CARDINAL O’BRIEN – EXPOSED.

FROM AMAZON:

Description

Product Description

As the papal conclave that was to choose Pope Francis was being called, a cardinal of the Catholic Church was exposed and took a monumental fall from grace. Since then, many more high\-profile Catholic clerics have been confronted. One of four whistle blowers, former priest Brian Devlin relates what it took to uncover the sexual hypocrisy of Cardinal Keith O’Brien in this previously untold inside story. Making the effort to write not from a place of anger and hurt, he presents Cardinal Sin as an opportunity for the global Church to learn and change.

With far reaching insights, the book offers genuine lessons to help avoid future horror stories involving Catholic leaders.

The author asks the hard questions, analyses the harsh responses of the Catholic hierarchy and provides ways the Church can heal and regain the trust of its faithful.

Cardinal Sin: Challenging power abuse in the Catholic Church is a critical work for understanding how the Catholic Church does and should react when its senior figures are challenged.

Review

“A searching but compassionate account of one of the greatest sex scandals in the Catholic Church in recent history” –Richard Holloway

“Without courageous whistleblowers like Brian Devlin, we would never know the extent of the corruption that facilitated O’Brien and others like him.” –Mary McAleese

About the Author

Brian Devlin is a former Catholic priest. Being profoundly deaf he uses his social media presence to raise awareness of issues around deafness. He was Director in charge of Public Relations and Patient Participation for an NHS Board. Prior to all of this, he was a Catholic Priest in Edinburgh. He left the priesthood – however his interest in medical and healthcare ethics, which he learned in his training, remains.

PAT SAYS

KEITH O’BRIEN was an out and out hypocrite – living a gay sexually active life, seducing seminarians and priests – and publically opposing open and honest gay men and women who wanted to seal their love with a civil partnership or marriage.

Interestingly, he was also a big mate of Jimmy Saville! What was that all about?

He was the Scottish version of Uncle Ted McCarrick – who hopefully we will soon see jailed.

Brian Devlin

BRIAN DEVLIN has the perfect right to oublish this book – to tell what O’Brien did to him and others.

Devlin is also doing us all a favour by lifting up another Catholic clerical rock and allowing us to see the creepy crawlies that will come crawling out.

With the recent story of all those in the Vatican using Grindr – it seems that a lot more of them are “at it”.

MY RECENT ENCOUNTER WITH COVID.

Yesterday, after 10 days in isolation, I was free to mix again after contracting Covid.

Fortunately, I had received both my Pfizer vaccinations and my illness was “mild” – headache, raised temperature, cough, sore throat and head cold symptoms.

I also developed a Covid related conjunctivitis which Im told happens in 3 % of cases.

I had taken the opportunity to talk with my GP by telephone and he put me on a 7 day course of the antibiotic Doxycycline to protect my chest etc.

I felt quite ill for three days and then gradually became better.

But if this was the “mild” version I would really fear the full-blown version, for the mild was rough in itself.

Its at times like this that we are really reminded how good the UK NHS is – free access to doctors and hospitals and free prescriptions.

I talked to my GP within an hour of requesting the telephone consultation.

THE ANTI VAXERS:

I cannot get my head around the fact that there are many people out there opposed to vaccines, refusing to take them, and velueving in all kinds of conspiracy theiries.

Over 4 million have died from Covid worldwide – over 1 million of those in Europe.

Medical professionals I know tell me very sad stories of people in ICU and on ventilators – even young people.

I think there are always conspiracy theorists on every issue – but we should not be guided by them.

I AM NOT saying that there are not lots of questions to be asked about Covid.

But on the ground we have to trust our doctors and scientists.

https://fb.watch/73B0YKuQCn/

COVID PASSPORTS

Of course I am a believer in the individual’s right not to take a medicine.

But I also believe in the community’s right to defend itself from infection and death.

And all our decisions gave consequences.

If YOU decide not to take the vaccine I have the right to say to YOU that I do not want YOU to threaten my health by being in my company.

Therefore, I am in favour of people being asked to prove they are not a threat to others health in planes, pubs, restaurants etc.

If you decide not to be vaccinated, thats one of the consequences.

