EAMON MARTIN NEEDS EVIDENCE OF WRONGDOING BY PRIESTS OR SEMINARIANS.

Recently, I and several others, have written to Archbishop Eamon Martin of Armagh with concerns about homosexual wrongdoing by priests and seminarians associated with Armagh.

Eamon replied, as seen above, saying that he needs evidence in order to tackle these matters and he wants anyone who has such evidence to send it to the appropriate ecclesiastical and/or civil authorities.

In the case of Armagh, Archbishop Eamon is the appropriate ecclesiastical authority.

I believe that Eamon Martin is 100% sincere in his request for evidence.

Without evidence he cannot challenge individuals whose initial response will be to deny everything.

According to a Cloyne priest contacted last night, to his dying day Fr Michael Lomasney denied that he had sex on the altar of his parish church in Kildorrey and refused to give the name of his accomplice, reported to have been a seminarian.

Fr Lomasney
Seminarian on altar receiving fellatio from Fr Lomasney?

When diocesan priests and seminarians engage in consensual acts they are breaking no civil law and it would be ludicrous to report the matter to the PSNI or Garda.

Thank God consensual homosexual acts are no longer illegal and never should have been in the first place.

However things are very different inntge ecclesiastical field.

The Roman Catholic Church regards all sexual acts outside the valid marriage of one man and one woman to be a sin – a crime against God and His church.

This includes the act of masturbation.

A priest or religious is further required by church law and doctrine to be celibate and chaste.

A diocesan priest having sex is breaking his promise of celibacy. A religious having sex is offending against his solemn vow of chastity.

A seminarian, until diaconate, has no promise of celibacy but is still bound by church teaching on chastity and is expected to be practising sexual continence from the day he enters seminary.

It is ludicrous to think that a seminarian can be sexually active right up until the moment of his ordination as a deacon and from just after the ceremony he can be celibate and chaste.

As my wise dad used to say: “If you are used to wearing shoes, its hard to go in your bare feet”.

A sexually active seminarian will find it nigh impossible to be sexually continent after his ordination. A lecherous seminarian will be a lecherous priest.

So, can anyone with evidence please sent it to Archbishop Martin on admin@aracoeli.com.

You can also post it to him.

Keep a copy for your records

If you want, you can cc me at bishopbuckley1@outlook.com

If you have evidence and do not share it with Archbishop Martin you are allowing individuals to bring the church into disrepute and perhaps allowing innocent young men to be badly damaged down the line.

I have tried for a long time to inform you that Archbishops, bishops and the Papal Nuncio needs evidence and that is due to Canon law.
The clerical club will stand by each other and leave the Bishop looking like a fool.
No Bishop wants these guys in their dioceses it is problems now or in the future.

The rules are the rules and if you cannot abide leave NOW.

I will get accused now of being a shareholder in An Post or Royal Mail but all I have been asking for is proof so now hopefully Bishop Pat will understand Canon Law requires proof.

This is not about money this is about the seriousness of their TRUE vocation.

Gosh first time I’ve read about the sacrilegious activities of Lomasney. There are some sick sexual perverts among the RC clergy. It is totally f***ed up. I feel sorry for the good priests as as soon as they appear in public wearing their clerical garb people must assume they are nonces. Ireland needs a purge of the perverts from within the clergy and I hope + Martin has then returned to the lay state with no access to church funds.

Not just in Armagh any Dioceses would be most grateful for evidence.

Pope Francis has said they are or become like a mortgage on the Church remember it is the laity who pays for the Church with their donations.

I would like to think Religious Communities would be the same.

Hi +Pat,
regarding the sexual act on an Altar – please refer to the Sexual Offenses Act 2017. (A similar act preceded this).
Section 45. Exposure, offensive conduct of sexual nature
(1) A person who exposes his or her genitals intending to cause fear, distress or alarm to another person is guilty of an offence.
(2) A person who, in a public place, engages in—
(a) sexual intercourse,
(b) an act of buggery, or
(c) an act of masturbation,
is guilty of an offence.
(3) A person who intentionally engages in offensive conduct of a sexual nature is guilty of an offence.

