At this stage, it is crystal clear that Ger Fitzgerald is a serial abuser of vulnerable women.
Monahan is offering Ger’s victims six counselling sessions.
But he has been paying for therapy for Ger Fitzgerald for over a year now.
And it has emerged that while Ger was in therapy for his car crash with Yvonne Drake, Ger never told his therapist that he was involved with a new woman – Carole!
This makes it perfectly clear that Ger is milking all of this for his own narcissistic personality.
And FINTAN MONAHAN is dancing to Ger’s tune.
Fintan and his so-called safeguarding officer are running around after Ger making sure he is OK.
It’s now got to the point that Ger’s departure from the priesthood is VITAL.
BUT NOW FINTAN MONAHAN MUST RESIGN AS BISHOP OF KILLALOE.
He has shown himself to be incapable of performing the office of bishop.
Monahan is now damaged beyond repair and is guilty of GROSS NEGLIGENCE and DERELICTION OF DUTY.

What a day for such an important meeting – April Fools Day 😞
At the end of the meeting, Carole told Fintan and Cleo that I would be publishing a blog about the affair later that evening. Fintan said: “Now that raises the issue to a whole new level”.
After the meeting was over, I had a call from Ger’s cousin attempting to stop the Blog by assassinating Carole’s character with the following statements:
1. She is a nut case and has already been sectioned by her husband once – UNTRUE.
2. Tusla and social services are involved and are going to take her children from her – UNTRUE.
3. She has tried to seduce multiple men in the Sixmilebridge area – UNTRUE
4. If I published the blog, Carole would get me into serious legal difficulties- UNTRUE.
A number of less serious allegations were made about her.
The cousin said he had not had a discussion with Ger before calling me ???
But that he had spoken to a Killaloe priest who knew everything about what was going on ???
This was a concerted effort to silence Carole.
The effect of the call?
I was more determined than ever to publish the blog.

ger got my mobile number from the homeless in town peter and polish Tommy he initiated conversations with me but it wasn’t until facebook he asked me out a few times over the course of 4-5 weeks.
First time -he wanted to meet up for a slice of pizza I said no that I was busy with a friend(I wasn’t I was home alone )
Second time, the following weekend he asked if I wanted to go down to help the homeless, I turned him down.
Third time, following week he asked if I wanted to go to the horror show in limerick for Halloween , I agreed but cancelled on him just before the Friday and offered to reschedule to Saturday.
The following week , he text asking if I wanted to go get a bag of chips in limerick, I agreed. The rest is history. He knows exactly what he’s doing.
Thankfully I Have all those messages including the first message he sent me on my old phone announcing himself. Otherwise I would be slated for being a liar
He said he was working every Saturday night for 6 months , we both know that’s not true. found out about others and started to cop he’s shit slowly but surely and yes he uses vertigo and the sick excuses when it suits him especially when he gets caught out on things or to avoid having to explain himself.
No amount of lies and tactics from him or he’s nearest and dearest will ever change the truth.

Ok, he’s not a rapist nor has he physically hurt any of these women, but he is going after them, using them then dropping them. He gets what he wants then disappears giving them no closure—-this is quite abusive behaviour. And abuse is abuse—-no excuses.
There is clearly “sexual” motive, here; albeit, to a far lesser concern and degree than is usually the case with those who abuse.
He is totally out of order and should not be in ministry. He shouldn’t even be working anywhere near vulnerable women.
He also needs to grow the frigg up and learn to either keep it in his trousers or settle down with one of them.

Yvonne: drive up Glen Nevis from Fort William to Youth Hostel. Park there, and cross river bridge in front of hostel. Take obvious path straight up to then turn right onto main zig zag route to summit. It’s rocky underfoot with very little soil/grass throughout. Be careful if misty near the top where path goes past steep drops on your left.
That’s best and safest route.

In situations like this – where there are accusations and counter-accusations, scandals and various points of view – it can be hard put quantifiable values on things to show clearly what has happened. Thankfully Pat has helped do that for us. Assuming it costs 100 euros per therapy session, we can calculate the following
Ger – Perpetrator – one year of sessions, one per week – cost = 5,200 euros
Carole/Yvonne – Victims – six sessions in total -cost = 600 euros
Just to put that in context, it literally means the Church puts almost nine times as much value on the perpetrator than the victim.
It is difficult to overstate just how awful this is. It is utterly shameful. What a dirty, filthy Mafia they are.
Both these women were vulnerable. Both these women have been callously mistreated. If Fintan Monahan had even a shred of decency these women would have been regarded properly and Fitzgerald instantly shown the door. The Safeguarding Officer is allegedly helping to ”mind” Ger -could you actually make this stuff up?

However Carole, Yvonne, Ger and Jerry all need to move on with their life as life is too valuable.

Bishop Buckley, I am an Irish clerical student for a religious order currently based in Rome and in my third year of studies. I am very happy here with my studies, the language, friends I’ve made and experiences I’ve had. In the last few weeks I’ve been thrown a curveball though.
My provincial arrived from Ireland a for a visitation as he does every year on the second last night of his stay he told me that he wants me to return to Ireland to finish my studies there. His reasoning was that I could then get to know the province and the men there a bit better, but also because the province is desperately short of personnel and so the plan would be to put me into one of our parishes so I can “give a hand” when I’m not studying.
I’m not happy about this for a few reasons. I know I can’t stay here in Rome forever but the thought of leaving prematurely to go to Maynooth just fills me with dread. I have a great group of friends here and they have been a great help to me in many ways, and I know that if I go back to Ireland I’m going to end up in a presbytery with four or five others who are all 50+ years older than me. Apart from being Irish, what do we have in common? Nothing. My peer group here is diverse; we’re from 5 continents and speak 10 different languages.
I want to say no but I feel like a decision has already been made for me. I don’t want to leave the order and in a way I feel like I can’t; I have nothing else to fall back on, no qualifications etc. What would you do Bishop Pat? Have you any advice or words of encouragement that might help me, or persuade my provincial to see sense?

