Is this the beginning of the Vatican reducing Irish dioceses from 26 to 11?
It’s been talked about for a long time.
I’m not sure bigger dioceses with more remote bishops is not the way to go?
Bishops are already more remote.
Many of them are not even doing all the Confirmations any more.