(6) In this section—
“offensive conduct of a sexual nature” means any behaviour of a sexual nature which, having regard to all the circumstances, is likely to cause fear, distress or alarm to any person who is, or might reasonably be expected to be, aware of any such behaviour;
“public place” means any place to which the public have access whether as of right or by permission and whether subject to or free of charge
… We can say nothing about Fr Lomasney (RIP) as he cannot defend himself. If you have evidence against the other person then it should be forwarded to the local Garda Station.

I think you will find the definition of a public place would not be met by a presumably locked church at the time of the act, even if it is open to the public at other times.

Like

Is the identity of the culprits proven? Has the possibility of a faked photo been ruled out?

Like

That is an interpretation best left to the courts. The definition in the Act does not exclude times when the public place is locked. These things are best handed over to the appropriate agencies.

I don’t understand the Archbishop telling you to take evidence to the ecclesiastical authorities. Isn’t he an ecclesiastical authority. It would be like if you went to Larne police station to report a crime and they said, “I suggest you take it up with the cops”.

I think you will find that Bishop Pat will publish his email in his own good time. I am sure that Archbishop Martin will have been speaking to the individuals concerned, but a complaint cannot be made by a third party if it is to be investigated by the competent authority. Archbishop Martin, and indeed no ecclesiastical or civil body, can proceed with an investigation unless an injured party comes forward. I do not think that Archbishop Martin will try and cover this up. If no injured part comes forward, he will be hoping that the concerned persons will have the integrity to leave, which of course they won’t. It will require the full force of Bishop Pat’s to be used. Bishop Pat will go public with his evidence when the time is right. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I think of there is any evidence of sexual immortality the priest would be ‘invited’ to attend for an psychological evaluation at the St Luke’s institute in the US or Manchester. The recommendation would generally be 6 months residential therapy followed by ongoing supervision. Any self respecting cleric, especially if young enough, would get out and find a new way of life.

On the altar though – seriously- was it/is it an altar in a parish church? Was the priest the parish priest? What was the seminarian doing there (apart from being shafted on the altar). Is the altar recogizable? Is the arse? What’s with the blue tights? So many unanswered questions?
And who took the photograph and ate there any more – or a video, that would be even better.
Thing is there’s evidence but Amy knows full where there’s also (often) insufficient evidence – my God though shagging on the altar – scandalous, sacrilegious, blasphemous, offensive, oh yes and demonic.

They all look out for each other. The old nonce and canon lawyer, Fr Tom Wood, hosted two archbishops mates of his for Mass and lunch in his parish. He was later busted for extreme kiddie porn and conversations describing the perverted things he would like to do to children. The homilist was also a good mate of his and is now on the formation team at Oscott Seminary. The cancer runs deep through most presbyterates. Coincidentally another canonist of the Archdiocese fondled a sleeping male house guest. http://www.liverpoolcatholic.org.uk/index.php?p=259

Sounds to me that Wood was a very lucky man not to have ended up in jail.

The Judge’s comments sound a bit Old Boys’ Club – essentially saying Wood was a good egg really, and that this was just a little aberration. Mmmmm ? I’m not so sure. Again, he was very lucky not to get a jail sentence. Remember, in order for him to watch those videos of children being raped, a child had to be raped ! He may claim to be a few steps removed form the actuality, but it is people like him that encourage the market for this kind of thing. So where is Wood now ? Housed and financed by the Archdiocese of Liverpool ? Because, really he is such a top bloke….?!

I was a seminarian in the parish Tom Wood left, in Liverpool; I was there in Spring of 2018 when the news broke – this was around 11 months after after Tom’s departure. I was horrified. He was a Canon Lawyer for our Archdiocese.
I had been working in the schools and got on well with staff, parishioners and parents – I literally did not know where to put my face when the new broke, it felt awful and awkward for myself and the staff with the kids families.
The Archdiocese of Liverpool Safeguarding only told the headmistress and Headmaster the severity of Tom’s crimes the day before the papers published.
Everybody in the school, even the dinner ladies, were distraught.
The damage is very real and painful for all, and such an horrendous breach of trust where kids are involved is absolutely unforgivable.
———
One of a few things I noticed at the presbytery was there were perimeter PIRs around the grounds which would make a buzzer go off in the house if there was movement or anybody approaching the house, and the kitchen was like All white a d immaculate like an operating theatre.
Tom had a wooden but made built outside and told the parishioners they couldn’t use the toilet in the utility room which was literally next to the sacristy.
Grant allowed them to use the utilty room and dining room when he got there though.
Fancy making an old lady use an outside toilet in a wooden hut! That’s disgraceful x

