THE SCOTTISH DAISY CHAIN IS UNHAPPY BUT SCOTTISH PRIESTS AND LAITY ARE HAPPY AND RELIEVED.

SCOTTISH PRIEST WRITES:

The clergy and laity of Scotland are so impressed with your courage and transparency and I and many others are so relieved that its all come out into the open.

I’ve shed many tears these last few years as a priest of but these last few days have helped ease that pain.

Your blog and it’s contents are the talk of the diocese and country and people are loving it Pat that you had the courage to show these hypocrites up for who and what they really are.

Pat, I never once told you a lie or gossip but only ever shared FACTS. Bishop Keenan has misled his lawyer and the lawyer now knows that and is raging. The clergy and people of Scotland are delighted.

The bishop and the funeral director are raging but also spending a lot of time on the phone shocked that they have been exposed. Many people never going to use his company again.

Pat, you have them on the ropes. Please do not give in as you are landing blow after blue. Keenan is finished.

Pat, your a good man and have saved many souls this weekend. I look forward to speaking to And meeting you.

To show I’m credible I can confirm to you a brother priest has spoken to The Scottish Sun – have you heard from them?

PAT SAYS

Dear Brother, It does seem that the gay clerical clique in Scotland has been running wild for years and decades and has caused a lot of damage and hurt 😢

And its not just about celibate bishops and priests having sex with each other.

Its also about the nastiness of this clique bullying other priests and parishioners, promoting each other to diocesan and episcopal positions and targetting seminarians and other young men for seduction.

In Scotland, we have had the equivalent of the McCarrick Mafia in Scotland – led by KOB himself.

The Priesthood should be made up of a healthy diversity of people. Instead it has become homosexualised, to the exclusion of others.

I know its not easy – but Scottish priests and laity need to stand up and publicly challenge this cancer.

I hope John Keenan is gone as far as he can go. He should never have been made a bishop in the first place.

APPARENTLY BRIAN DARCY IS NOT HAPPY IN CROSSGAR AND WANTS BACK TO FERMANAGH 😭

Darcy

The word on the Irish clerical grapevine is that poor Brian is not happy in Crossgar and wants back to Enniskillen.

Part of the problem seems to be the fact that poor Brian has to live with Gary.

Gary Donegan

Oh, Dear! The Clash of the Egos.

The problem is that not everyone wants Darcy back in The Gran monastery.

Darcy took a vow of obedience so he has to go where he is sent and accept it humbly. He allowed the Graan and Mt Argus to become personality cults centred on him. Why can’t he live a quiet, obscure life of service and not be the centre of attention?

At a friends pleasure, I spent that evening at a Dublin hotel. I shared a lift with Brian D’Arcy … he looked alone , lonely and forlorn. He had no cognisance of me, masked as I was. His palour was that grey countenance of a broken man… like many the priest who gave his life for A Lie.

If Keenan has any sense he would do well to stay well clear of the undertaker.

My friend bought that boasting about a hot tub at that cost in the middle of COVID-19 with many Glaswegians dying from it was very insensitive. Not at all professional. As my friend said he( the undertaker) is a complete gob.

Gay cartels/mafias/chains are a fact of life of RC clergy – Bishop Pats blog is an irritant and inconvenience because it exposes them but they are like rats they breed and prosper where there is filth and there’s plenty of that.
What will happen if Bishops Pats Blog wasn’t here – who would shine the light then?
My hope is that Pats Blog continues into perpetuity and more and more dissident clerical and lay get involved in exposing the rats on the sinking ship as they scurry off into the deep abyss.
The homosexualization of the clerical caste is a disaster but it’s not new and neither is child abuse – what’s new is it’s exposure.
I reckon many Catholic saints are homosexual – Newman (uncontestable), Bernard of Clairvaux to mention only two and homosexuals make saints of other homosexuals – it’s the biggest gay club in history!!
I personally think that celibacy, combined with homosexual clergy mixed in with child abuse won’t so much lead to the destruction of the RCC it HAS led to the destruction of the RCC – all we are seeing and will see over the next 100 years is it’s death cry – it’s like a human body riddled with an inoperable cancer – it’s terminal and fatal and the truth is a total bitch.

