I think it would be safe to say that no Irish RC bishop likes this blog or its author.
One or two might find it mildly irritating. Others mildly irritating.
But there are those Irish RC bishops who find this blog carotid bursting.
From what I can see, the most serious and serial cover-uppers of clerical wrongdoing are:
Eamon Martin.
Fintan Monahan.
Noel Treanor.
Willie Crean.
RC BISHOPS AND HOW THEY WORK
To become an RC bishop, you have had to sell your soul to the company – RCC INTERNATIONAL – whose head office is at the Vatican.
The RCC thing is gone so far now that they regard God as the pope’s representative in Heaven.
To be an RCC bishop, you have to cover your eyes and your ears and your mouth.
You are not allowed to see anything wrong in the RCC Junta; hear anything wrong about the Junta and speak no wrong of the Junta.
To achieve this, you must be totally dedicated to lies, deceit, denial, injustice, abuse, corruption, pretence, and hypocrisy.
It also helps if you have your own double life going on ‘ with men, women, children, alcohol, drugs, abuse of power, and money.
You also have to learn not to believe in anything, never to pray sincerely, and sit back and cynically laugh at those you are fooling – especially the stupid and thick laity in the pews who are paying for everything.
It also helps to be involved with corrupt policemen, lawyers, and politicians.
You are also required to be so arrogant as to believe that you are actually a good human being and not the swindler everyone else knows you are.
Most of them don’t really believe in Heaven and the afterlife, and that’s why they create their own “heavens” here on earth.

AND THIS BLOG?
If the Irish RCC bishops had their way, this blog would not exist.
They, or some of their cohorts, closed down my previous Google blog.
They all read this blog or have someone to read it for them.
It’s the only place in Ireland and indeed the Irish Isles that people are told about the RCC’s scandals and secrets – where bishops and priests are named and their activities and non actions are reported and exposed.
And don’t forget that nearly all the establishment journalists and media are in cohorts with the RCC crowd.
One establishment winks at another establishment.
One journalist who used to speak to me was threatened with the sack if they continued to speak to me – and the threat, admitted their boss, came straight from the bishop’s conference.
BISHOP STORY
Bishop Lucey of Cork went out walking one day and came across a little boy playing with mud in a rain puddle.
“What are you making demanded the bishop”?
“Little men,” replied the boy.
“Why are you not making bushops? Demanded Lucey.
The little boy replief:
“Cause the muds not thick enough”.
I rest my case 😀

The week long course is an introduction to the company.
So they visit all the departments and dicastery’s and the tribunal so they know each department.
They also go back for a week every four years and meet the Chief Executive Pope Francis.
Some Bishops who are pastoral rather than business directors find it boring.

From the Independent and Sarah MacDonald
“Fr Paddy Byrne, parish priest of Abbeyleix, Ballinakill, Raheen in Co Laois, lamented the “sad” fact that he can bless tractors and cars but not a loving same-sex couple. … He was congratulated by Labour TD, Aodhán Ó Ríordáin, for his comments.“
Fair play to Fr Paddy. Will he get a belt of crozier?
LikeLike
@ 12:34am
He should get a severe belt of the crozier but he wont. The useless Bishops in the Hierarchy today are so woke liberal and terrified to say anything that goes against the ‘anything goes’ standards of today. Which are not standards at all. Fr Byrne forget all this Paddy,Ger shite is just yet another example of priests who have forgotten what true charity is. He just spouts out what he thinks ‘the rent a mob shower’ wants to hear so he can remain popular. Forgetting of course he will be held to account.

Priests like him think themselves rebels, when what they do is something that pleases our rulers no end, rulers who want to house 300,000 Ukrainian and half of Africa while Irish die on the street (Labour are a joke party now, but the opinion is representative, and I don’t think Putin is any other than a tyrant and a bully but 300k?) and which is endorsed by the ACP and quietly so by bishops. One only good thing is that social policy wedge means our political class cannot go on forever distracting us by squeezing outrage out of Catholic related issues.

What is against the teaching of the church?
The church once taught geocentrism.
The church one taught slavery was morally good.
If an issue is against the current teaching of the church, perhaps the church’s teaching on that issue needs to be changed.

Fr de Malleray was ordained in the early 2000s, probably when homosexuality at their seminary was not as rife. He was also very quick to remove a newly ordained priest from Reading some years ago who I’m aware acted up (not quite sure in what way) with a policeman. Surely if a member of the gay cabal himself, he would not have been so quick to purge? I am well informed that many of the seminarians now studying at Wigratzbad are gay, and personally know two straight ex-sems who left because of this.

Noel Treanor simply doesn’t give a toss about D&C. Neither does the MBE warbler. They are in it for Prestige and position. All around them D&C priests are up to all sorts of shenanigans . Why has their activities neither been challenged nor questioned by Lisbreen. Simply because they look after their own. This outfit is not of Christ. It is full of self seeking morons masquerading as men of God. It’s all about keeping the coffers replenished. It is a complete disgrace that this “charitable” organisation is allowed to function especially under the control of Treanor and O’Hagan . 8.07 Lawrence Wright on the predicament of Happy, an elephant kept at the Bronx Zoo, offers an excellent account of the Nonhuman Rights Project’s long battle to expand the legal definition of personhood ( The Elephant in the Courtroom,” The New Yorker March 7th). I am quoting from Robert Anderson’s letter in The New Yorker April 4 2022. The said letter intimates the point you make Pat and the consequent imperative to extent to animals their Rights; the legal definition of personhood is up for reappraisal to stop humans being so horrendous to their sentient “ brothers and sisters”…….. it’s a long way off if you look at war in the world and the teachings of many Creeds as to what is ordered or disordered!!! Interesting canvass in the Irish Times asking the question as to whether one is attending a religious service for Easter. As you say Pat, I have met more empathetic animals that many Roman Catholic Bishops. The animals instinctively watch their backs but not to the detriment of those around them.