Gosh Wood’s domestic arrangements sound like something out of Silence of the Lambs. He would host frequent dinner parties for his clerical mates – did none of them not sense anything deeply disturbing about him?

Dear Bishop Pat, I would like to know your views on ‘clericalism’. I understand clericalism to be a state of mind rather than a state of dress (“Victorian clergymen”). Clericalism in my view is about those embalmed on the palms of their hands behaving like prime ministers of their parishes instead of being pastors.

Like

Clericalism is the Boys club I see it every day and it is worse than the Masonic Lodge.
Parish Priests should not be running parishes it is very clear pastoral teams should be in place in every parish.
Some Good Bishops have pastoral areas where a group of clergy are responsible for the Sacraments.
Clergy are ordained for the Sacraments not to be hall keeper, plumbers and so on.

I am bemused to see that Archbishop Martin refers to you as “Bishop Pat Buckley”. How interesting!
Of course, Fr. Lomasney denied the allegation made against him. He was hardly going to admit his actions to Bishop Crean, an ignorant thicko from Kerry with a temper, who, I have on good authority from a sound priest from Kerry was the third choice for Cloyne. If he had done so, Crean would have no choice but to have him immediately laicised. While we should never speak ill of the dead, I am of the view that his denial had no credibility.
This action is one of the most scandalous and sacrilegious acts I have ever come across. It is every bit as bad and worse than the actions that took place on the altar in New Orleans with a priest and two prostitutes. At least, the Archbishop in New Orleans had the altar burned; a new one installed and, he came personally to consecrate the altar. All this is in the starkest possible contrast to the actions of Crean, who to the best of my knowledge Crean made no public statement. Does any priest from Cloyne know if the altar was reconsecrated?
Archbishop Martin is being completely disingenuous. He really does not want any information about the seminarian, because it is too difficult and he does not want the hassle and aggravation.
No person in their right mind would be able to comprehend why this seminarian is still a student in Maynooth. Why has he not been dismissed? It is legitimate to enquire, who are his protectors? Who else has this seminarian been sexually active with in the past? Do any of these individuals now wear a mitre?

Like

The difference in the New Orleans case was that the participants were visible from outside the church and somebody filmed them from outside. So they did get a criminal prosecution and there was the kind of evidence Eamon is asking for.

Like

Sorry, Pat, I didn’t make clear that I meant the video in Kildorrery was presumably taken from inside the church but what brought them a cropper in the US case was the act was visible from outside. One of the prostitutes also mentioned desecrating an altar on social media.
Who has the Kildorrery video?

There must be as many and, very probably, more priests in heterosexual relationships with women. They are not chased, vilified or judges. Yes, prejudice. All Hail Ye, all hail.

A lot of priests must be laughing behind the backs of the faithful. The Sunday collection and Mass stipends paying for them to take their boyfriends on holiday, or entrance fees to gay saunas, poppers, or for rent boys.

Don’t be fooled, + Armagh is just playing for time, trying to sound as though he’s interested, but anything that is sent to him will disappear down a big hole and be forgotten. And, he will hope that you, having sent him stuff, will forget about it too. It’s from the classic clerical play book of how to avoid dealing with stuff. So, if there is anything that you know about a priest that is criminal or illegal, then bypass the bishop and go to the police or statutory authorities first of all. If it’s about disciplinary stuff, or behaviour unbecoming of a priest (like sexual affairs in contravention of the priest’s publicly stated vows; cruising the local toilets, woods, laybys etc) by all means tell the bishop with the caveat above, but also think of more direct ways of addressing it. Perhaps letting the priest himself know that you know. Perhaps leaving some flyers or pamphlets around the church. Yes, they will huff and puff and threaten all sorts of legal action, but if you are certain of your facts, then you have nothing to fear, because 1. They will not dare to take action because they know you are right or 2. If they do take action, they will lose and it will cost them a lot of money or they will be done for perjury. I did it once many years ago to a priest who was always wandering around a country park cruising for sex, and I actually caught him at it when I was walking my dog with my son. So, we had a conversation a few days later. I’ve never seen him up there again. Sometimes, direct action is the only way. I don’t see any reason to act in a gentlemanly way with priests who delight in trying to fool us, who lie to us, who live parallel and duplicitous lies, and who think that they can and should always get away with it.

