DAISY CHAIN NAMES SENT TO SCOTTISH BISHOP’S CONFERENCE PRESIDENT.

Hugh Gilbert

THE NAMES of those clerics alleged to be part of the gay priests clique, THE DAISY CHAIN have been sent by post to the president of the Scottish Episcopal Conference, HUGH GILBERT of Aberdeen.

He has been asked to share the list with his fellow Scottish bishops.

Last week, the names were sent to the UK papal nuncio and Cardinal Marc Ouellet of the Vatican’s congregation for bishops

These names have been provided by two serving Scottish priests who are weary of all the carry on and corruption.

PARENTS CONCERNED:

I have also been contacted by Scottish catholic parents who ate worried about their children encountering any of these priests in churches and schools etc.

WORLD YOUTH DAY 2023:

A particular worry of parents is the 2023 WORLD YOUTH DAY in Portugal.

During previous WYD’s it has emerged that priests have targetted mainly young men for sexual reasons.

Priests have asked 17 year old boys for their mobile numbers and told them not to tell their parents about the contact.

Young men have been asked to send priests their used underwear!

City authorities cleaning up after WYD have had to clean up a large number of used condoms.

If I were a Catholic parent I would not allow my son or daughter to attend WYD.

I would feel I woukd be putting them in emotional, moral and sexual danger.

PLEASE PRAY 🙏 FOR MURRAY’S VICTIMS OVER THE NEXT THREE DAYS

Many men and women have been aware of the existence of the Daisy Chain for years. I am mystified that Edinburgh is not included in the list of dioceses books could be written about the goings on there and as for the weekly dinners these have been witnessed long ago and I will eat my straw hat if anything is done what will happen is that the clerical and lay persons gay network will protect and deflect this issue they already know each other they are sitting to dine with one another nothing will change as you can see from this blog no further names have been offered why not ? Why the delay ? If you truly believe that the hierarchy will do anything to address this then you are truly misled they are not interested in the truth nor action they are already aware

10.40: One priest is not every priest. You have absolutely no clear data or evidence to validate your claim about WYD “predator pruests”. Give us research from any such event to prove your outrageous slur, lie and offensive allegation.

Like

Not you again! asking for academic research when it is abundantly clear that the RCC is full of predatory priests. May I suggest you type “priest” into google search each day and then click on the “news” tab – and you will find daily accounts of perversion carried out by RCC priests.

Like

Sadly ‘father’ your denial offence is bound to backfire. Nowhere did the original commenter say all priests are predators – I will merely comment that that is in your mind and leave the reader to infer the likely meaning of that.
World Youth Day is now notorious for an associated uptick in the sex industry:
https://amp.couriermail.com.au/news/national/sex-boom-from-youth-day/news-story/abc7ce17ed9a9d0cbe805c590b45a6f9
https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/vatican-releases-explicit-sex-ed-for-teens-that-leaves-aside-parents-and-mo/
The clean up of used condoms afterwards has also been documented.
If you are seriously trying to make out that the RC priesthood, which has a realistic proportion of sexual active priests of 50% are not joining in the orgy, you are either incredibly naive or trying to pull the wool over readers’ eyes.

@10:17
Let me explain to you how normal people see Catholic priests because you don’t get it. It is not a matter of justice, it is caused by the priesthood’s lying about celibacy.
There is a very simple reason people will not trust priests but will trust, say, a gay uncle, which is that the gay uncle is being honest. A priest’s very ordination says he is not having sex so the ongoing revelations about clerical sex of any sort mean that a significant proportion of priests are lying. Since you will react angrily to this let me make clear that in the public mind this makes the gay uncle honest and any sexually active priest a liar.
It doesn’t matter whether you think this is fair or not – out here in the real world you have lost any moral integrity or respect from people.
You may say that not every priest is sexually active but the few that are not are far between and the likelihood is any priest is sexually active. May I remind you that celibacy means perfect continence so not even masturbation.
Again whether you agree doesn’t matter, this is what your life proclaims.
The public don’t see clergy of other denominations like this because they are not expected to be celibate so are not lying in the way every sexually active Catholic priest is.
This duplicity is magnified exponentially by the covering up of abuse and refusal to engage with authorities.
If you don’t want people to see priests like that I suggest you do something about the lying with the hierarchy, rather than having a go at people who are only suffering from the effect of your colkeagues’ duplicity.

