THE BACKLASH FROM MEGHAN AND HARRY OPRAH INTERVIEW.

The strong views of Jim Duffy of Dublin on Facebook. (With permission)

“Oh dear. Yet another Meghan lie. She was a fanatic about Harry’s mother while claiming she had never heard of Harry before meeting him and having no interest in the royals.

She also claimed to be a human rights defender yet insisted on wearing earrings given to her by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia after he had had a journalist battered to death, and resented being advised by the palace that it would be politically unwise to wear the earrings and would be criticised.

While insisting that she was not interested in jewellery she famously through a tantrum when told she couldn’t use one of the royal family’s tiaras for her wedding.

The Queen had to intervene to tell her ‘no you cannot’ when she was abusive to staff when they told her she couldn’t wear it. (It cannot be worn because there is a question over ownership.

It was told by the Dowager Empress of Russia in the 1920s. Queen Mary bought it. It was later suggested it wasn’t a personal tiara of the empress but a state one and so not hers to sell. As there is confusion over the origins it isn’t worn.)

Meghan is also a self-proclaimed anti-bullying campaigner, yet was accused of bullying staff at the palace if they couldn’t carry out her often excessive demands. Though a feminist it was female staff who bore the brunt of her tantrums, with her husband privately apologising to staff.

I noticed how Meghan also claimed the couple got married privately days before the public event. It turned out they hadn’t.

I also loved the irony of a couple that demand privacy then telling millions of viewers the sex of their forthcoming child – something she hadn’t told her family.

A lot of people who know her don’t believe what she says, from experience. It is a common feature among those who know her. She was caught out once telling Harry that she loved their Christmas in Balmoral because she never experienced a “family Christmas” where the entire family came together. Harry repeated it in an interview. It then turned out that she had experienced decades of them and her story to Harry was a lie, when photos were leaked of her at them.

She has fallen out with her entire family (mother’s side, father’s side, step-relatives, etc.) She is back speaking with her mother again. Her relatives all say you cannot believe what she says. She is notorious for telling lies. Her ex-husband says the same.

The theme that you cannot trust what she says is repeated by so many people who know her.

PAT SAYS

There has been quite a backlash from the Meghan and Harry interview.

Piers Morgan walked out of his job over his response -or was pushed.

The queen played a blinder with her measured and humble response.

I think all in all Meghan has staged a flop.

Was it worth $ 7 million?

Time will tell?

Will Harry and her last?

Time will also tell?

Dublin — Ireland’s Catholic bishops plan to hold a synod within the next five years to — among other things — hear from people who were raised Catholic but have walked away from the church.
A March 10 statement released after the bishops’ conference virtual general assembly explained that the prelates believe “a synodal pathway leading to a national synod is inviting us to journey together in discernment of what the Holy Spirit is saying to the church in Ireland at this time.”
The bishops said they are “acutely aware of the huge challenges to the Catholic faith” that have emerged during the past 50 years, including the rapid transformation and secularization of society, that have led to a fewer people practicing the faith and a decline in religious vocations.
They also expressed concern for the many people who left the church and “in some cases feel ignored, excluded or forgotten” and that those voices need to be heard.
Since his election in 2013, Pope Francis has said he wanted to breathe fresh life into the concept of synodality articulated at the Second Vatican Council in the 1960s.
A recent document from the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith defined the principle of synodality as “the action of the Spirit in the communion of the Body of Christ and in the missionary journey of the People of God.”
In the Irish context, the process is expected to lead to a national gathering of laypeople, priests, bishops and religious women and men to chart a new pastoral program for the church’s future.
The church leaders acknowledged that “we hear a cry for transparency, greater participation and accountability in the church.”
The process also will especially include the voices of women, the bishops said.
“While many women are very engaged in church life in Ireland, we acknowledge the critical need to honor the contribution of women, to hear their deep concerns, to formally recognize their roles and articulate new models of co-responsibility and leadership involving all laypeople — women and men.
The plan calls for two years of prayer, listening and discernment that will coincide with a nationwide consultative process.
A task force is expected to be established this summer involving laypeople, religious, priests and bishops.
“As we embark on the synodal pathway, we ask for prayers that this may be a time of renewal, reform and new hope for all the people of God in Ireland,” the statement concluded.