Like

09.00 am,

I too welcome Pat’s challenge to misbehaving clergy but ultimately no one has been “exposed” here. They have been given a minor scare, that’s all. Not one Daisy Chain member has been named meaning that, after some mild irritation over a few blog articles, they will just carry on as usual.

I agree with what you say regarding the terminal condition of the Church – but only the (currently) mainstream Catholic Church, which today – by design – is little more than a protestant denomination. It will indeed just fade away over the coming decades, thanks to both the never ending scandals and the slop it serves up in place of Christianity.

Will will happen, however, is the traditional Church will continue to grow to take over from what is currently mainstream. We already see futile efforts to arrest this process, such as Francis’ desperate “traditionis custodes” motu proprio.

He lied that his move was necessary due to supposed divisions, but in reality what we have is pathetic old men trying to shore up 50 years of their failed Nu-Church project. Their great hubris prevents them from acknowledging the failure and they prefer to keep running the Church into the ground, rather than to accept reality.

I suppose it cant be easy for clergy in their 70s to accept that 50-odd years of ministry has been a wasteful failure, but anyone with a hint of humility and maturity ought to be able to accept the truth.

As long as wouldbe “catholics” fixate on sex and liturgy they will be no use to the Church Invisible.

Gabriel Syme,
I, too, am very surprised at the enthusiasm among “the priests and laity of Scotland” who are “happy and relieved” at the commentary on this blog, albeit without the promised names being published – not intended as a criticism, because blog administrators have many things to weigh in the balance. No, my commentary is a criticism of the fast-asleep-for-far-too-long Scottish clergy and laity. They are suddenly awake, thanks to an Irish blog, when there is only ONE Catholic blog and publication in Scotland which has, for years now, been trying to waken up their sleepy heads. It doesn’t occur to them to check out Catholic Truth? Why? Because the administrator is a woman? Because the bloggers at Catholic Truth, generally speaking, attend the Traditional Latin Mass – you know, the Mass which the saints and martyrs attended? What then? It’s really mind-boggling.
“Happy and relieved” was certainly not the reaction when I DID publish names of priests engaged in the “gay” scene some years ago – every one of whom has left the priesthood. I was labelled “judgmental” (among other things), had a hate campaign mounted against me by those involved, and if I sound a tad miffed, well, can you believe it. I had to make the police aware of what was going on and dear old Ronnie Convery assured the cops that he would “have a word” (with the clergy involved) since the archdiocese didn’t want to give Catholic Truth any publicity. Hilarious. Note, note because no priest should be harassing any lay person like that, but to deprive us of publicity. Truly, you could not make this stuff up.
So, I’m just thrilled to bits that the priests and laity of Scotland are now happy and relieved, despite not having a single name to put to any of the claims. Again, this is not intended as a criticism of Pat Buckley, it’s just little short of hilarious to witness the apparent glee and compare it to the reaction to my reports some years back. You don’t think it’s anything to do with me being a mere woman, do you? Latin Mass? Not being a “Miss World” look-a-like?
Nor was “happy and relieved” the reaction of the “priests and laity” in Scotland when Father Matthew Despard published HIS book, giving names and identities of homosexually active clergy in Scotland. He was dragged through the courts and is still suspended from priestly ministry.
So, forgive me for not being thrilled to bits at the news of a Scottish Catholic community “happy and relieved” that you have published the news, hidden in plain sight, that we have a sexually promiscuous clergy in Scotland – with some laudable exceptions. Shucks. We never know what a new day will bring, do we…

The Editor, Patricia, does brilliant work but she hasn’t yet got the fame – his enemies would say notoriety – of Bishop P, honed through years of journalism, activism and showstopping clashes with Cahal Daly. Pat scares the bishops because they are clericalists to the core so don’t care about what a layperson writes, and even less so about what a woman of traditional outlook writes.

Pat also knows a lot of people in Irish clerical circles and is tough-skinned enough to plough on despite incessant abuse directed at him. I’d say his biggest achievement to date was to clean up Maynooth and to force weak bishops such as Noel Treanor, Eamon Martin, Dermo Martin, Denis Nulty and Tom Deenihan to deal with “wanting to have it all” priests. He is still chipping away at the OCSOs and now the Scots priests, who have had it too good for too long. The whole Basil Hume approach of “be careful, Father, don’t get caught” has been smashed by Pat Buckley.