Quite a number of Catholic priests are having sex because they are married. Ordination is not an obstacle to marriage.

Thank you for perfectly illustrating my point. The general public is aware of the vanishingly few exceptions to celibacy in the Latin rite.
The reality (as opposed to the fiction articulated by you) is that the public don’t look at a Catholic priest and think, Oh wow, he must be on Grindr because he’s a married former Anglican priest.
Carry on as you are, though, because you merely reinforce that supposedly celibate priests are habitual liars.
And fools, in your case.

The evidence shows when serious subjects are discussed a contribution from MC will be included. However, the quality of those contributions is the issue. On academic points he’s always out of his depth. That’s not surprising in the case of a Wikipedia patron who can’t assess what he regurgitates. On existential matters he’s tendentious and skewed. I’m not sure + Gilbert will have any clue as to what a gay ‘daisy chain’ is ! So, good luck there ! Even still, the litany of sexual misdemeanors / behaviours / culture that you outline today – daisy chains, WYD predators, and Murray’s upcoming trial – are a commentary on where clerical life and culture has got to. I guarantee if you go to any diocese in Ireland / Scotland / England / Wales, you will find elements of these behaviours alive and kicking. Many are known about by other priests and by bishops. They are known about by laypeople. However, there just seems to be an acceptance that such things are part of the background / landscape of the diocese and clergy life. Things have to change. You can try to root them out as you are doing, + Pat, by highlighting them and hopefully forcing people in to action. But, the danger with that is it can cause these behaviours to go further underground, and if enforcement action is taken then an outflow of clergy. At present, I accept that there is probably no other course of action than pointing out the dysfunction in our clergy ranks, in the absence of any inclination on the part of bishops and the Vatican to grasp the nettle – probably because they are part of this culture, educated it, ordained in to it, and invested heavily in it. I think a much more constructive and positive way forward would be a clear and honest reformation of clerical life and the priesthood – drop mandatory clerical celibacy, ordain married me, ordain women, ordain a whole range of diverse people who reflect the reality of the Church’s people, change the elitist, exceptional, arrogant, special theology of priesthood in which clergy are educated and formed. First that means recognising the toxicity of clerical celibacy, clerical exceptionalism, clerical unaccountability etc.as exists at present. These things are at the root of clerical dysfunction. Deal with them, and over time you can have a much more balanced, integrated, and healthy clerical culture and life, without much of the dysfunctional behaviour that we currently see. That will take action at the highest level, and I’m not confident there is the stomach for that. So, in the meantime, + Pat, keep embarrassing the hell out of them, shine the light in to their darkest corners and crevices, and keep up the pressure. It is a long term project. They / it will eventually crumble.

Poor parents think WYD has to do with God and the Church etc – that’s the last thing it’s about – it’s about the opportunity for debauchery and exploitation by the clergy.
How do I know?
I went to a WYD some years ago – saw Basil Hume eyeing up the male eye candy – he seemed not to see women it was all about posh young public school fodder and the screaming hypocrisy of Westminster diocese – Feltzman, Brown and some young buck called Fr Luke who was showing off holding hands with a young women he picked up – saw many clergy pissed and off their heads on Polish Vodka but up for Mass the next day right as rain.

French director Marie-Pierre Raimbault and investigative journalist Eric Quintin shot the documentary ‘Sex Slaves in the Catholic Church’ over three years, basing it on first-hand testimony of nuns who claim they were used as “sex slaves” by priests. The women say that when they presented their allegations to church authorities at the Vatican, they were ignored and often moved elsewhere in a cover-up that stretched across four continents. This investigation reveals that thousands of nuns were sexually abused for decades by priests across all continents. From 1994 until 2015, the Vatican was alerted by internal confidential reports about churchmen that regularly rape nuns in more than 23 countries. These reports have been hushed up and the rapists continue to harm freely. With the complicity of the ecclesiastical courts, their victims have been reduced to silence, sometimes pushed to abort, often excluded from their community. For the first time, the victim nuns, their superior mothers, priests, and rapists break the silence to testify to these systemic sexual abuses.

Incidentally something which isn’t clear in the post is why the priests choose World Youth Day to do this – offences committed abroad may not be tried here: an Ealing monk admitted to a sexual offence against a boy in the school and had no penalty because it took place during a school trip to Italy.

