ANOTHER HORRIFIC CASE OF PRIESTS ABUSING A DEAF BOY.

*** YOU NEED TO GO TO YOUTUBE ITSELF TO WATCH THIS VIDEO.

Put in MOUNT MEEKER SCANDAL

This is a very sad case.

How utterly alone mustvtge poor boy have felt?

His abuser is still alive but has left the priesthood.

The boy’s bones and clothing were found a year after his death.

His parents died not knowing he was abused.

THE NEW BISHOP OF FERNS TO BE ANNOUNCED THIS WEEK.

The name of the new bishop of Ferns is to be announced at 11 am tomorrow or Thursday.

It is Fr Ger Nash the diocesan secretary of Killaloe?

Fintan Monahan announced his appointment to the priests of Killaloe by email with an embargo of 11 am tomorrow.

I received a copy early this morning.

Christ! This evil institution, the Roman Catholic Church and its priest-pimps: there is no end to its wickedness; no moral depravity beyond its scope and reach.

That’s right, a Catholic should always go around invalidating people and denying their church’s criminal history. Are you the next bishop of Ferns?

Gaslighting, a form of psychological abuse where a person or group makes someone question their sanity, perception of reality, or memories, is par for the course for survivors

I have now. It’s coming into its own these days.
And it begs the question: why does something supposedly sacred, the priesthood, attract the utterly depraved, perverted candidates? The obvious answer? Priesthood is no more sacred than God’s existence is real. (Er, according to the mockumentary you linked. 😀)

Magna (is it Pat’s blog or his?) makes the common error of using “begs the question” incorrectly.
Imagine that, what with he having two doctorates*, and all.

Actually, even if the original meaning of the expression is accepted here, its use is not erroneous, since it makes explicit that ‘sacred priesthood’ is merely an assumption, which was my point. (Er, up to a point😀)

Language evolves, semantically and otherwise. ‘Begs the question’ now has idiomatic usage and meaning, which, clearly, you do not know.

All of this will undoubtedly go straight over your head (another idiom, with meaning seemingly personalised… just for you), but, if reincarnationists are correct, you may have the opportunity to learn over several lifetimes. 😀

No, ‘Father’, Magna was never in Ward 15: he never needed it. Mother Nature opened his prison door on 11 January this year and let him out, the cost to him being a health problem which is currently under medical treatment.
Why did you lie about Magna, ‘Father’? Aren’t you part of the ‘sacred priesthood’? Committed to Christ? To… truth, ‘n’ all that. 😀
You do know, don’t you, that when you, and your colleagues, behave in these ways, it’s all grist to Magna’s mill?
You do know this, don’t you? 🤔

Whatever happened to this young boy is a huge tragedy, more proof of men – priests – finding the ideal circumstances to access young children and teenagers. Horrible, criminal behaviour. This tragedy is one of thousands upon thousands worldwide where paedophile priests knew how to target in the belief that they were above all laws, where, while instilling fear into their victims, they escaped being caught. Having experienced abuse by a neighbour from age 13-15, I am sickened by revelations from the past and present.. My abuse was in the late 60’s and to this day no one knows except a therapist. The shame is too much still but I’ve learned the survival techniques. Thousands have not had that outcome. All abusers, clerical or otherwise, when found out, should be imprisoned. Justice must be seen to be done. Priest paedophiles must be instantly dismissed and handed over to civil authorities. I’m not asking for a public humiliation or slaughtering – only the justice of civil law. God help all survivors.

