THIS BLOG IS ANTI HYPOCRISY AND NOT ANTI GAY.

A small number of lying, guilty and disingenuous priests, seminarians and monks have tried to claim that this blog and it’s author is anti gay 🤣

The facts prove absolutely differently.

I have been an openly gay man who has been public about himself for nearly a quarter of a century.

I am in a publicly celebrated gay relationship and civil partnership for over 13 years.

I have conducted gay and lesbian blessings and religious marriages internationally for the past 34 years.

I have conducted spirituality events for the gay community at various times including at gay pride in Dublin and Belfast.

I have rescued gay and lesbian individuals from the steps and driveways of their family homes after being disowned by their families. On one such occasion I was threatened with a shotgun by the gay person’s father.

When the HIV / AIDS virus was at it’s very worst I ministered on a daily basis to those suffering, dying people at Belvoir Hospital in Belfast and afterwards comforted their partners, family and friends – some of whom keep in touch and visit me to this day.

One one occasion I travelled from Larne to Woking to visit a young man, at his request, from my Belfast youth club days who was dying of AIDS and who had very bad Kaposi’s sarcoma (KS) and invited him to come to my home to live and be nursed and cared for. He died before we got him to Larne.

Currently I minister to several people including a priest who is hiv+ and a priest who has gender dysphoria.

HYPOCRISY

I do not want to see the priesthood 100% homosexualised.

It has nothing to do with gay people.

It has to do with a gay cabal after the fashion of Ted McCarrrick, taking over the priesthood.

It is also about monks and priests taking public vows of chastity and celibacy and flouting those vows promiscuously in private.

This us not a gay issue.

It’s a hypocrisy issue.

And this priestly gay cabal is trying to use ordinary, decent gays into thinking it’s a gay issue.

FATHER MARSDEN CONTINUES TO PUSH HIS CRAZY BELIEFS.

Is DAVID MARSDEN more to be pitied than laughed at?

That might be the truth if his crazy beliefs were not being taken in by vulnerable Catholics.

He talks about a Christian Anthropology. I think some very experienced anthropologist needs to study a man with a strong Liverpool accent believing in 16th century theology / man made doctrine.

He traces the current crisis back to artificial contraception.

Obviously, Marsden has swallowed the old RC doctrine that sex could only be engaged in by validly married Cathbots using their bits to populate the world with mini Cathbots.

He totally ignores the very valid moral theology that acknowledges that the sexual act expresses the bond of love between two people.

Marsden is denying that the sexual act between two loving and committed men or women expresses love and companionship and in that sense is pleasing to God.

“Wherever there is love, there is God”.

We know from his Maynooth and Oscott days that Marsden has a massive problem with homosexuality.

The problem with sex between seminarians, priests and monks is not the sex part – it’s about the hypocrisy between men publicly professing chastity and celibacy and in private having the sex lives of rabbits on Viagra.

Sexually active gay priests, monks and seminarians accuse this blog of homophobia – which is total nonsense.

I am a publicly professed gay man. I am in a gay partnership for 23 years.

I have been celebrating gay and lesbian blessings for 34 years.

I have and do minister to LGTB persons in all kinds of situations.

I support LGBT charities.

But what I do object to is clerical, religious and seminarian hypocrisy.

Gay men making public promises of chastity and celibacy and yet having secret gay lives in saunas, toilets, truck stops etc.

I wish Marsden would get over his sex obsession and concentrate on all the hypocrisy of all kinds in the RCC.

10 Points to Ponder as 2020 draws to a close …😆😜

  1. The dumbest thing I ever bought was a 2020 planner.
  2. 2019: Stay away from negative people. 2020: Stay away from positive people.
  3. The world has turned upside down. Old folks are sneaking out of the house & their kids are yelling at them to stay indoors!
  4. This morning I saw a neighbour talking to her cat. It was obvious she thought her cat understood her. I came to my house & told my dog…. We had a good laugh.
  5. Every few days try your jeans on just to make sure they fit. Pyjamas will have you believe all is well in the kingdom.
  6. Does anyone know if we can take showers yet or should we just keep washing our hands?
  7. I never thought the comment, “I wouldn’t touch him/her with a 6-foot pole” would become a national policy, but here we are!
  8. I need to practice social-distancing ….from the refrigerator.
  9. I hope the weather is good tomorrow for my trip out to the bins!
  10. Never in a million years could I have imagined I would go into a bank with a mask on and ask for money.🤣🤣

DERMOT FARRELL GOES TO DUBLIN.

Dermot Farrell

After 16 years of a media archbishop the arrival of a quiet “country cousin” is certainly different.

But will it make any difference?

The Irish nation is no longer a confessional Roman Catholic nation and in fact is, justifiably, anti-Catholic and anti-clerical.

In a few days time the Three Wise Men will bring their gold, frankincense and myrrh.

What will Wise Man Farrell bring with him to Dublin?

The “gold’ of Roman Catholic doctrine?

The “frankincense” of hierarchy and clericalism?

The “myrrh” of patriarchy, misogyny and the antediluvianism of an institution that is of total irrelevance to the 21st century Ireland.