No wonder MMM is an atheist, with such deep division and acrimony among people, Christians, who profess belief in monotheism.
When I was in the ‘Wing’, I remember a particular hymn, not its title, but certain words therein: ‘dogmas keeping man from man’. A surprising, but delightful, addition in a Catholic hymnal.
I remember, too, one student objecting to those words, and I thought you, ******, will make it your life’s work to entrench and perpetuate those lamented divisions.
MMM has hit upon something that many Christians are too dogmatically proud to see, but nevertheless have been warned about by Jesus himself: treat others as you would have them treat you.
I’m betting MMM will be in Heaven before most Christians, including me.

If MMM is doing his best to live that proverbial advice, then he is already living Heaven, but on earth. He does not have to believe in it to live it.

It is living Heaven, here and ultimately, that matters, not believing in it: ‘Not all those who cry ” Lord! Lord! ” (believers) will enter the kingdom of heaven’.

Incidentally, do you know what the phrase ‘kingdom of heaven’ means in Aramaic? It means, quite literally, ‘God’s sovereign presence’. And Jesus said that this kingdom, God’s actual presence, is within each and every one of us. Religious belief too often distracts from this innate capacity for self-transformation.

Some people would do better by giving up their religious beliefs and, instead, focus just on being good.

MMM did.

So KoG in Aramaic means quite literally ‘God’s sovereign presence.’ Hardly literally. In Aramic it’s two words to your three. Aramaic doesn’t have a word for the abstract noun presence. Semitic languages prefer concrete expressions to abstract nouns.

Any why do you ask the question in the first place as if there were something more primitive about it? The earliest Gospel doesn’t use the expression. But the second generation Matthew does – as a reverential periphrastic substitute for Mark’s ‘the Kingdom of God.’ If you were interested in going back to an original concept, that would be the one to go for.

Your Final Blessing, so sweet but unnecessary, again assumes I wasn’t at peace, when I’m as peaceful and as happy as a sand boy.
I’m bet you any money you can’t resist the temptation of another come back or are you going to accept defeat and move graciously on?

Pertinent quote:
‘More pertinently, cowardice is never the same as fighting for what matters in this world, whatever the personal cost.’
Applies to every RC priest in ‘good’ standing.

The phrase “airhead socialist” occurring at the beginning and end of this piece – an inclusio Quintilian would call it, is proof enough that the subject knows little or nothing about the social teaching of the church. The Anglicans are welcome to him.

Several interesting things have come out again today.
I am still interested that Magna Carta’s very existence is a red rag to the holy priests.
And when they also go mad when it is pointed out a supposedly celibate priest who is sexually active, is lying….
And also start howling lies at someone who it turns out actually quit WYD because of concern at the safety….
And also scream that they’re a priest to someone who clearly said they’re a parent…
Well these things are very telling aren’t they.

6.05: What’s the meaning of this rubbishy comment? Adds nothing worthwhile to the issues being discussed. Can you offer something intelligent?

I see Seamus the 8th made an appearance yesterday looking for sympathy. I wish he would start commenting again, it was so fun to see the floor being wiped with him 🤣

Beware all the parallel WYDs that only coincide on the big night. I knew of two 15 year olds who permanently left the church after being (shall we say) abandoned.

Some “movements” take lots of under 21s away. A large batch of them dropped out of the church at the same time.

Won’t be contributing to this blog now or later. In dream, leave it. I was surprised after the dream, it doesn’t appeal to me anymore re this blog.
Its a blog for priests and sems as well. As I realised it cis kept seeing diocese appointments in this blog which I have no interest in. It’s their world, not laity world re gossip and salacious stories or tales.
But I would read it from time to time & that’s about it.

Totally agree DG. Some of my moderate posts (they always are) regarding Paisley were not printed. Quite frankly this blog has become quite bitchy. I do not object to exposing evil but I certainly object to innuendo, gossip and the hounding of individuals without foundation. No one is answerable to any anonymous individual.
I am sure a lot of enemies have been created from street preachers to the RCC.
I do not want involved anymore.
Best regards to you DG.

On the topic of today, with the carry on of the daisy hypocrites, it is sadly no surprise to hear of the WYD claims. It is terrible. Absolutely terrible.
A lot of the clean-up however will be from the social gathering of consenting youths, getting carried away with young love.
I do not doubt however that there are predators about as alluded to. It’s the sort of event that they will disgracefully target.
The hypocrites must be exposed but they have a habit of deceiving, sweeping things under the carpet and finding ways of minimising scandal.