People say that is Big Brother watching.

Well, as someone who had Covid, I am very glad that Big Brother vaccinated me and kept me from greater illness and potentially, death.

PAT SAYS

It is good for us to have sight of the Dublin clerical changes 2021.

These are Dermot Ledwith – Farrell’s first major changes in Dublin.

I see Paul Callan gets a holiday.

I see Damian McNeice gets a parish after getting a slap from DLF.

The changes are fairly routine.

I think a few of those on the changes are mitre seekers:

Paul Callan

Ciaran O Carroll

Gareth Byrne

THE LEGION OF MARY CENTENARY – 1921 – 2021.

I was a member of the Legion of Mary in my teenage years and during my time in the seminary.

In the early part of my priesthood I was also chaplain to parish Legion of Mary praesidium.

In 1978 when I returned from Wales and was awaiting an Irish appointment I worked everyday in the Morning Star hostel for homeless men – when the man below, Br Tom Doyle, was in charge.

In the Morning Star every morning I celebrated Mass for the homeless men and Legion of Mary members.

The founder of the Legion, Frank Duff, often attended those Masses.

Frank Duff

I found Frank Duff to be a gentle, quiet, prayerful man and I enjoyed a number of conversations with him.

After Mass, I had a rough breakfast ( it was a rough spot) with the Legion staff.

Then I spent the rest of the day washing floors, making beds and providing food and company to the homeless men.

It was a privilege to be part of it.

I also spent two weeks in Glasgow in 1972 as a legionary envoy called a “peregrinatio pro Christi” – a pilgrim for Christ.

We went round the houses trying to convert Protestants into Catholics and encouraging lapsed Catholics back to Mass.

LATER

As time went on my spirituality developed along a very different path to the Legion.

My faith, while greatly honouring the role played by Mary in God’s plan of Redemption, became more Christ focused than Marian.

In Many ways the Legion is pre Vatican II and I am very distinctly Vatican 11.

Frank Duff worked closely with Archbishop John Charles McQuaid and was the same style of man.

But I have no problem with the Legion of Mary apart from the fact that they are blindly obedient to the RCC and its hierarchs and clerics.

The Legion has done an awful lot of good in its 100 years.

In the early years in Dublin, it was the answer to homelessness and helping women caught in prostitution.

I think Frank Duff was a saintly man.

THE JESUIT PAEDOPHILE FR JOSEPH MARMION – THE MONSTER OF BELVEDERE.

Marmion

This week the Irish Jesuits issued a statement about one of their priests who abused boys for 50 years.

“After the naming in public of Joseph Marmion SJ last March the Jesuits in Ireland appealed for anyone who had any complaints, concerns or questions to contact our Safeguarding Office.

It was clear from what was communicated to us from those impacted by Marmion’s emotional, psychological, physical and sexual abuse, that they wanted a robust process that would address the whole truth of what happened and how it was allowed to happen

After consultation with survivors and others the Provincial, Fr Leonard Moloney, asked two independent restorative justice practitioners to engage with those survivors who wished to, in order to further identify their needs and ways to meet them.

Through this process it was also intended that the full story of Jesuit knowledge, actions and omissions would be told and that answers would be provided to the questions that are being brought forward.

One strand of this process involved the preparation of a detailed chronology and Jesuit Response to the Joseph Marmion history.

What has emerged in terms of the story of Marmion’s abuse, and subsequent handling of his case is shameful for us Jesuits and must be very difficult for survivors to read. Decisions were made that should never have been made and decisions that should have been made were not. There are no excuses.

We are profoundly sorry for the terrible wrongs that were done to survivors. We again ask forgiveness of all those impacted by Joseph Marmion’s abuse.

We understand that words are never enough, no matter how sincerely meant or felt. But it is our deep hope that this first step in owning our story, shameful as it is, and acknowledging fully the role we played as an Order in allowing this abuse to happen and go on for so long, will be the beginning of a new way for us of taking responsibility for our failings.

We understand the justifiable anger, or range of reactions that many survivors may feel on reading the details of this story of abuse and how it was handled.