The Dublin diocese has two major problems facing it:

1. The massive rift between the archbishop and the clergy created by Diarmuid Martin’s unwillingness and inability to treat the Dublin priests as brothers and fellow workers.

2. The massive financial crisis left by Diarmuid in spite of the GAA millions.

The priests of Meath and Ossory will tell us if Farrell is a good or bad manager of monies.

As time goes by the priests of Dublin will tell us if Farrell heals the rift that has lasted for 16 years.

Farrell nay be a “nice man”? I have never met him and don’t know.

Nice is certainly better than nothing.

The question is: “Will nice be enough”?

I think that like all other Irish RC bishops, Farrell will continue to simply manage decline.

He is a company man.

I was amused by a comment yesterday:

“If there room for an Audi and a dining room table where nothing of substance is ever talked about, then Dermot will be happy”.

That what happens when the Kingdom of God is reduced to an institution.

“There is neither priest nor prophet to ply his trade in the land”.

How free and wonderful it is not to be a part of it.

RICHARD PURCELL – BY FATHER BRUNO – DUBLIN CORRESPONDENT.

Richard Purcell

1. Financial Access

The assets of the individual Cistercian houses are very significant.the abbot, in a house of old men, would have great temptations and access to the cheque books.

2. Appointments:

A. Purcell is on the Conference of Bishop’s Liturgical Commission eg: regular trips to Maynooth, overnights etc.

At a conference to mark the 50th anniversary of Sacrosanctum Concilium in the presence of Any Martin, he showed how clever he is by giving a critique of the state of church music ending his presentation with the following quote:

Seeing as each diocese is required to have a child protection officer, maybe we should require each diocese to have a music protection officer”.

Ha! Ha! What a joker!!!

B. His role on behalf of CORI in “TOWARD HEALING” is very troubling. He has no qualifications whatsoever.

One of their stated aims is to provide retreats / spiritual direction for adults who experienced abuse. That is for adults who may be very vulnerable in a church controlled residential setting such as a guest house.

Please highlight this risk as CORI’s credibility is at stake.

3. The Cistercian Generalate is suppressing / closing monasteries world wide at speed.

The assets of the Irish houses could all come under the “fraternal care” of this young abbot.

4. Towards Healing appears to have very close links with current and ex staff of St Luke’s which has worked with offending clerics for many years.

Why does Fr Hugh Lagan SMA not list his employment with St Luke’s on the Towards Healing website as he is a director of this CORI organisation. Conflict of interest?

Hugh Lagan

He also runs a road show for CORI for novices and junior religious in sexuality and abuse issues.

He spouts the St Luke’s expertise and was trained in psychology at Boston College for St. Luke’s.

5. Your favourite clerical psychologist David Marsden, who traded on his Gregorian University Licence in psychology, is now completing his doctorate in Rome, advertising himself as being employed as a psychologist in Maynooth and a UK seminary, prior to his current studies.

David Marsden

He was not a psychologist in Maynooth but a Vocation Growth Counsellor and no more.

He is very linked with the THEOLOGY OF THE BODY gang in the USA.

In the summer he gave a virtual conference on “THE VIRGIN MARY AND MARILYN MUNROE” in which he explained that one was an abused addict and the other the most beautiful woman in history.

6. Please find the Youtube of Richard Purcell milking the cow. It’s on the RTE broadcast from Roscrea.

7. Where is the hermit Father Jonos? Is his safety guaranteed?

Okolo all alone waiting for the ex arch and new arch.

FROM OUR DUBLIN PRIEST CORRESPONDENT.

1. Will Coddle have a final press conference and inform us:

a. What on earth happened with the GAA deal – that would have required Rome approval?

b. What will his job be in the Dicastery for Media / Communications when his health improves under the Roman sky. Ever hopeful when Papa Sodano is finished!

c. If he is moving into a house at Aughrim Street will it be:

1. One of the three two bed curates houses?

2. The 6 bed parish priest’s house with 0.7 acres of mature parkland up the driveway. Nearly as grand as the nuncio’s!!!

d. How many people did he and his former chancellor and lawyers tie into secret non-disclosure deals in settling Dublin CSA cases out of court?

e. Why does he send his seminarian to the Dominican Studium in Diblin for his formation?

PAT SAYS

Personally, I was surprised to discover that Dermo was retiring to a Dublin property and not to a Roman one.

I imagine he will travel to Rome a lot.

The GAA deal was a great deal for the GAA and a bad one for Dublin.

What happened?

I cannot see Dermo having any role in a Roman dicastery.

With Covid there are many places to send seminarians.

Did Dermo do out of court deals with victims?

FATHER MC GILLOWAY – LETTER FROM ARCHBISHOP OF ANCHORAGE – JUNEAU.

COMMENT FROM ALASKA

“Hello from Alaska — Wild times! Thank you for pressing the issue ~ I expect no acknowledgement would’ve come without the aid of your visibility. We were informed of the letter being read but do not attend the parish ~ curious, no streaming was permitted during the weekend Masses in which the Vicar General appeared from stage left and proclaimed it. The Jesuit surveillance state reigns”.