Perhaps the bishops could start by having a read of this blog and tell their sheep to stop screaming’lies’at the people here.
No, wait, this is RC bishops we’re talking about, everything is spin and they’re only interested in themselves.
If they claim not to be aware of what is driving people from their churches it just shows they don’t listen.

What ever happened, following all the “listening sessions,” in various dioceses?

All fall on deaf ears? When will the SHEEPLE wake up! BaaBaaBaa

So, at least five more years of serious cover ups to look forward to before a holy huddle
rump is left, having discerned where the Holy Spirit is leading the Church?

Two years of prayer ;..let me see….who is likely to have retired or died…or what state will the global Church be in by then…and who will be captain of the Ship?

What’s the betting, the usual suspects will be the taskforce storm troopers!

relevant to both Ireland and Great Britain:
– abandon “priest forever” concept
– abandon transubstantiation which doesn’t equate to Real Presence
– stop outsourcing core Christian / church life to new movements or “orders”
– reintroduce prayer and belief
– break with Rome (because it ditched subsidiarity) and see if Ambassador Okolo minds (he is only there on City State business and not to run a church)
The over 18s (and under 18s who are only awaiting their time) are intelligent and have known all along it didn’t add up.

What a load of tripe, no we wont be abandoning our beliefs to suit the likes of you. I suggest you spend some time in front of The Tabernacle in the company of The Real Presence in reparation for your erroneous and sinful views. May Jesus in The Most Holy Sacrament of The Altar have mercy on you.

Like

Thank you. And also with you. The Real Presence = The Most Holy Sacrament of The Altar = more closely resembles consubstantiation, simply because Jesus wouldn’t want it to stop being bread and wine even while it was Him.

This synod will be about THEIR rehabilitation in the Irish psyche, but not as servanys: as overlords.
Forget about it bishops; you are totally irrelevant to the vast majority of Irish people now. You and YOUR God.

Consubstantiation is the Lutheran heresy that The Bread and Wine co-exists with the body and blood of Our Lord. Transubstantiation is that the Bread and Wine is the actual Body and Blood of Our Lord which is the truth. The Blessed Sacrament is The Body,Blood,Soul and Divinity of Our Lord and therefore is The Real Presence.

It’s not just Meghan, Bp Pat; I also think there’s something amiss with Harry as well. He and his brother were both spoilt when they were young, but, thankfully, William has turned out okay in the end (praise the Lord). But Harry and Meghan?? They are a walking disaster.

All this “Harry, Meghan and Archie (and the bun in the oven) will always be much loved family members” stuff cuts no ice, Bp Pat. And even if they are, there is no way they can be rehabilitated back into the royal family; most of the country wouldn’t tolerate it.

Diana’s brother Charles Spencer attended their wedding but was not in any official photographs afterwards because Harry had fallen out with him over ten years ago. Harry and Meghan have a lot in common were falling out with friends and family are concerned.

Yes, there are worrying indicators as to Meghan’s connection with reality, as well as an underlying self-absorbtion and self-importance. She’s a very good actor, and that whole interview was very well planned and prepared for. It will not have been done in long takes, and will have been re-taken and expertly edited. Meghan is, sadly, trouble. That is why I have some sympathy for Harry, who has been completely taken in by her, but is one day going to be in for a rude awakening. Meghan will want to move on at some stage. She will dump him. That’s what they do in those circles in the US in which she moves. It will all be about her. What of him then ? He has rather stupidly allowed himself to pretty comprehensively burning his bridges with his own family, and even though there might be expressions of them still being much loved members of the family, the reality will be that the Royal Family and those around them are seething. Revenge is a dish served cold, and he will not be allowed back in. So, what happens when Meghan has done a runner, and he is left out in the cold ? He will definitely understand what he has done then, and what the costs of it are. The main thing in my mind is this: What possessed him to agree to an interview like this in which all their dirty washing was put out in to the public domain, even if he was angry and resentful about some things ? Because the most egregious and hurtful misstep he has taken is to have piled a load of shite on to the lap of his grandmother, 94 years old with a almost 100 year old husband in hospital. Why would you do that, even if you were pissed off a bit ? It’s very immature and irresponsible behaviour, for which he will pay dearly.