Like

Further to mine at 9:19, before anybody asks, I did consider reporting this guy to the police, especially because I and my son saw him with his pants down and his dick out. I could have done, yes, for public indecency etc. However, I was prepared to give him a chance and not go for the jugular. Misplaced loyalty, perhaps. But, the conversation we had left him in no doubt that if I saw him up there again, there would be consequences…. Seems to have worked.

Pat, if you have seen the actual video of sex in Kildorrery church then you surely know who’s in it? You must know if it was Lomansey and the suspected seminarian? If so, have you told the appropriate ecclesiastical authorities? If a seminarian who behaves like this, not only promiscuously, but desecrating a church, gets ordained, it will be another disaster.

Like

Have nothing against Lomansey as he can’t defend himself. Also should speak ill of the dead. Its a possibility that he went to confession before and also denied it to Cloyne priest who spoke to +pat👆. We never know. He was my brother drinking buddy for a while, when he was in our parish. I didn’t know that until much later. Met him once at relatives funeral. Didn’t know why I felt bad vibes. So I asked for pp to speak to and was granted. I remembered much later asking a relative who was that priest. She told me it was my brother drinking buddy as parishioners knew it re his drink problem. It was a local common knowledge. I said no more until kildorrey mass incident which arose later. Then I asked around and found out more that Lomansey was on a cruise with my brother somewhere in southern France. I was astonished when I heard it. As far as I know, kildorrey wasn’t re consecrated as it spoke a lot of volumes re Crean. He doesn’t believe it was one argument. Another argument was that I don’t know. I believe there might be a 3rd person who videoing it although I could be wrong there. After studying photos led me to believe there might be a 3rd person out there or excellent self selfie something like a seasoned photographer. That seminarian if still is should be called up for hearing to assess his suitability for priesthood. If I were EM, I would fire him on the spot based on my experience of institutional abuses. Firing is a damage limitation exercise. Letting him onside towards to priesthood re studies and ordination would bring far more reputational damage as far as I’m concerned if all came out later.

I am sorry to read about you experience of the Church and it is upsetting.
I cannot even try to convince there is NO way anyone in the Catholic Church wants people within it who abuse and we do not want anyone breaking their vows they should leave now.
The older generation Bishops like Crean, McKeown and others are on their road out and hopefully the new Bishops and some recently appointed will be of a different mould God willing.
Archbishop Eamon Martin must address these issues if he has proof and not ordain unsuitable seminarians.
Surely Archbishop Eamon is not that stupid to place himself at risk to be removed because of issues.
Pope Francis wants a cleaner and leaner church and we will all strive for that alongside whoever his successor is.
I again appeal to anyone with information about wrong doing to highlight it and be assured it will be dealt with.

The majority of clergy are homosexual – it’s is a gay profession- the Vatican is populated almost entirely by homosexuals – a gay village if you like. It’s an unpalatable truth I grant you but check out Dyan Elliot Corrupter of Boys homosexuality and pedastary as old as the church – although not necessarily a causal link between the two – celibacy is a cloak, mask or veil – it masquerades as virtue but it’s a device which conceals and hides – oh and many gay men live the long robes, frills, lace, Gaudete Sunday an favoured feast day etc!!
Makes me laugh that the party line is don’t ordain gay men – when all they do is ordain gay men – a straight priest is an oxymoron and as rare as unicorn droppings.

