DANGEROUS SELF APPOINTED VIGILANTES.

**** PLEASE WATCH SHORT VIDEO

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=210305393676867&id=101992534508154

Some vigilantes are well-meaning but misguided. Others are just thugs looking for an excuse to vent their inner anger and aggression.

The guy in the video above strikes me as not very intelligent and with an exaggerated opinion of himself and his abilities.

PAEDOPHILIA – A MOST SERIOUS CRIME

The sexual abuse of children and vulnerable adults is a most heinous crime and calls for condemnation, police investigation, court processes and imprisonment.

These is no excuse for this inexcusable crime.

REHABILITATION IN AND OUTSIDE OF PRISON

As well as punishment pardophiles must accept the horrors and seriousness of what they have done and be ready to accept lifelong therapy, supervision and condition management by the court system and social services.

Paedophiles who do not admit their guilt and accept rehab have a more serious problem and should then be considered for further detention and more intense supervision.

Over the years I have worked with both paedophiles and victims of abuse.

I have identified two types of paedophile:

1. Those who admit their wrongs and want help.

2. Those who do not admit their wrongs and are quite likely to abuse again.

You can help the first but not the second.

NO ONE SHOULD TAKE THE LAW INTO THEIR OWN HANDS

On this crime, and on all crimes, we should allow the police, social services, the courts and prisons to deal with them.

In our society, people do not take the law into their own hands and shoukd not be allowed to do so.

The ejit above who tackled the man in the garage shop was totally out of order.

If he was worried he should have rung the Garda.

PAEDOPHILES AFTER PRISON

All prisoners who have served their time and paid their debt to society are entitled to live in peace.

If they are wise they will move to a new area where they are not known, make themselves known to the police there and live an ordered and legal existence.

Part of that is engaging in the ongoing management of their condition – somewhat like an alcoholic who uses AA to keep himself on the straight and narrow.

A paedophile will and can’t ever be rehabilited, all about control, same way you can’t correct a person who is gay…

That man is passionate and pissed off, people are entitled to vent and sometimes people resort to taking the law into their own hands because they have no choice…. The law isn’t helping these people nor is the health services, and they allowed to wander the streets to hurt people… they are frustrated from the lack of help and support…

A homeless man in town who’s deranged was on a rampage the other night, up and down the town going skitzo with himself, some poor girl was waiting for a lift after finishing her shift, when he passed and went to attack her, he bate cars in the street afterwards, guards were called by randomers and they came to me to find out what happened as I happened to be there , they said it wasn’t enough to bring him into the cells for the night, they picked him up and dropped him off at the back of dunnes . That girl got an awful fright…

Having understanding for a paedophile is commendable your level of defense of them unhinges people…

That idiot in the videos should be brought to the local police station. His children are unfortunate. He is not a positive role model as a parent. A complete plonker. He needs help. Convicted paedophiles who have served a sentence and allowed back into society will never be at peace. They will always be in danger from vigilante groups. I believe they must be given supervision. Many narratives written on blogs very often incite a violence and deep hatred of paedophiles. I don’t agree with violence or revenge but children and vulnerable people must be protected from any abuser or paedophile.

Like

I tend to agree, but without them, Frs Matthew Jolley and Gregory Loughney would be in ministry and Newcastle seminarian, James Leigh, ordained.

Oh, dear, I couldn’t be bothered to trawl through this man’s idiotic and ignorant nonsense on the various FB posts. God help his young daughter, having a father like that swearing and behaving in such an ignorant and bog way. I’d say she’s likely to be more damaged by being brought up by him that by anything else she might encounter in life.

On another note, concerning those abusers who do not accept their guilt. Alexander Bede Walsh, erstwhile prominent priest of the Archdiocese of Birmingham, who was convicted of serious sexual crimes against youngsters, and who was given a very rigorous sentence of something like 22 years, still does not accept his guilt and is arrogantly refusing to take part in any attempt at rehabilitation. He will not be released at the usual 50% served time because of his obduracy and refusal to accept his crimes and to engage. He may well even find himself doing the whole of his 22 years in the final analysis. I suspect that Walsh is encouraged in this by a coterie of clergy who, similarly, do not accept his guilt and have consistently encouraged him to stand his ground. No doubt one of these will be his loyal and longtime friend, Father Aldo Tapparo, who appeared in full clericals confidently and arrogantly accompanying Walsh in to court on many occasions in that grossly self-satified and arrogant clericalism that priests like Tapparo exhibit. So, it is not just the perpetrator himself who is the cause of his refusal to accept guilt and to engage in rehabilitation, it is also those clerical supporters around him who are to blame for this. Perhaps + Nursey should be encouraging those priests who visit and support Walsh to change tack and suggest to him, not least for his sake, that he plays ball and takes this time in prison seriously to address his predilections and weaknesses, and to engage with rehabilitation. Otherwise he will remain in prison for a very, very long time. Mind you, would that be a bad thing for the likes of Walsh ? His crimes were egregious. His arrogance astounding.

Can I reassure you again as you do not seem to understand and like to constantly keep mentioning Archbishop Longley
The Archdiocese of Birmingham including it’s very able Archbishop and well experienced Auxiliary Bishop’s have NO yes NO problem now.
And further more the people staff and patients at St. Chads think he is a very Holy Man also his parishioners and fellow clergy Love him as well.
Contact Archbishop’s House and they will inform you of the facts.

