Dear Fintan,
I have it on good authority that Fr Ger Fitzgerald has been:
1. Taking the prescribed drug Xanax from two lady parishioners in the diocese for his own use?
(Alprazolam, sold under the brand name Xanax, among others, is a fast-acting tranquilizer of medium duration in the triazolobenzodiazepine (TBZD) class, which are benzodiazepines (BZDs) fused with a triazole ring.)
These drugs have not been given to him by a doctor or pharmacist but were prescribed for the lady parishioners he took them from.
This is highly unprofessional, if not illegal.
2. Furthermore, he has sourced Marujana from a drug addict he knows and supplied it to another lady in the diocese.
Again, it is highly unprofessional and probably illegal.
It is my intention to address this matter on my Blog on Friday coming.
Can I have a comment from you, please?
How long more are you hoing to tolerate and shelter this priest and his his outlandish, abusive and criminal behaviour?

The more we learn about Ger Fitzgerald, the more concerned and worried we become.
It has been firmly established that Ger has serious difficulties in relating to women.
He invites several women at one time to become involved in his everyday life.
From these women, he seems to expect friendship, emotional involvement, gifts, money, admiration, and adulation.
He wants to both close and aloof at the same time. He shows no understanding of women and how they work and feel.
Like an emotionally dysfunctional spider 🕷 he intices his “lady flies” into his web, sucks them dry, and then disposes them as he wishes.
He shows no understanding of how women respond to his attention by becoming emotionally invested in him and develop very natural and normal expectations.
When he becomes aware of these expectations, he is somehow “repulsed” and immediately, cruelly and savagely, jettisons them – even though he was the one who raised the expectations.
Can this be explained by the early loss of his mother and his forever search for a new mammy? But that’s between him and his therapist.
A mature man and a properly functioning priest can not be allowed to use the priesthood to fill his psychological voids and leave a trail of broken human beings.
THE DRUGS
“Ger once told me I could get € 30 a sleeve on the street for my Xanax” (Carole).
It is highly unprofessional for a priest to be using anxiety drugs prescribed for lady parishioners.
This is totally unprofessional and a massive breach of boundaries.
Ger should have seen his own GP and received his own prescription.
It is totally unprofessional for a priest to be sourcing marajuna for a parishioner / friend even though the friend has a licence abroad for medical marajuna for serious illness and pain.
I am 37 years in Larne. I would not know where to find Marajuna in this town.
How does Ger know where to get illegal drugs?
AN ADDICT’S SUICIDE
One young male drug addict was allowed by Ger to sleep in his car.
That young male then took his own life.
No one knows what happened.
Yvonne told Fintan about it.
WHY FINTAN’S INACTION ON ALL THESE IRREGULARITIES?
Why is Fintan not acting in all these irregularities around Ger?
Ger says Fintan is a coward? Is this the reason?
Others are saying that Ger has dirt on other priests and even on Fintan?
In any event, turning a blind eye to Ger’s abuses and misbehaviours means that Fintan is a co-abuser and accessory after the fact.