If you do not support a Unionist perspective, consider the last elections votes in your constituency. Drawing from that, and other things being equal this time around, where nationalist candidates seem to be “safe” this coming election, and non Unionist “other” candidates, especially Alliance, appear to have a reasonable chance of success, it might seem sensible to vote tactically for Alliance, then your Nationalist preference, rather than just simply for your Nationalist preference full stop.

Even more sad that the parishioners of ennis and Clare and he’s nearest and dearest were misinformed as to why he was removed. Due to the lies he was telling about the ladies involved and he’s friends and privacy of the information that Yvonne had previously disclosed to them that the public were not privey too. Ennis simply thought he was a man having a lapse of vow and that men are human which could be forgiven given the good work he has done over the years.
He was removed because Yvonne and Carol were able to prove that he had a few women on the go which is a disgrace for any man. When the parishioners tried to protect and defend him they had no idea the full scale of he’s behaviour and wrong doings and treatment of women. Which is why they couldn’t save him despite their best efforts.

No doubt you won’t publish this as ive commented a few times and you seem to publish what you seem fit….. you can’t blame any man for falling for yvonne shes young shes beautiful and shes around the same age as ger. As for this Carole shes way older than ger and I think he thought of her as a mother figure as his own mother passed when he was very young. She took him in when things were hard, she fed him and she clothed him without being asked… there as no sexual contact what so ever between the two of them, was there even inappropriate text messages to say that ger wanted her like he did with yvonne? I think there’s more to this…. I think that carole lost the plot when she made a move on ger and got rejected…. in life we meet people who come into it and go just as quick…. maybe she should have taken the rejection when ut happened instead of taking pictures of him out with another lady whom he has been friends with years…. that shows jealousy on her behalf…. I don’t think ger is suited for the priesthood he’s missed out a lot in life and he liked that people needed him and that he could do some good..

Are you Ger’s spokeswoman? I wasn’t jealous. I know that he said the woman is his childhood friend. There was another more attractive woman that I saw him with there on a different occasion. Curly hair, wearing a hat. Who was she? Another childhood friend? 🤣 I took the photo to prove he is a liar and a narcissist. Apparently there are other “Ger’s angels” in Ennis that have come forward about him but it’s all locked away in his church file. He is a predator and as such he needs to be defrocked ASAP. He has acted disgracefully towards women and abused his position in order to do that. You can tell Ger that I ripped up Sir Hugh’s letters and flushed them down the loo 🤣🤣🤣

Carole 3.24 Why be so joyful? Do you yourself get pleasure out of causing hurt? I find the tone in your writings cocky and patronising to women who have and are suffered/suffering abuse and you’re unchristian in your manner. It’s a given that Ger treats women abhorrently but you certainly are no shrinking violet.

@3:41 I don’t give a damn about your opinion of me. I have been in a women’s shelter in the past because of abuse and now I have been abused by Ger. This time is different because the abuser is a priest. There is no shelter for me to go to. It gave me great satisfaction to get rid of something that reminded me of the abuser I say and do what is best for me. If you don’t like that’s your problem.

Carole, you’re clearly still in love with Ger, otherwise you wouldn’t be so angry, and do such vengeful things.
It is easy and trite to tell people in such circumstances as yours to ‘get over’ another person, or to ‘move on’. The question is ‘how? ‘
Feelings for another cannot exactly be given the boot, nor can the hurt and betrayal by this person be healed with an ointment.
Expressing yourself as you do on this blog may mitigate some of your anger, and fulfill some of your revenge, but it will not erase those deeper feelings.
I believe that Pat, though perhaps well-intentioned, is doing you a grave disservice: he is embedding you in a circumstance that is obviously causing you great emotional turmoil.
I cannot tell you how to ‘get over’ those deeper feelings of yours, but I can tell you that your way of coping with the hurt, magnified many times by these deeper feelings, is proving counter-productive for you.
If you had not these deeper feelings, you would not care as much about what you allege Ger did to you. In fact, you could bid him good riddance and forget about him.
By the way, I am not a priest. I have never met either you or Ger. It is the pain you, almost daily now, express on this blog that has prompted me, from compassion, to post this advice.
Ger seems a total, useless, infantilised, emotionally dependent man. He’s not worth the energy you have released on this blog.
Stay away from him physically and emotionally, as much as you can, and for your well-being. And stay away from the blog.

I think Fiona’s narrative is correct and is borne out by the photos provided by Carole, there are no pictures of them as a couple and no inappropriate text messages. I have no doubt that Ger is a cad and a bounder and that Fintan is uninterested or out of his depth or both, but I think Carole misread the situation. I feel enormously sorry for her, she seems to be a kind generous person.

Fiona 2:02 has written very well.
I was helping a woman who had been treated badly in her marriage. The messages became more frequent. I insisted that we should not message so frequently. She was reluctant but agreed.
It’s a tricky one when we are helping people. The other person might see it differently or grow to love us because of our support. Clear and respectful communication is important.