We want to invite anybody impacted by what they have now read, should they wish to do so. to contact the restorative practitioners:

Catherine O’Connell Catherine.oconnell@mu.ie 0879936237

Barbara Walshe barbarawalshe@live.com 0868186639 or

Saoirse Fox, Child Safeguarding Manager in the Jesuit Safeguarding Office; email safeguarding@jesuit.ie 089 264 4400

The Provincial hopes also that through these ongoing restorative and restitutional processes, the Jesuits will have the opportunity to make their apology in person to survivors”.

THE JOE DUFFY PROGRAMME ON THE JESUIT STATEMENT AND MARMION.

https://www.rte.ie/radio/radio1/clips/21986488/

PAT SAYS

The Irish Jesuits first knew about Marmion’s paedophilia in 1948.

They received shocking complaints about him in the 1970s.

But he was allowed to continue his activities.

They even allowed him to bring 25 boys each year, on his own, to Austria, where he drugged, raped and abused boys.

He was also a violent monster as a teacher and perfected the art of humiliating and beating boys.

He was a bully in every Jesuit community he served in.

Now that the proverbial shit has hit the fan, the Jesuits and their current slippery provincial, Leonard Maloney, are involved in a PR and save the cash manoeuvre.

Maloney

They are apparently very interested in being open AFTER HALF A CENTURY!

Some time ago I had dealings with Leonard and his safeguarding people over the then Jesuit, Paul Prior.

I SAY TO ALL VICTIMS

Do not trust Leonard and the Jesuits.

Only talk to the Garda and your lawyers.

WHY IS DERMOT FARRELL STAYING SO SILENT ON SHOW FUNERALS?

Activites taking place at recent Dublin Show Funerals have stunned many in Ireland and indeed further afield.

And yet there has been NO RESPONSE and NO GUIDANCE from the man who is 100% responsible for this response and guidance – Dermot Farrell, the bishop involved?

Not only has he left the public in the dark – he has also failed to support and guide his priests who may be faced with another such occasion at any time.

And these funerals pose a real danger to priests and Mass goers.

Any day a priest could be seriously injured or shot dead at one of these Show Funerals.

Just look at the footage below from the undertaker’s website.

https://fb.watch/6_fKFzwWwV/

https://fb.watch/6_fSfM0taM/

https://fb.watch/6_g18NQStF/

Dermot needs to issuse URGENT INTERIM INSTRUCTIONS TO HIS CLERGY.

Those instructions need to state:

1. That only a dignified picture of the deceased be displayed in the church and a dignified symbol of the the persons life be placed on the coffin.

2. That the Offertory Procession consist of the bread and wine to be used at the Eucharist.

3. That floweral displays do not contain symbols supporting criminal activity or anything contrary to the Church’s beliefs and teachings.

4. That the eulogy, when Mass is over, is delivered by a family member or close family friend, and does not glorify or justify and kind of wrong doing by the deceased.

5. That divisive or offensive activities do not take place on church property before of after the funeral.

6. If any of these guidelines are broken, the celebrating priest should immediately leave the altar and sanctuary and the undertakers remove the body for burial or cremation.

You will find that generally speaking, these young criminals and their drug and crime bosses do not attend church.

They cannot be allowed to hijack church and priests to glorify the evil they do.

Mind you, some of these people would be quite capable of shooting and killing priests and are probably only held back by community opinion.

DERMOT FARRELL:

Dermot Farrell is only interested in sorting out the finances of Dublin.

He has only become a bishop because he covered for the RCC when his cousin Ledwith was sexually assaulting seminarians.

Dermot pulled the wool over for the bishops.

Ossory and Dublin are his rewards.

We should expect very little of him.

DUBLIN PRIEST PRESIDES OVER FUNERAL GLORIFYING CRIME AND CRIMINALS.

HUGH KAVANAGH

A week ago a Dublin parish priest from Tallaght presided over the funerals of three young criminal thugs who were killed as the Garda chased their getaway car.

Funeral Mass

During the Mass of Dean Maguire people shouted:

DEAN – YOU FUCKING LEGEND”.