But CTS deserves every credit for what it has done too, for example in supporting Fr Despard to shed light on very murky affairs and in trying to halt the ordination of that Westminster pretty boy.

Patricia, I share most, if not all of your outlook and would like to add comments on your blog but don’t because there are too many hoops to go through, with registration etc. You are of course perfectly entitled to run your blog however you wish, but the free and easy, sometimes anarchic, open nature of Pat’s blog makes it easier to comment on his blog. I also should acknowledge that Pat is generous in that he has put up conservative comnents by me that are likely to be far from Pat’s own outlook, so I thank him for that.

I would be far more bothered that people like JP2, Theresa and Josemaria Escriva are saint, and the attitude of cruelty that canonises than the others. Neither Newman nor Bernard of Clairvaux would have been seen as gay at the time they lived, because the idea of a sexual orientation didn’t exist.
Yes Bernard’s letters come across as gay now, as do Newman’s friendships.
The more problematic of the two would be Newman to my mind because of being canonised in an age where his behaviour would have raised questions – certainly about his suitability to seminary.
Even more problematic is the way he held grudges – that’s not heroic virtue.

Perhaps I should say I think your analysis of the church’s future is spot on.

I don’t mean to add to the pressure on your to publish the names. I am simply open-mouthed at the reaction of Scottish priests and laity (I’d love to know THEIR names!) who welcome the information you have published. They would hang me out to dry if I published those same names, believe me.
Do take comfort from the fact though, that (as you have already discovered via the Bishop Keenan threat) the legal threats seldom, if ever, come to anything.
One of the priests who was either named by Fr Despard or identifiable from what Fr D had written, publicly threatened (from his pulpit) to take Fr Despard to court. He didn’t. Those guilty of these sins don’t really want them aired in any court of law.
I have indicated in our September newsletter (shortly to be despatched) that there IS much scandal looming, and that I plan to report on this in our next newsletter (November).

Shortage of reply buttons, so this is a response to those kind people who have generously praised my unworthy self. However, I really do not want (let alone, merit) praise.
Thank you, too, bishoppat but I’m far from brave.
I won’t go into the details of how it came about that I published the names of some sexually active priests some years ago – long story, no point now anyway, since they’re gone to their various new professions, which don’t prohibit involvement in the LGBT+ lifestyle. Suffice to say, I did not undertake the task with enthusiasm – merely with a sense of duty, but, to be honest, I’m not sure it made any difference. I don’t think the laity care much any more. The Faith (and morals) have been so dumbed-down now, that I honestly doubt if there are many who care if their priests are sexually active, whether with men or women. I really do mean that. It’s not the possibility of court action that would bother me now, either – again, I don’t think the clergy would bother – but this kind of “fraternal correction” makes life unpleasant in many other ways. One of the most ironic situations was when I was presented with clear evidence that a top (lay) official within the archdiocese of Glasgow was involved in an extra-marital affair. I was deeply concerned that his wife may not know about it and that our reports could destroy his family. I went through the process, having really made the decision, back of my mind, not to report it for the sake of his family, when he sent me a flurry of legal letters. One to every imaginable address he could find for me. Receiving the letters almost made me reverse my decision NOT to publish. I came very close to publishing. I was so disgusted with him (he’s well known as a nasty piece of work) that I even ditched Plan B which was to assure him that I wouldn’t publish, at least for now, if he would assure me that he would put an end to the affair. In the end, I just let it go, clear in the knowledge that he knows that I know that he knows that I know what he is really like. If you get my drift. The “other woman” was not happy with me, at all. Between “gays” and “mistresses”, I’m not a popular gal, at all, at all…
To the Anonymous who thinks there are too many hoops to jump through to get onto our blog. Can’t see why. It’s WordPress like this one, so same registration system – in fact, if you’re already registered with WP you should have no hoops to jump through at all. However, if you mean that you don’t like our system of discussing topics in a kind of systematic way, that’s a pity, but the reason Pat Buckley can allow open discussion here is because, well (there’s no easy way to say this) there really only IS one topic here, as far as I can tell – homosexuality in various guises and contexts. Each to his own, I say…
Happy St Patrick’s Day when it comes, folks!

