DID THE QUEEN DELIBERATELY CHOOSE ANDREW TO WALK HER INTO WESTMINSTER ABBEY?

I have never been a royalist, but I’ve always felt a certain admiration for Elizabeth II for her devotion to duty over many decades.

But, the spectacle of her recent entrance to Westminster on the arm of her sex pest son Andrew made me feel a real disgust for Lizzy.

Basically, the old Queen was giving us all the two fingers and saying: This is my beloved son in which I am well pleased”.

And I find that disgusting.

Liz and Andrew should be much more humble about the matter and simply be glad that Randy Andy is not behind bars in the USA.

Liz and Andrew’s display at Westminster was a massive, global insult to victims everywhere.

They say Liz paid the £ 12 million bill for Andy.

He is supposed to be her favourite son?

ESTABLISHMENT AND ABUSE

Abuse is like every other are – one rule for us abd a different rule for the establishment.

Andrew is basically a paedophile or an ephebophile.

He should have been ii prison.

The young lady would not have e got her 12 million if she lived in the UK.

She got some justice because she lived in the USA.

In any event, Andy is disgraced in the public eye.

And when Charles and William become king the House of Windsor will be a very cold hose for Randy Andy.

And Lizzy will not be around to protect him.

I pass no comment on Andrew’s guilt, but if he is guilty of what yiu accuse then I asked this question; is he not still entitled to attend religious services with his mother? And for his father?

And if you pass comment on her public office as Queen and the standard in office the may I remind you that insofar as her office is concerned we are her subjects and bound to loyalty.

Treason? Are you out of your tree, son? Critiquing the actions of a constitutional monarch is treason. All your comments in relation to the church suddenly take on a chill factor.

Holy Goat, I’m honestly amazed at your comment and attitude to the monarchy! I love it when someone has an opinion which completely blows up what you expected them to say!
I’m afraid there won’t be much loyalty going on in the future with the way things are going: either actual totalitarianism or major unrest are the natural end of the trajectory.

HG: I could acknowledge Andrew Windsor ‘s right to attend his father’s commendation, and even to sit with the other “royals”, although certainly not in a prominent position, as if still retaining his “elevated status”, such as it was.
While I do have a measure of respect for Elizabeth Windsor’s sense of duty, I think she made a huge error in having Andrew escort her. That role ought to have gone to Charles, or even William. If her judgement is now so misplaced, maybe it’s time she stood aside.

Is it then the status quo that HM Queen Elizabeth should have banished her son in the way Daly banished +Pat for lesser crimes? Should she banish him to a paid-for house, take his name off the royal directory, and consider him a person not in good standing in all personal matters as well as professional matters? OR can he sit with his family at his father’s memorial mass?
Place +Pat into Andrew’s position and we know we have had this discussion on the blog previously.

10:26pm He has no shame whatsoever, he proved that by showing his cheeky mug in public to attempt to get full value for the millions he had to shell out to the girl who had the evidence on what he did to her. Queenie in one outing has destroyed her decades of building a credible reputation for herself. She has let down mothers of victims and survivors – when it comes down to it, she is proof that she is just another self entitled moneybags. There are many other more sensitive ways for her to support her son – this was a cynical political move that has backfired on the lot of them.

I remember being at a funeral where the son of the deceased arrived in a yellow prison minibus handcuffed to a prison officer. So I’ve seen worse.

I was shocked at first to see Prince Andrew in such a prominent role, but when seen from the perspective of a mother and son commemorating the life of a husband and father, whatever one may think of the optics, it was a deeply personal moment, as anyone who has lost a loved one knows. I was reminded of the parable of the prodigal son.

Like

It was a public display of support for her favourite paedophile son. As Head of State, she should have allowed one of the other siblings to escort her. Both Charles and William had issues with her decision, but she decided to ignore good counsel. It gives an atrocious signal to the victims of sexual abuse and quite frankly it was entirely inappropriate and disgusting that she facilitated this abusing dullard of a son.

I have no personal animus towards the Queen of England, even though I believe that Royal families should be confined to Disney . Prince Andrew, on the other hand is a vile creature. Whilst fully entitled to attend his fathers memorial, giving him such a high profile role at the event shows a remarkable lack of judgement by his mother Queen Elizabeth and sends out a very negative message to all victims of sex trafficking

“Abuse and cover-up have marred the Catholic Church, and traditional communities aren’t exempt. In tonight’s In-Depth Report, senior producer Christine Niles exposes “trad” abuse on the Dark Continent. Bishop Bernard Fellay has never owned up to facilitating sex abuse.
Longtime former head of the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) — a breakaway traditional priestly group — Fellay routinely transferred predator priests to new assignments, where they often went on to abuse again. The Queen is evidently going to support her son. It’s natural as a mother. And remember, he has not been found guilty of anything so far. Although, things do seem to suggest that he has been somewhat foolish to say the least. Even though I recognise the family dynamics, there are also public dynamics that need to be considered, and I think that his appearance in such a prominent way at Westminster Abbey the other day was not the for the best. I’m sure The Queen will take note of the, mostly, negative reaction to this, and I would think that through the next year of her jubilee she will be more thoughtful and careful about any public role or appearance he makes. The Queen is not the only one to let the heart overtake the head. For example, many a bishop has favoured a favourite priest who has had a spot of bother. I wonder what + Amy has in store for Roreeeee. I doubt if he will cut all ties there, and will make sure that he is well looked after, and if there is a way back for him that it will be provided. This blog over the years has shown many such cases.

One possible angle was that while priests and monks were killed in Ireland (many houses survived the original Henrican dissolution as Hal wasn’t king of too much of Ireland), along with many others killed and taken as slaves very few, perhaps only one was executed in England as priests under the Commonwealth or Interregum. That was less than under Charles I who had a Catholic wife who had a chapel in London, where the Titus Oates plot resulted in executions including Bl Oliver Plunket, Abp of Armagh. The bigger target for the parliamentarians and later Cromwellians were ritualist Anglicans, of which Abp William Laud was a notable example and victim.