Agree with you there as its non event news. Have no real interest in Bishop of ferns despite a visitor there many times re holidays. In this reason, I don’t want to know news of new bishops. It only determines how importance their news must be but not to me. Its irrelevant. Once you ceased to report news on new bishop. Then that diocese becomes irrelevant in everyone minds.
Why? I unfortunately met fr fortune at a wedding outside wexford years ago. One local filled me in as I was quite shocked. I asked him does the locals know, local said yes but can’t do anything cos their hands were tied. Garda knew as they were warned but did nothing. I was told that fortune did try or not re blackmailed Bishop comiskey. That Bishop was unable to do so cos it started with Cork fellow named Bishop herlihy. So it went on until the dam broke. Howlin was there at the wedding. He knew. Lot of people knew but their hands were tied by Gardai in the past. Not now anymore cos problems of trust in Gardai. Had a problem with Gardai in the past cos they didn’t do their job right and superior of cabra school was left off with a slap in the wrists re beatings. Couple of boys ran to cabra after the beatings but that superior was left just ticked off with a fine and a slap in the wrist.
We tried again with another CBS. Eventually we got him in courts and he was given a reduced jail sentence cos he’s ex religious brother now married. Someone that I knew and met couple times, brought a shotgun to kill him as he tried to look for him in the neighbourhood. Gardai were tipped off as he was arrested and given a warning.
He wasnt the only one cos there is another guy who can’t wait to get him cos he was abuses in a specific place that I knew it very well as I understood why that cbs picked that place cos nobody will look at that place.
School is about access to any young kids. I wouldn’t advise any parent to send their boy to a boarding school, just sent their kids to any day school near them if they could.

An international organization whose members commit crimes everywhere they go, which has a long history of evading prosecution including by shuffling criminals around internationally, and which refuses to disclose full details of its own activities or finances is not a religion, it’s a mob or syndicate. When you describe its activities without the religion you’re left with a syndicate. It describes itself as one thing but it’s activities are quite different.

Funny isn’t it how on days you publish yet another revelation of criminality and abuse the Cathbots shut up. There is nobody here telling you to stop smashing this poor man into the ground, to be merciful, and that you ignore the incredible good the church does.
Could it possibly be that their usual narrative depends on ignoring the truth (sorry, they would say TRUTH) about the church and on days you publish stuff like this they are reminded of it and derailed from their normal justification for belonging to such a terminally criminal organization? Or do even cathbots have enough remnants of a conscience to know trying to maintain their bizarre dichotomous belief that the church is holy despite its members doing this kind of thing, is impossible.
The truth will set you free, even if the truth is revolting.

What do you mean by ‘holy’? Who are you trying to convince re holiness?
The study you cite focuses on CSA in institutional settings. Its findings suggest the nature of institutional structures and overall perceptions of the rights of children appeared to be a factor in the prevalence and nature of child sexual abuse than the religious affiliation of institutions. It isn’t a numbers game. It illustrates members of catholic protestant and non-religiously affiliated working in institutional settings can be as bad as each other in terms of sexual abuse/abusers and criminality.

Yes. The financial scandals have only just started. Next will come increasing reports of abuse on the missions – and these will be huge because of the tendency to put abusive priests abroad. Follow up to my earlier post.👆
In my time, 4 out of 14 or 15 CBS were sex abusers. Most of them from rural areas. 1 CBS now married, convicted in court.
1 lay supervisor now on the register of sex offenders list. He was a temp supervisor for me for awhile before he was replaced with another supervisor. He was a total beast of nature. I couldn’t understand how cbs picked him for the job. He was fired eventually as 5 boys reported him on same weekend. Other supervisors did nothing re him. The only way was to upfront him as it took 5 boys age 15 to 16 to bring him down and eventually report him.
Another lay supervisor who was v v handsome and very involved in boys scout, he was my 1st supervisor as I sort of suspected him afterwards cos he was a standout from other normal supervisors that we used to see.
Nothing happened to me re him until I left school. Then some 30 years later, I heard his name circulating again with his camera and videos inside boys beds, possibly in toilets as well. He left cabra school before he was sacked. Then I saw him outside Dublin by chance. He wouldn’t say hello or speak to me as I passed him by. He was wearing full regalia boys scouts clothes.
Then I knew what he was after – it’s quite simply about access to other kids when their parents were out. Thank god now it’s lot of safeguarding and procedures.
My advice is to any parents to send their boys or sons to any day school near them if they could as its easier for them to access their kids at any time if they want to if needs may arise.

