair if they tell you there’s no hope because that will realistically reflect the chances of getting anywhere with this – the proportion of abuse cases which get anywhere is vanishingly small.
2. The standard reaction of the church is to try to make you look bad – if they do that you have the satisfaction of knowing you’ve hit the nail on the head.
3. Look after your mental health and be prepared for the onslaught of mixed emotions. If you have real genuine friends this is the time to access them. If you kill yourself you’ve given them what they want – I’m not even joking.
3. Pat Buckley is well acquainted with this situation and can give you sensible advice. Unfortunately there is a lack of support for the many people in your situation because there’s no money in it.
4. A stressful option is to go public. I would not suggest this unless you are penniless – there’s literally no point suing you if you have nothing, and of course take legal advice first. You may decide that a trial for libel would be what it takes to establish your situation.
5. Finally the best revenge is to live and live well. Your mere existence is an affront to the church from now on – has it struck you that they may be frightened of you and as long as you are alive they can never be sure you won’t do something? It is also very likely your abuser has done this to other people – these cases end when one person gets a case into a court and the whole pack of cards collapses. My own abuser has only been reported to the police for coercive sex with adults, but it is only a matter of time before a victim under 18 comes forward.
