OR SHOULD THAT BE – “OPEN YOUR LEGS” ?
What mother or father, in their right mind, would allow their son to enter a Roman Catholic seminary at the moment?
If the young man was heterosexual and in any way good-looking, he would be an immediate target for actively gay seminarians or priests.
There is a danger they would get him drunk, or drug him, and then have their way with him.
If he resisted them, he would be harassed and intimidated into leaving.
This would end up with the young man damaged temporarily or forever.
It would most likely destroy his faith.
If the young man were gay and devout and in any way good-looking, he would be quickly introduced in a very active sex life and might very well go on to wreak havoc in every parish he went to.
He would, in his turn, go on to target other young men and do untold damage.
He might very well end up very unhappy and addicted to alcohol, drugs, or both.
And so, the ever ending cycle would e perpetuated.
MY EXPERIENCE
Now, don’t forget it’s 52 years since I entered seminary and 46 years since leaving seminary.
In Clonliffe – 1970 to 1973 – there was some homosexuality happening, but it was, I think, by way of exception. It was mainly deacons and senior seminarians targeting first year seminarians.
In Waterford – 1973 to 1976 – it was more rare than in Clonliffe but I was targetted by a younger seminarian – a lad who had been the victim of his primary school teacher at the age of 12 and also the victim of at least one priest.
In my time, it was nothing as bad as it is today.
NOW
Now, the priesthood has become a gay profession.
Most seminarians (the few that are) are gay and many actively so and on sex apps like Grindr.
Any “chaste” seminarian entering a seminary will soon be stripped of that chastity and, within no time at all, will be an expert in the things of the gay underworld.
Is it not morally reprehensible for people like Eamon Martin to be plucking rural youngsters out of his parishes and sending them to Maynooth to be destroyed?
Quite literally, he is sending lambs to the slaughter!
And doing it in the name of God!