Excellent analysis.
Harry has got his wife’s back, and I admire him for this. But I suspect that his wife is a prima donna.

I think both Harry and Meghan will regret allowing their lives to be so publicly scrutinised and shredded to pieces. They already carry huge baggage and this will break them eventually. There is something not quite right with this marriage. There are very different backgrounds, cultural and societal expectations placed on both of them that will become irreconcilable in time. Meghan seems to be estranged from her can’t, sadly: now Harry is isolated from his. This very public relationship with its strange, unseemly dynamics is benefiting just one group, TV and newspaper moguls and no amount of millions given by the Oprah billionaire corporation will ensure their happiness. They are now forever public property by their choice alone. This couple should go to a therapy spa for months!

The tiara Meghan demanded to wear at her wedding to Prince Harry previously belonged to the wife of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich of Russia. The Grand Duchess Vladimir Tiara was bought by Queen Mary from Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna of Russia, mother of the Duchess of Kent, in 1921 for a price of £28,000.

JPII was quite compromised when Marciel gave him the money.

he was respected within the Church as “the greatest fundraiser of the modern Roman Catholic church” and as a prolific recruiter of new seminarians.[1] Late in his life, Maciel was revealed to have been a long time drug addict who sexually abused many boys and young men in his care. After his death, it came to light that he had also maintained sexual relationships with at least four women, one of whom was a minor at the time. He fathered as many as six children, two of whom he is alleged to have abused.[2][3].
at least 60 boys abused by its founder, Father Marcial Maciel, a report by the group revealed.

Maciel, who died in 2008, was perhaps the Roman Catholic Church’s most notorious paedophile, even abusing children he had fathered secretly with at least two women while living a double life and being feted by the Vatican and church conservatives.

One cardinal supported Marciel throughout the life of Marciel.

Which was worse Marciel or Carrick? Both v wealthy benefactors and huge donator to rcc.

Secondly, after Maciel’s sexual abuse of minors and after his treatment of the women who bore his children, and his abuse of truth, for someone to support his actions is most definitely a fake traditionalist – to roil the progressives and all objective fair minded observers.

The Catholic Church is in free fall and will continue to fall because of systemic, root and branch corruption- the institution corrupts – like the Bible says Bad Company Corrupts Good Character – it’s like Dante’s Circles of Hell – the closer to the centre (bishops, priests, deacons) the deeper the darkness – Cardinals are masters of the dark arts (concealment, obsfuscation, lovers of money, predominantly homosexual, many active).
The reason the Catholic Church is opposed to Freemasonry is because they are the Freemasons par excellence. Like the Royal Family the corruption runs deep and to the core. Maciel Macial, McCarrick, Trujillo, O’Brien. Marcinkus, Calvi, Ratzinger, Nichols, Tobin, Paul VI, Pope John Paul II.
Corrupt and Corrupting – since the days of Judas Iscariot and Constantine the war has raged – their weapons – predatory homosexuality, paedophilia, love of money and the abuse of power.
The gates of hell have been opened wide but they won’t prevail but my O my do they try and they are they deeply embedded.
The laity are like sheep to the slaughter for they do not open their mouths!!

I’m not a sedevacanist, right wing or even a Cathbot – just an observer of the unfolding events of history – it would be hard to deny that as institutions go the Catholic Church is riddled with corruption at a systemic level – sexual and financial – the sexual is especially egregious because of the abuse of children, which is so corrupt that Jesus referred to a millstone around ones neck and thrown into the sea than to be guilty of this kind of corrupt act – how greater then the cover up and enabling of such darkness – I believe in reform and renewal but it is possible that rather like a cancer patient the metastasis has gone too far, the patient is riddled, the disease runs too deep, surgery isn’t an option and neither is chemotherapy – palliative and end of life care is the only right course of action!!

Matthew 12:22-37
(New King James Version)
A House Divided Cannot Stand

22 Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the [a]blind and mute man both spoke and saw. 23 And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”

24 Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by [b]Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? 27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29 Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. 30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.