The banner below was on the altar:

The banner, glorifying the crimes of burglary and armed robbery read:

“YOU KNOW THE SCORE

GET ON THE FLOOR

DON’T BE FUNNY,

SHOW ME THE MONEY’

The offerty procession of the funeral contained the tools of criminality and burglary – a screw driver, a stanley knife etc.

The funeral flowers also glorified crime.

The night before the funeral the hearse was driven through Dublin city in a convoy of criminar cars and jeeps which drove through red lights.

The DUBLIN CRIMINAL FRATERNITY got dozens of young men, wearing Rolex watches and driving four wheel beach cars to drive around areas glorifying the dead thugs.

Here is an interview on the RTE liveline programme presented by Joe Duffy:

https://www.rte.ie/radio/radio1/clips/21985747/

PAT SAYS:

This priest, Hugh Kavanagh, who does not seem to be the brightest button on the shirt, seems to have a history of mingling with parishioners in rough areas and not challenging misbehaviour. Of course irrational people love that.

Two years ago, the then Archbishop of Dublin, Diarmuid Martin said very clearly the CRIMINAL SHOW FUNERALS should not be allowed in churches.

Those instructions were massively ignored on this occasion.

WAS FR KAVANAGH POWERLESS?

My impression is that Kavanagh is weak and a people pleaser!

He should have intervened, had the banner and flowers removed from the church and banned the glorification of criminality in the offertory procession.

And if he met resistance he should have walked off the altar.

If a gun was then literally put to his head, he could have continued and told afterwards that he celebrated at gunpoint.

But Kavanagh said nothing and did nothing.

OTHER PRIESTS:

FATHER DONAL ROCHE told the Mail and Irish Times:

Donal Roche

Father Donal Roche, who did not conduct the service but was at the funeral to help with Covid-19 regulations, told RTÉ Liveline: ‘It was the most disturbing liturgy I have ever been at. There was a sense of restlessness, and the priest officiating was up against it.’

He told The Irish Times he was unaware of the offerings and had not read the banner but said they were ‘terrible’, while describing the eulogies as ‘very strange’.

Father Roche added that there was no mention of the truck driver who was hospitalised with injuries to his legs after the three men collided with the lorry.

Father Roche later said that he thought he was going to be assaulted at the funeral.

THE FUTURE

Dermot Farrell should ban all future show funerals.

He should remove Fr Kavanagh from his current parish and reassign him as a sign that a priest’s inaction is not acceptable.

The Garda need to be given wider powers to tackle the growing criminal problem in Dublin.

They should be allowed to shoot armed criminals without facing any discipline.

The future of Dublin and Ireland is threatened.

The enemies are the criminals and drug dealers.

I have no sympathy for the three killed – apart from the grief of their families.

In fact Ireland is safer without them.

LETS HAVE A MONKS DAY TODAY

CONTRIBUTION BY ENGLISH MONK:

“Much comment in England about the long overdue and courageous move made by Bishop Declan Lang of Clifton in clipping the wings of his two errant priests Fathers Bede Rowe and Alexander Redman

Rowe pictured beside the bishop in biretta and cope) – no wonder the bishop is not smiling!}.

Long a thorn this good man’s side, they have bullied him for years since arriving in the sleepy backwater diocese after having left Ealing Abbey together some 20 years ago.

Father Alexander Redman

By all accounts the two monks were inseparable and the source of much division in the community and well as comment.

Abbot Charleworth – centre

Since then the ultra-traditionalists have ruined every parish they have been given including ripping out forward facing altars and restoring altar rails.

In desperation the gentle bishop gave in to their incessant demands to be allowed to set up their own community, giving them the bizarre parish of Glastonbury; a dead-end place full of hippies and witches, though he refused their petition to allow them to each be Abbot in turn.

They had hoped to attract young men as novices, but alas not one has come.

It remains to be seen what their next move will be, but shorn of the extraordinary form that they so worship, its rumoured that they are already exploring throwing in their lot with the Lefebvrite’s who have a shrine in nearby Bristol.

Or maybe they will join the community of Buckfast, led by the ultra-traditionalist Dom Richard Charlesworth?

Now there’s a tale to be told! He has just been re-elected abbot for the fourth time in twenty years, after living for the last several years in a luxury penthouse apartment in a West Country city with a handsome Turk.

