Since the beginning of Lent the cardinals who will elect the future pope have been passing this memorandum around. Its author, who goes by the name of Demos, “people” in Greek, is unknown, but shows himself a thorough master of the subject. It cannot be ruled out that he himself is a cardinal.

Francis’ papacy has been very divisive.
He has certainly allowed traditional beliefs on many issues to be challenged and reexamined.
A lot of RCs around the world love to hate Francis , especially the Conservative and TLM ones.
They will want a new pope to return the RCC to “the old ways”.
I do not think that will happen.
The genie is out of the bottle.
The RCC has been exposed as an internationally corrupt entity in which massive sexual abuse has occurred.
It will take a lot more than a smiley new pope to put things right.
The world now knows the emperor has no clothes.