I should have got an inkling long time ago re something wasn’t right re Vatican. There was one Vincentian priest who taught in St pats training college as he was shafted to cabra for his views and speeches on Dutch theologian named Edward Schillebeeckx. I never heard of him. I asked one teacher why was that intellectual priest sent to cabra as they told me that they shafted that Vincentian priest to cabra to shut him up. He wasnt an abuser just nice and decent priest. Vatican operated on their double standards re shafting their dissent priests and also at same time, not shafting other abuser priests. I didn’t know that until many years later when I heard that particular Vincentian priest who died, whom I found him quite decent and unassuming. The point I make it is romanists especially the Vatican do operates on double standards. I do not know what age you are and that really does not matter as the children in our schools could help you but I will try.
The Pope is the Head of the Roman Catholic Church then the Cardinals right down to the Deacons at Diocesan level.
So it is impossible for the Pope to know what is going on in each Dioceses he trusts his papal Nuncios to over see it for him and the Congregation of Bishop.
therefore everything should first be done at a Diocesan level then a National level before going to Rome.
however there is so many Bishops not up to the mark so that is why Pope Francis brought in two years ago if they have the PROOF Bishops will be removed.

15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” 20 Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah. (Matthew 16:13-20).

Like bald men fighting over a comb. My son’s primary school has a bigger enrollment than the so-called Pontifical University of Maynooth.

I wonder how those pictures in the church were taken I found this in Wikipedia: Blasphemy is an insult that shows contempt, disrespect, or lack of reverence concerning a deity, a sacred object, or something considered inviolable. I wonder if this is also a civil offence

HOW Hi Fly.

Begorra fly how bad can things get. It is so bad it would drive you to drink.
Last week I headed off with a fishing pole, a six pack of stella and paddled the canoe to the Skellig’s.
In no time I had a biggie on the line.
Thought it was flipper taking over from fungi or Jonah’s whale or the submerged jolly green giant.
Guess what….
I hauled in a duck. A big fat Daithi Lacha. A big fat over inflated rubber duckie.
Now all I’m doing is singing rubber duckie you’re the one at bath time.
I use wash and go on my Mohican haircut. Manage one to two years max from a bottle.
Herself is going around doing the shake and vac to put the freshness back.
Can’t beat the stella bud.
Anyways whether you enjoy the… black stuff…bud… or stella
May the Force Be With Us. +
Good Nite Hi Fly.

Deaf Guy.
You do not know me at all and basically all I was trying to do was point it out to you that we try to start at diocesan level before it goes to Rome as it is very expensive for any dioceses to take issues to Rome.
I am quite well away the World know of his holiness Pope Francis as he has won the Nobel Peace award
And I see the faults in the Church and constantly strive to make it a better safer place for all.
My late uncle was one the first person in the UK to get the cochlear implant and people have raised a lot of money for it so there is no way I would insult anyone.

Which poster are you re 6.12pm or 7.22pm??
Pope F Nobel peace prize doesn’t matter, not one jota of that appeals to me in fact. It’s meaningless as far as I’m concerned. Pope actions that will define him rather than his confusing, mind numbing talk. He’s a chameleon as he always change his words or his position.
If I had the chance to demand from him re accountability and that he stick to his promises. My demand to him is this
1. Sack Crean.
2.sack half of the bishops here and reduce all dioceses to 3 or 4 main areas.
3.strip rcc charity status as return them as tax payer institution. Full compliance with accounting and tax laws.
4. Strip them of all safe guarding and outsource them outside for independence and evaluate cases to refer then if necessary to the garda/police authorities.
5. Any of the church properties be sold proceeds to revert back to the parish who had contributed to it.

DG I am 6.12 and I have no need to apologise.
Bishop Crean has only five years to go.
Dioceses are being getting reduced as quick as canon Law allows with Administrators in the meantime.
The Church is a Charity and it pays all the taxes required.
Safeguarding is independent although the dioceses do pay the salaries but I would like to think we all use our own minds as we have to live with that.
Church property if it belongs to a parish it goes with the parish is amalgamates with and same if it has debts which most have.
I hope and pray that the Holy Spirit guides us.
As usual we are all bad bad.