The young man has followed his benefactor to the monastery and briefly flirting with the Portsmouth diocese.

What is it about West Country monasteries? Must be the cider, or the tonic wine”!

SATANIC / BLASPHEMOUS ASPECT TO MONSIGNOR BURRILL’S VAGAS BATH HOUSE.

Burrill

It has emerged that the gay bath house in Vagas where Burrill, the secretary general of the US Catholic bishop’s conference, has a Satanic and blasphemous aspect.

One of the events hosted by the club is a mockery of the Eucharist and prayer.

Its called CUM UNION and instead of the host and communion gay men share soerm with each other through performing oral sex.

And instead of people getting on their knees to pray they are encouraged to:

GET ON YOUR KNEES AND PLAY !

IMAGES FROM BATH HOUSE FACEBOOK

IRELAND

Its part of a trend among extreme priest’s gay sex groups to have sex in the context of the Satanic and blasphemous.

Fr Lomasney who had connections with a gay sex Satanic ring in Ireland – a ring I am currently investigating.

This Irish ring consists of some ex clergy, serving clergy, members of the Garda and others.

Some years ago a large file on this group was submitted to the Garda and was shelved.

After its submission an alleged member of the group committed suicide at the Satanic worship site.

If you think you’ve seen the worst of Church filth let me assure you:

THE WORST HAS YET TO COME !!!

STATEMENT ON BEHALF OF BISHOP PETER A. LIBASCI

Bishop Peter Libasci categorically denies the allegation set forth in a recently filed lawsuit in New York. The allegation that, almost 40 years ago, Bishop Libasci assaulted an individual while serving as a parish priest in Deer Park, New York is not true. Bishop Libasci has dedicated over 43 years to serving others as a Roman Catholic priest, during which time he has earned an impeccable reputation for treating all individuals with dignity and respect. While Bishop Libasci has great compassion for victims of sexual abuse, he will be forced to vigorously defend against these false allegations in court.

SHOULD MONSIGNOR BURRILL HAVE BEEN OUTED AS GRINDR USER?

The darling of the clerical gay club, James Martin SJ,  has said that Mons Burrill’s privacy should not have been invaded by those who outed him as a very regular Grindr user.

I TOTALLY DISAGREE!

Burrill is the most senior and visible non-bishop RC cleric in the USA.

In his work and actions he represents the RCC in the USA and also represents RC teaching, doctrine and discipline.

He made a public vow of celibacy at his ordination and his work and mode of dress says: “I am an authentic representative of all things RC – including the current USCCB’s thoughts on President Biden as a practising RC being pro choice”.

In effect, the thought is that Biden is a public sinner for his stance on abortion and WE are considering banning this immoral man from receiving Holy Communion.

The fact that Burrill & Co are judging Biden like this begs the question of whether those calling him immoral are immoral hypocrites themselves and therefore not in a position to condemn Biden or anyone else.

We do not know who really was behind the digging into Burrill’s life and activities. Their motives may not have been pure. We simply dont know.

But we do know that they found him on Grindr seeking sex with men and tracked him to several places including a gay bathhouse.

Cubicles

You cannot be both a promoter and defender of RCC condemnation of homosexuality and at the same time be meeting men for sex all over the country and in orgiastic gay bathhouses!

Its a contradiction!

Its hypocrisy!

Burrill and others like him in the USA, Ireland and everywhere else, have to make their minds up.

You are either an authentic priest struggling to be faithful to your vows.

Or you leave the priesthood, with all its perks, and become a homosexual private citizen, who does not seek to be a high ground moralist, and enjoy all the gay sex you can, whenever you can and for as long as you want.

You cannot be the grey Father Hyde and the pink Mr Jekyll.

ANOTHER US PROBLEM

The bishop of the Diocese of Manchester has been named in a civil lawsuit that alleges sexual abuse of a minor in the 1980s in Deer Park, New York.According to the accusations made in the lawsuit, Bishop Peter Anthony Libasci sexually abused the alleged victim when the child was around 12 or 13 years old on “numerous occasions”.

Would ye look at the get up of him