The older buildings were unsuitable with HIQUA requirements, thus the necessity to redesign older buildings or build new ones. All perfectly right, just and acceptable. Having worked with 3 female orders of teaching and nursing sisters, all monies received are being given to various funds for their apostolates of teaching and nursing. Some of the monies have been used to fund mission projects- schools, medical facilities, homes – which these 3 orders are involved with in India, Africa, Chile. The huge financial requirements to assist and help with these necessary projects are possible through the same of land and properties. I also know as chairperson of schools that the orders who are trustees have contributed huge amounts for the ongoing development of and building of extra resources for their schools. I know of no sister religious who has ever extravagantly spent money on themselves out of such acquired monies. One order of sisters helped build 3 schools in the Sudan for girls who until 15 years ago were not allowed to have any education. Now there are almost over 1,200 girls receiving the great gift of education, even up to 3rd level, all made possible through the same of lands…Perhaps when you research you will find that some religious orders have established social outreach initiatives for the homeless, those who haven’t finished education, those who are drug addicts, alcoholics and refugees. Search honestly and I hope I’m not sensing a hint of begrudgery.

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines, as you stare weirdly at some pretty boy

Could not be further from the TRUTH I have no idea who Bishop Buckley is speaking about however One thing I do know is that I am loyal to Holy Mother church and everything will be kept inhouse.

The best thing Fr Charles did was abolishing the serving of cups of tea in the pews during the Graan novena services. Not afterwards, but during.

It was so cringe seeing Darcy run about with a big teapot.

At the best of times, the new Mass is a performance centred on the priest as host/compere/entertainer – hence “that was a lovely Mass, Father”. Darcy, however, took it to a new level in the Graan.
Entering through the crowds, he smiled, nodded and pointed at favourites, like Bill Clinton coming into a Democrat convention.
Eschewing the chasuble (the symbol of charity) but keeping the stole (the symbol of authority), Brian declines to use the Benedict translation. Mass belongs to Brian, after all.
At the words of institution, he leans over, lowers his voice and slows down to a snail’s pace and puts on a sincere, strange quasi-operatic voice. It’s a total performance and his groupies love it.
For the homily he serves up a mix of heresy, folk wisdom and showband anecdotes, with a bit of name-dropping too.
Brian doesn’t have a sacristy. He has a green room and the sanctuary is his stage.

I do be having spiritual orgasms when he celebrates mass. He is just wonderful, even if he looks like Pharaoh Thutmose IV. I defy anyone of you haters to deny that there is a striking similarity between our Brian and the mummified corpse of Thutmose IV

God bless all embalmers, especially the ones who will have to work on our Brian

Their like the Nazis – I was following orders – if he had dodged some bullets I hope what goes around comes around and they come and bite him on the arse.
As I say I’m sure IICSA resulted in a promotion or two for keeping stum and playing ball and an open tenure on a property of choice – a well over £500,000 property in leafy Oxfordshire for Kenny with a ‘housekeeper’ to wash his dirty underpants!!

I don’t understand the fascination with Fr D’Arcy. His various appearances on radio and television are characterised by an attempt to be novel and refreshing, I have to say I find priests who talk as he does to be anything but. The main party piece he and others pull out of the bag is celibacy. It is fair enough to wonder if the church should return to the earlier practice about admitting already married men to Holy Orders. However I find this whinging about wanting to have a family etc. to be most tiresome as the commitment to celibacy was no secret and was freely undertaken. Would it not be far more edifying and indicative of a life of service to bear the sacrifice with a dignified patience.

Not sure how brave Miss McKeever is: she uses correspondents with fake identities to solicit information. Not sure how much ‘Truth’ is involved there! If I were you, I’d think twice about giving such praise to the Sugar Plum Fairy – Karma’s a, well, not a nice lady! (p.s. no point in her denying it, should she wish to. The evidence speaks for itself.)

On the topic of yesterday, I’m glad to hear of the Scottish priest’s delight. Hypocrites must be exposed and they must catch themselves on. As always, I have sympathy for the LGBT community in committed relationships who feel shunned by the Church.