Someone sent my blog about Father McGilloway to the office of the archbishop of Anchorage and Juneau.

The local Catholics had been completely ignored by the archbishop.

But thanks to the blog they now know there was an investigation.

But was that invitation independent and thorough?

I always worry when a complaint against a priest is handled inhouse – by a bishop and another priest.

We are rightly suspect because if the culture of cover up in the RCC.

The questions that remain:

1. Under what circumstances did Fr McGilloway leave Glenstal – a monstery with serious concerns hanging over it’s head?

2. Did former Abbot Hederman give a reference?

As things are always clouded in secrecy in the RCC we can never be comfortable about what they say and claim.

After all the lies and corruption my default position is to presume that bishops and priests are lying when they speak.

Sometimes they call their lies “mental reservation” 😁

CHRISTMAS DAY 2020.

THE ORATORY CHRISTMAS 2020

As far as I’m concerned there is only one topic worth discussing on Christmas Day – Jesus and His birth.

In that sense, lets concentrate on Jesus and His Kingdom today – and not how anyone has betrayed him and it.

We have a very dark year – Covid, right wing conspiracy theories, the denial of democracy, etc, etc.

The Covid vaccine is a looming light, thank God.

But Jesus is the REAL and LASTING light.

So today lets concentrate on Jesus.

Let’s also concentrate on our loved ones.

I wish you all a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS.

Shocked Catholic Church leaders claim they have no knowledge of transactions

Senior Catholic Church leaders have expressed shock over explosive revelations the Vatican has secretly transferred $2.3billion to Australia in the last six years, claiming they haven’t seen a cent of the money.

Figures released by Australian financial crime regulator Austrac have revealed more than 400,000 transactions have been made since 2014, sparking an Australian Federal Police investigati

Transfers from the Vatican to Australia rose from $71.6m in 2014 to $137.1m in 2015 before doubling again to $295m in 2016 and peaking at $581.3m in 2017.

More than $422m was transferred in 2018, an additional $491.8m in 2019 and $294.8m this financial year to date, The Australian reported.

An investigation into $2.3billion of secret transactions from The Vatican to Australia continues.

The individual recipients of the transactions haven’t been disclosed.

Australian Federal Police confirmed it continues to investigate information from Austrac about the Vatican’s transactions to Australia.

Several senior Catholic Church figures, who declined to be named, were stunned to hear about the transferred funds, claiming to the publication they had no knowledge or received a single cent.

The Austrac figures also revealed $117.4m was sent from Australia to the Vatican since 2014, including $7.5million to date in 2020

The transactions were disclosed in response to questions from federal Liberal senator Concetta Fierravanti-Wells.

‘In the light of the investigations at the Vatican into corruption, embezzlement and money laundering, with charges already being laid and Vatican officials suspended, we need to know where the money went,’ she told The Australian.

The Australian Federal Police is investigating transactions to Australia from the Vatican

Senior Australian Catholic Church leaders claim they haven’t received a cent of the secret transactions from the Vatican.

PAT SAYS

When it comes to RCC scandals it’s either sex or money or both.

It’s interesting that all this money started to go to Australia after Pell became the Vatican money supremo.

I thought countries around the world contributed to the Vatican.

Why would the Vatican be sending money to Australia?

Was it Vatican Bank money laundering or money clearing?

Will we ever know?

CONFRONTING CACKLE DALY – A READER’S QUESTION.

Yesterday a reader wrote:

“Pat, please expand on the Cathal Daly story. Describe how you felt approaching the altar; how Cathal dealt with it and how the parishioners in the pews felt. None of the hierarchy are any good when it’s put up to them in public.

Dear Reader,

At the time I was a young 33-year-old, who still had some faith in the institution – a faith I absolutely no longer have.

I stood in front of Cahal Day as he preached about love, forgiveness and reconciliation and still refusing to meet me or be reconciled with me.

The other two occasions were at Christmas Midnight Mass in the Mater Hospital, Belfast – and at Christian Unity Week in a Belfast parish.

I made sure not to disrupt the Mass in any way.

When Daly started preaching I left the pew, genuflected to the tabernacle and stood in front of him silently and not moving.

I placed myself between him and the congregation as a sign that our disagreement was a fracture on the Body of Christ.

I stared at him all through his homily.

Daly never looked up and kept on reading.

But his face was scarlet and his jugular arteries were doing a co-ordinated dance.

I’m told he lost it in the sacristy and went home like an angry Jack Russell.

At the time Daly was lecturing Catholics and Protestants to be reconciled while refusing to be reconciled with a fellow priest.

From October 1985 until July 1986 I waged a protest campaign on Daly.

He hid in his house sending the clergy letters that I was preventing him do his work.

I also brought him to the Industrial Tribunal and the High Court – where he was forced to sit as a defendant.

Of course, I didn’t win.

These guys have the establishment tipping their caps to them.

But I gave the little Hitler a run for his money.

Daly believed the voice of the bishop was the voice of God.

I once asked him if that meant that when he broke wind, God broke wind🤮

These arrogant bastards lorded it over priests and laity for ages.

More people need to stand up to them.

When you do stand up to them, they fold like all challenged bullies fold.
