Over 3 years two newly ordained curates in a row had locks put on their doors, reported Xxxxxx use of rent to Keenan and he moved them both.


Only when he moved an African priest did it get exposed as said African priest caught one rent boy coming in a window during the night and African priest threatened to call the Police.


3 lay members of staff challenged Keenan on this and payments and all 3 were given NDAs including one of them who worked mornings at St Conval’s Diocesan Cemetery, Ms Xxxxxxx Xxxxxx. I don’t yet know the names of the other 2 NDA Staff but I bet Keenan chokes when he hears you have at least one name.

The last few days have been very busy and full of all kinds of tensions.

But while insisting its all false, has not followed through on his threat to litigate against me.

As you well know, there can be some horrible Machiavellian machinations and politics at play in Dioceses where people create trouble, make allegations, lie and gossip to get revenge. Is the Bishop aware of the priest who forwarded names to you and if the priest is so certain, why didn’t he go directly to the Bishop? Well, that’s a turn-up for the books. I think we are now free to draw our own conclusions about the veracity of the claims about Bishop Keenan. There have been rumours around for a long time – so long that (I’m reliably informed) he had no chance of being transferred to Glasgow.
A key lesson here might be – don’t bluff. If you’ve no intention of taking legal action, don’t threaten it.
Another key lesson is… we need to pray for bishops…

I have just read the Gospel of the day and this has come flooding out
The words of Jesus about the Pharisees must be filling the minds of the clergy who are reading them today.What must it be like for our pastors who know that they have lost contact with the Good Shepherd? I cannot understand why so many of our priests are ignoring the teaching of Christ. All of their secrets are known to God. The Love that is the Trinity has brought salvation to humanity through the Incarnation who has then humbled himself even more ………. The words of St Paul are well known and they are still true.
What must it be like for our good shepherds who know more that we do about the filth and duplicity which fills God’s Church on earth and are trapped between their calling to devote their whole lives to growing and caring for the people of their parishes and the falseness of the structure that has grown out of the Petrine foundation. All human organisations have as their first task the maintenance of their own structures and so lose sight of their original purpose and begin to crumble. I have to accept that is happening now at this moment and have to ask could if this be the Will of God.
A few years ago I asked a Bishop how he could be having a “Holy Show” for the “gay community”.”Holy Show” is the only way to describe a mass that was advertised to be for the “LGBT community” He talked of Mercy I asked how could there be Mercy without contrition for people who defined themselves by “Pride” in their own sinfulness. Ignoring sin is not helping the sinner. Jesus is God’s Mercy and his words to sinners are “Go and sin no more”. This Bishop is a former rector of a seminary and a couple of years ago a photograph of one of that seminary’s Spiritual Directors was published on this website. He was dressed in a miniskirt, a vaguely clerical top and displayed blasphemously a pectoral cross he also had a tart hanging from each shoulder.
That man continued in that position. He had the responsibility of assisting the spiritual growth of candidates for ordination! I am still completely “gob-smacked” that this could be true but it is.
Honestly, I am not set free by this revolting truth.

The attitude displayed towards this scandal is exactly the same as bishops used to have towards clerical child abuse – ignore everyone else, keep it quiet and do what you like.

If you read this old article properly and in particular the readers comments you will find that a disabled child was treated not very nicely by the woman. I would like to think that you would support child safeguarding in such matters. There is a bigger story than what was published. I think it was quite right to put her out of the church. No suggestion of sexual impropriety same goes for child molestors. They should be put out as well. Sometimes there 2 sides to a story. This is one of them. It had been brewing for some time.

What sparked it off was the treatment of a disability child. Its all too common cos its a easy target. I would be quite annoyed re this.
However Archbishop employed two ex policemen as an extra muscle to visit a women. Its uncalled for. Its typical of a bully who sent his henchos to do his job etc.
But there is no win situation for that women and a deceased Archbishop. Both lost out at the end.
What was more interesting was the use of ex police men muscle to visit a lady’s home to put the scare lights out of her.
Its quite an oppressive approach by rcc which they haven’t changed their leopard spots.