Like

Sorry ? They have no problem now ? Are you trying to kid yourself ? Of course they have problems – think of Oscott for one and the culture there and what goes on. As well as many others. Including falling congregations, consequent disastrous fall in income, clergy dying / retiring / disappearing / going to prison…… You may not know about them, but they will eventually crawl out of the undergrowth for all to see. What a fool you are to think that there are no problems lurking. + Longley might be a lovely and holy man, according to you, but he is pretty ineffective and avoids confrontation and difficult decisions. He doesn’t like the bother. Well, that’s notexactly why he is there, in order to have a quiet life. He’s there to lead. In the meantime, the edifice falls down around his head, but I guess he isn’t too bothered as long as he has a quiet life and can eventually wander off in to genteel retirement. As for the well experienced Auxiliary bishops, well, they’ve only been in harness for the last year or so. I don’t call that well experienced ! Increasingly, +Longley and his associates are becoming irrelevant as people move away and the Church becomes something that doesn’t impinge on their lives anymore. Unless they get a grip, things will just go from bad to worse.

Like

If Longley appoints effete staff to the Oscott faculty, it’s obvious the seminarians will reflect them. Fr Marsden was onto something; he didn’t go about it correctly. It has virtually become a national seminary and responsibility ought to be removed from Longley. Or close the place down. It would make a good luxury hotel.

It’s at again, asking people to contact Archbishop’s House who will inform you of the facts. That will be right, only the “facts” they want you to hear.😉

@1135 – Father David Marsden, erstwhile of Oscott and various other seminaries where he was ‘let go’ / sacked, had his own problems such as an inordinate interest in the masturbatory habits of the seminarians. Weird, or what ?!

He may have given you worse than the clap. I’d go and get yourself tested for the whole range of STIs if I were you – HIV, syphilis, Hep B and C, chlamydia, herpes, trichomoniasis….even check for pubic lice. Father Cochrane would be appalled at what the Priest hood has turned out to be. Flamboyant, weird, effeminate, strange, out of touch with reality and utterly psychotic. Imagine these fools where allowed to marry. Imagine they are even ‘straight’ (highly unlikely), could you imagine the wives they would have? Sheer lunacy this vocation has become.

Was Leigh at Oscott ? Certainly Jolly was. And numerous others. Perhaps they should have a roll call put up on the wall in one of the corridors of ex-Oscottians who have been in trouble for this kind of thing.

Seminaries - they turn out people like Leigh and Jolly with monotonous regularity....says:

If you took the seminarian population of Ireland and the UK and worked out over a period of years what percentage of that seminarian population found themselves in trouble because of sexual interests that are contrary to the law – and that would only figure those that were caught / found out / convicted – I wonder how that would compare to a similar number in other walks of life / institutions / organisations ? My suspicion is that it will be very much higher in the seminarian cohort. Why ? Well, probably because seminaries attract men who have a whole range of underlying psycho-sexual and other failings, and attracts those who have various arrested emotional, sexual and psychological maturity, often attracted by the all male exclusivity of the seminary / priesthood, as well as by the clerical culture of being special, set aside, ontological difference, deference, unaccountability etc etc. Why these things are not picked up by the psychological screening that is supposed to be done, I don’t know, although I suspect that this checking is done by those who have an affinity with the Church and the priesthood, and so favour a certain kind of character. There is definitely a trend and a character type that is attracted to seminaries, and amongst these a subset, like Leigh and Jolly, who are at the dangerous, predatory and dysfunctional end of the spectrum. I just don’t understand how they get in to seminary in the first place, and ever get ordained. Do our seminarian staff know what they are doing ? Are they professionally trained ? Are they just self-delusional amateurs ? Do they even care ? Well, somebody needs to ask some very serious questions, because these places are turning out people like Leigh and Jolly and others with monotonous regularity. If I can work this out, why can’t the bishops ?

Like

2.18pm. Were you refused entry to seminary or allowed in for a while before being thrown out?

The fact that you can both work that out and verbalize it already puts you far above bishops and formators!
You may be interested in this article about St John’s Seminary, Camarillo, which has an interesting history of turning out incredibly high numbers of abusers. I think the statistics you wonder about would be borderline or not statistically significant for most seminaries, but Camarillo has been different.

Disgraceful comment @2.18. When I was in Maynooth, over the course of my time there I lived with over a thousand seminarians, between those who were in the years above me and those who joined after me. Not one seminarian was ever arrested or convicted of anything. These two who were caught thanks to the good efforts of vigilantes, were in Oscott, and there was also an arrest in Wonersh. That’s it.

Like

It’s sad the way priests’lives are totally self-referential. The defensive jumping up and down at a well phrased criticism of seminary ‘formation’ is interesting enough. But then to conclude that the critic wanted to be a priest himself just shows how very very special they think they are 😂

@2:57 – no to both. I was in a seminary and was ordained and worked as a priest and am still a priest. I just happen to know how priests and seminarians and seminaries operate and behave. There’s nothing like insider knowledge. I speak the truth as I see it and know it.

11.39: Were you caught yourself? Are you shamed? These videos do not feature any cleric and this vigilante group are very professional at catching people from all walks of life. This kind of paedophile activity is horrific and disgusting. These videos are essential in an effort to warn potential abusers.

Classic RCC clerical deflection there. Leigh was a seminarian. His bishop gave the court a character reference for him. Jolley and Loughney’s are both priests happily caught in sting operations. Odd that the RC church keeps assuring us it has dealt with child sexual abuse, but we keep getting new clerical perverts uncovered.

I think vigilantism where RC clergy is concerned is a good thing – I’d like to see more clergy entrapped and prosecuted because of vigilantes – to make an omelette ya gotta break a few eggs!!

4.28: Vigilantism is a good thing where RC are concerned, you contend. Where is your evidence showing facts and statistics re: priests caught by vigilante groups? Just curious. Paedophile abusers deserve to be caught and brought before the courts. All the people caught by the English vigilante Group are in denial and utterly dangerous. One cleric was caught….how many more? Can you tell us? Again just curious about what you know…
