JOHN KEENAN CALLS RECENT ALLEGATIONS FALSE AND SIGNALS WE WILL NOT, AFTER ALL, BE SEEING EACH OTHER IN COURT 😭

SECOND LETTER FROM JOHN KEENAN’S SOLICITOR:

SECOND URGENT QUESTION SENT TO JOHN KEENAN YESTERDAY AFTER NEW MESSAGE SUBMITTED BY A PRIEST

“Pat,

Fr Xxxxxx Xxxxxx was the priest bringing rent boys into the presbytery.

Over 3 years two newly ordained curates in a row had locks put on their doors, reported Xxxxxx use of rent to Keenan and he moved them both.

Only when he moved an African priest did it get exposed as said African priest caught one rent boy coming in a window during the night and African priest threatened to call the Police.

3 lay members of staff challenged Keenan on this and payments and all 3 were given NDAs including one of them who worked mornings at St Conval’s Diocesan Cemetery, Ms Xxxxxxx Xxxxxx. I don’t yet know the names of the other 2 NDA Staff but I bet Keenan chokes when he hears you have at least one name.

Regards and Gratitude”.

EMAILED SECOND QUESTION TO KEENAN

ALL DETAILS SENT TO NUNCIO.

PAT SAYS:

The last few days have been very busy and full of all kinds of tensions.

My priest informant insists everything he has told me is true and accurate.

JOHN KEENAN, especially in today’s second letter, is denying everything.

But while insisting its all false, has not followed through on his threat to litigate against me.

He is now going to regard the information I gave him as a COMPLAINT and is going to investigate.

He only wants to hear from me if I have more evidence to give him.

I have given him names, addresses, dates, relationship circumstances and many other details.

Somehow I don’t think that John Keenan will be publishing a report as the result of his “investigations”.

After all this, and other things I have heard on the grapevine I would be surprised if he gets Glasgow.

But ANYTHING and EVERYTHING is possible in the RCC.

Those who publicly conflate pedophilia and same-sex attraction usually have their own dark secret to hide and it is less likely to be the latter.

The word ‘usually’ in your post is my pass to innocence here, even if your deduction were accurate: I am nether gay, nor a paedophile. Nor is necessarily anyone a paedophile who, as you put it, conflates ‘pedophilia and same-sex attraction’. There is no causal connection between the two, except in your jaundiced mind.

You might have had a point worth greater consideration had you understood my post: I did not conflate paedophilia with homosexuality; in fact, I distinguished the two, very clearly, with the phrasing ‘… either rentboys, OR little real boys…’.

Had I been conflating in the way you accused, I would have stated that priests could have both.

Like

In the rite of Pasletana, the bishop holds the crozier in the right hand, ready to strike any independent bishops who may threaten his jurisdiction. Symbolically of course this leaves the left free, which symbolises giving back handers to rent boys.
The rite is also unusual in that the bishop drags up in any old mismatched tat he can find. Apart from the obvious symbolism pointing to poverty and scrag end of lamb, this symbolises the bishop’s desire for our heavenly home in the cardinalate.

I would say in Westminster, Cardiff, Glasgow and Tuam it is current Bishop’s that will be promoted.

If you are going to say Leo Cushley they he was in a high position in Rome and brought in by Pope Francis himself to clean up Edinburgh looks like Leo need’s to go Glasgow, Motherwell and now paisley to clean it up.

The dreadful Joe Duffy went straight from curate to Bishop of Clogher.

Pope John XIX went from layman to pope in one day if you want a historical precedent of even faster promotion. In fact the abbot’s character is very similar and he is of course already mitred. He has been groomed for the role by conducting confirmations – as we know these could be done by any priest and his wearing a mitre for these occasions is calculated to create an episcopal impression.

You are adding apples and oranges by comparing abbots and bishops. The similarities are in matters of style alone and not of substance. For historical reasons, abbots assumed pontificals when monasteries outperformed dioceses, (as in pre-Norman Ireland).
John XIX had plenty of notice to prepare for his rapid elevation since he succeeded his brother, Benedict VIII (and, incidentally, was in turn succeeded by his nephew, Benedict IX). All three were Theophylacti, a family which had figured prominently during the ‘saeculum obscurum’ of the previous century.

Pat, though you received information from a Scottish priest, can it be that there is a relationships/communications war of some kind going on in the Bishop’s Diocese? As you well know, there can be some horrible Machiavellian machinations and politics at play in Dioceses where people create trouble, make allegations, lie and gossip to get revenge. Is the Bishop aware of the priest who forwarded names to you and if the priest is so certain, why didn’t he go directly to the Bishop? It’s a pity that your blig today was a little hijacked by some very vengeful individuals, Mulvihill being the worst. You got some good feedback. Interesting correspondences and I wonder who comes out of it with greater or less integrity and credibility?