Inspired by all this talk of Betty Turpin and hotpot, I signed up to Britbox. The first 7 days are free and then £5.99 a month. It has complete series’ of Coronation St, some 10,000 episodes. I looked at one from 1982 and the hotpot was off, forcing Ivy and Vera Duckworth to go to the cafe, where Ivy had a big row with Gail Tilsley.
It’s brilliant.

Ivy Tilsley was a brilliant advert for Catholicism – always bitter, sharp tongued with staunch Roman Catholic beliefs. I don’t think they’ve portrayed a Catholic character since.

The cause of the row was that Gail had started working in the cafe. Ivy was opposed to that and asked who was looking after baby Nicky and she maintained that there was no need to work because Brian was earning good money abroad and sending plenty back to Wetherfield.

For her part, it wasn’t about money, Gail said, but was about getting out of the house. Ivy was mortified at this and stormed out.

I have to say that I don’t find the name “Ivy” to be typically Catholic. I think Tony Warren took the character names from headstones in a Manchester cemetery. Here in N Ireland, Ivy is a name that Protestant women of a certain age have. Other examples of such names are Iris, Myrttle, Iris and Arlene. It’s not an iron rule though. I met a Protestant Dolores once, which was confusing.

It was nearly as unexpected as that time I met a black man in Portadown via Grindr and he turned out to be, ahem, smaller than me.

@7:54: Living in Yorkshire about 20 years ago, I had all my preconceptions ( not prejudices) blown away on the train from Leeds to Manchester Airport. The charming young Pakistani woman about 30 years old I had helped with her large suitcase turned out to be an Irish passport holder, a GP doctor, born in Donegal, and spoke Gaelic to boot. She was very proud of her Irish roots and childhood.
It was a delightful and educative encounter.

Their legacy – spite, cruelty and exposure as totally unfit for office.

It sounds to me, + Pat, that you have seen off the blundering, blustering + Betty Turpin. I think he realises there is little he can do to stop you saying what you are saying. He’s retired from the field of battle. Probably because he realises that if he did take you on in litigation, there would be all sorts of other things that would come out – inconveniently. If you are going to go to litigation, you need to make sure that you have no dark secrets, no dark corners, because they will be winkled out. I think this guy has been told that it is not worth the hassle. Why do you think Purcell and co don’t sue ? Because they know they have a great deal to hide. So, + Pat, just keep on making life uncomfortable for these guys. They have had it too easy for too long, and have been able to get away with all sorts of things. Now, they have to keep watch over their shoulder, because you are there peering.over and taking an interest in what is going on ! Bravo !

What shite these bishops talk. He also said there was a need “to encourage a participatory institutional model of Church with a leadership of service,” This is all tinkering at the edges. The Church still has at its hearth a sacramental life that is provided by priests. But there are no priests. Talking about catechists, and participatory stuff is fudging the issue. The issue is by and large that priests have failed us, and that there are no priests of any value or virtue willing or able to take up the role. This Dublin guy needs to ask himself why. Well, simply because the notion of an all male celibate priesthood has been seen and found to be severely wanting, damaging, dysfunctional and dangerous to the life of the Church. Answer, which even some dolt headed bishop like this Dublin guy should be able to see – get rid fo what hobbles and damages priesthood, namely clericalism and celibacy, and replace it with a healthy and integrated priesthood that is not necessarily celibate, nor even male, nor even of one interpretation of what is normal, and let’s have a priesthood that is healthy, integrated, settled, happy, diverse, whole and functioning. Do that and things will be way better. But will they ? Of course not. Stupid twats.

Paisley is clearly being ran by the gay mafia. Keenan has selected a office of priests who are all on the same page as him.
Clearly it is going on. Glasgow priests are keeping a close eye on the nuncio’s decision for Glasgow, they have their resignation letters at the ready.
As for cover ups, interesting the people that have suddenly left under the Keenan guise, priests and staff. Possibly more interesting is the pay offs they all have left with.