You might be wondering why abusers pick school for disabilities like deaf or autism or handicapped child.
Cos they are seen to be vulnerable or defenceless if you like.
Cos they cannot speak not all of them though. So it’s easier for any abuser to take an advantage of them. Even now we have irish sign language interpreters but isn’t good enough. Cos I don’t trust some interpreters here in Ireland primarily to issues such as confidence , trust, not neutral etc. Some of them broke breach of trust. Funny enough, I trust foreign British sign language interpreters cos there is a system of reporting re if any breach of trust or spilling it to their boyfriend or girlfriend. For example, someone was in hospital for some reason or another, interpreter told her boyfriend re deaf person in hospital. Then boyfriend met that person in question saying I heard you were in hospital. To me or any person, its a breach of trust or confidentiality issues. There is no standard of reporting such as this in Ireland. Only in UK where I had seen it as its effective.
Anyway back to why abusers pick any boarding school.
1. Any deaf or autism or handicapped child is away from home.therefore vulnerable and exposed.
2. No communication skills to report abuse if needs arise.
3. No system of standard reporting abuses to outsider if need be say if headmaster is compromised one way or another. Need for alternative system where main reporting system fails. What I mean by that, at my time, no mobiles, ko Internet etc etc, how can I report to outside authorities when my initial reporting to superior fails. I found out later that superior was sexually compromised.
4. Texting system wasn’t available in my time. Now its easier cos you could text outside if anonymous if you wish to outside.
5. No access for parents at moment notice re their kids cos far away. Therefore any child is therefore, very vulnerable.
6. Unable to speak renders him or her useless when it comes to abuses. Therefore no access to standard of reporting abuses.
7. Confer rights to any parents to withdraw their child from school at any moment notice. Our parents didn’t have any rights cos boarding school was ‘loco parentis’. It was on very rare occasions that I saw two parents withdraw their child from deaf school. I didn’t know whats going on that time. They pulled him out before the damage was done to their child. He’s ok now as I heard, doing well running his own business.
8. Any abused child with disabilities needs to be believed as regards to their stories no matter what. Cos we were dismissed many times re priest or cbs don’t do that cos they are holy something like to that effect or stories was crazy.
9. Alternative use of reporting such as bypassing sign language interpreter, get someone that you trust. Why, cos sometimes interpreters get our stories wrong cos their skills weren’t up to par, couldn’t read it well, misinterpreted etc. I knew a fella who said in court but was misinterpreted cos he never said it. Needs for checks and balances when things don’t go their way for any child with disabilities when it comes to report an abuse such as, alternatively other methods of communication.
10. Loopholes in reporting system that allowed abusers to get away.
11. If any physical beatings, it must go to hospital as matter of record. It reduces the level of cover ups.
Thats it

Like

Yes you’ve accurately described their way of choosing. Failing vulnerability they will befriend the parents so they are less likely to believe the child when told he is being abused.

Roman Catholic Clergy are addicted to power which leads to abuse of power – the pedestal, ontological change, specialness, anointed, etc creates the leverage and sexual frisson that leads to sexual abuse.
There isn’t a Catholic priest on earth who doesn’t abuse power – whether that be sexual, financial or simply the frisson, the rush they get, from their sense of being a little dictator in their own sphere – Fr knows best, Fr is the Boss, Fr is in charge, got to check it out with Fr and so on.
Pope Francis worries that priestly formation is drifting too far from Vatican II, he needn’t worry because it’s Christ they’ve drifted far from and there is no way back other than on their knees in abject repentance and sorrow for centuries of abuse.