I have just read the Gospel of the day and this has come flooding out
The words of Jesus about the Pharisees must be filling the minds of the clergy who are reading them today. What must it be like for our pastors who know that they have lost contact with the Good Shepherd? I cannot understand why so many of our priests are ignoring the teaching of Christ. All of their secrets are known to God. The Love that is the Trinity has brought salvation to humanity through the Incarnation who has then humbled himself even more ………. The words of St Paul are well known and they are still true.
What must it be like for our good shepherds who know more that we do about the filth and duplicity which fills God’s Church on earth and are trapped between their calling to devote their whole lives to growing and caring for the people of their parishes and the falseness of the structure that has grown out of the Petrine foundation. All human organisations have as their first task the maintenance of their own structures and so lose sight of their original purpose and begin to crumble. I have to accept that is happening now at this moment and have to ask could if this be the Will of God.
A few years ago I asked a Bishop how he could be having a “Holy Show” for the “gay community”.”Holy Show” is the only way to describe a mass that was advertised to be for the “LGBT community” He talked of Mercy I asked how could there be Mercy without contrition for people who defined themselves by “Pride” in their own sinfulness. Ignoring sin is not helping the sinner. Jesus is God’s Mercy and his words to sinners are “Go and sin no more”. I was a “nasty man”a “homophobe” (what a stupid word that is; a prefix attached to a suffix).
This Bishop is a former rector of a seminary and a couple of years ago a photograph of one of that seminary’s Spiritual Directors was published on this website. He was dressed in a miniskirt, a vaguely clerical top and displayed blasphemously a pectoral cross he also had a tart hanging from each shoulder.
That man continued in that position. He had the responsibility of assisting the spiritual growth of candidates for ordination! I am still completely “gob-smacked” that this could be true but it is.
Honestly, I am not set free by this revolting truth.

Like

8:06 It is very obvious why priests keep getting involved with rent boys. Rather than see intercourse as part of a loving relationship, they see it as a commercial exchange, as they do everything else in their lives, including the religious front. If their dealers wanted paying in sexual favours they wouldn’t see that as out of the way. It is exactly like if a bishop saw his clergy paying rentboys as a situation to be managed with NDAs rather than a moral situation.

The attitude displayed towards this scandal is exactly the same as bishops used to have towards clerical child abuse – ignore everyone else, keep it quiet and do what you like.
The moral is that the abuse scandal has taught them nothing and the only reason the church has introduced any safeguarding is because they have been forced to.

Ivy Tilsley was a brilliant advert for Catholicism – always bitter, sharp tongued with staunch Roman Catholic beliefs. I don’t think they’ve portrayed a Catholic character since.

The cause of the row was that Gail had started working in the cafe. Ivy was opposed to that and asked who was looking after baby Nicky and she maintained that there was no need to work because Brian was earning good money abroad and sending plenty back to Wetherfield.

For her part, it wasn’t about money, Gail said, but was about getting out of the house. Ivy was mortified at this and stormed out.

I have to say that I don’t find the name “Ivy” to be typically Catholic. I think Tony Warren took the character names from headstones in a Manchester cemetery. Here in N Ireland, Ivy is a name that Protestant women of a certain age have. Other examples of such names are Iris, Myrttle, Iris and Arlene. It’s not an iron rule though. I met a Protestant Dolores once, which was confusing.

It was nearly as unexpected as that time I met a black man in Portadown via Grindr and he turned out to be, ahem, smaller than me.

So hope the next PP who hosts Betty for a canonical visitation or confirmations serves up a hot pot. The look on her face would be delicious to observe 🙂

It sounds to me, + Pat, that you have seen off the blundering, blustering + Betty Turpin. I think he realises there is little he can do to stop you saying what you are saying. He’s retired from the field of battle. Probably because he realises that if he did take you on in litigation, there would be all sorts of other things that would come out – inconveniently. If you are going to go to litigation, you need to make sure that you have no dark secrets, no dark corners, because they will be winkled out. I think this guy has been told that it is not worth the hassle. Why do you think Purcell and co don’t sue ? Because they know they have a great deal to hide. So, + Pat, just keep on making life uncomfortable for these guys. They have had it too easy for too long, and have been able to get away with all sorts of things. Now, they have to keep watch over their shoulder, because you are there peering.over and taking an interest in what is going on ! Bravo !

Clogher clergy changes published. Bishop Duffy makes a raft of bold and brave moves. Many priests involved.

Are any newspapers picking this up Pat? I had hoped you would name the culprits as we have a right to know who can support and who we can’t. You don’t strike me as someone who would cover this sort of stuff up. There’s been enough of that. It was so refreshing to see a bishop being transparent.

Oh, not again, Bp Pat, I think you have already done your worst. Leave it up to Patricia henceforth.

If memory serves me right I think it was the late and famous lawyer Arnold Goodman who once said ‘If you are going to sue then dig two graves’

PS: As one who has successfully sued it is not to undertaken lightly. As the Anglican marriage says:

therefore is not by any to be enterprised, nor taken in hand, unadvisedly, lightly, or wantonly,

What shite these bishops talk. He also said there was a need “to encourage a participatory institutional model of Church with a leadership of service,” This is all tinkering at the edges. The Church still has at its hearth a sacramental life that is provided by priests. But there are no priests. Talking about catechists, and participatory stuff is fudging the issue. The issue is by and large that priests have failed us, and that there are no priests of any value or virtue willing or able to take up the role. This Dublin guy needs to ask himself why. Well, simply because the notion of an all male celibate priesthood has been seen and found to be severely wanting, damaging, dysfunctional and dangerous to the life of the Church. Answer, which even some dolt headed bishop like this Dublin guy should be able to see – get rid fo what hobbles and damages priesthood, namely clericalism and celibacy, and replace it with a healthy and integrated priesthood that is not necessarily celibate, nor even male, nor even of one interpretation of what is normal, and let’s have a priesthood that is healthy, integrated, settled, happy, diverse, whole and functioning. Do that and things will be way better. But will they ? Of course not. Stupid twats.

I was particularly surprised with the RE one, very much not the one I would have put on the list. I have a good part of the list from a trustworthy source, makes me sick to my stomach, so sad, some people that I thought were the good guys.