Not only to abuse of power. Some are addicted to abuse of sex as such some went on for decades before we found our voices. What happened to our voices that was lost previously.
It started with a huge and major suppression of irish sign language so that we couldn’t communicate coherently and clearly to outsiders as to what was happening(if that was their real intention to access the vulnerable kids, thus preventing communication to outside people re our stories, not tales) .
Rcc took over the British as a 2nd coloniser as they imposed their ideas, languages and authority as well. Now I got another insight was that rcc was a very strong oppressor for very long time starting from crusades to Spanish inquisition to total complete rule of Ireland from 1921 to covering up of abuses then now mother and home baby cases in Tuam.
Rcc regarding their abuse of power or their ongoing history of abuses. The recent changes in penal Canon law illustrated it more starkly that they don’t GET IT. Marie collins illustrated her point across very well.
Also I found that rcc and mafia have something a lot in common.
1. Their obsessive for total omerta, secrecy whatever you call it. Jesus never called for that, instead, he called for openess and healing.
2. Money laundering with criminal organisations such as mafia and Archbishop markincus.
3. Unexplained deaths, murders, assualts that led to deaths such as today blog. Just like anotylher mafia.
4. Mafia went for ladies but rcc went for liitle boys and girls some at pre puberty, most at post, homosexuality rampant now within seminaries, priesthood as well.
5. Obedience to the Pope which is a mark and also making of a cult. Obedience to what abd what for? Vatican and the papacy is very essence of anti democracy where we have no say in choosing, priests, bishops or cardinals with our MONEY.
6.No way would be any reasonable person consider it to donate without any say in Catholic matters. They are using our monies to fund their lifestyle whatever or wherever it is. To contribute money to their sinful lifestyle is out of question for me or any right thinking person. Its like accessory to a crime or sin. I’m surprised that rcc haven’t considered this.

Just watched the first YouTube video, heartbreaking. His poor mum and dad never truly found out what happened to him; and thank God, in a way, if that makes sense?
That priest, on the porch- who has admitted to interfering with other kids- but says he didn’t do – or try to do anything – to little Bobby?! Yeah, right!
And I suppose a paedophile working in a tuck shop at a Summer camp is just an innocent coincidence, isn’t it?! WTF!
I believe the kid either ran for safety because he was terrified of something- likely somebody- or he was lead out the way then abused and just left there.
Also, with him being deaf, a communication barrier, he would have been looked upon as an “easy target” by any predators; I think that’s of Particular query here.
— A paedophile working in a tuck shop – you couldn’t make it up! 🤢
….
Saying that: Keith Simpson, who used to be an organist in Liverpool Anglican Diocese, owned Laser Kids’ Schoolwear, London Road, Liverpool, for many years — and still even after he was convicted in the 1990s, he was still organist at St. John the Baptist, Tuebrook, during the early days of Canon Paul Nener’s incumbency.
One would have thought any Chief Constable would have serious questions and concerns over a convicted paedophile running a kids’ school clothing shop — maybe these public concerns do not come under the remit of a Chief Constable?
Maybe the Anglican safeguarding department? But he was working as an organist in churches.
Are Liverpool and Chester Anglican Dioceses particularly “safe spaces” for those with unacceptable behaviours?
Have victims and survivors found Anglican affiliated Judiciaries particularly unpleasant?

I’m pretty certain that the ex-VG of Birmingham (Menzies) and the ex-VG of Westminster (Boyle) were moved on because of various things around IICSA and to get them out of the way before proceedings really got going. Menzies in part because of the bollocks Birmingham was making about its Safeguarding management, and Boyle because he was the one writing letters and making email comments about a female complainant. There may have been other reasons as well, like they were just useless and ineffective, or they were long in the tooth in the job and jaded, or whatever. But, I reckon the IICSA stuff had something to do with it, and with lots of other rearrangements of the clerical musical chairs around the country.

Yet they will never name him when he asks them to!
I guess people refer most to conspiracy when they feel threatened and if they feel threatened by ‘Magna Carta’ obviously he is far too near the knuckle for him and people fear he has the goods on them
And yet he has never apparently broken a confidence here or referred to having dirt on people – if I was them I’d be much more frightened of the ex priest who commented yesterday about sleeping with many other priests!
