“EVIL PHONSIE” – BULLY PHONSIE – COVER UP PHONSIE.

PHONSIE CULLINANE is indeed a bully and a cover up merchant.

THE CASE OF FR RICHARD GEOGHEGAN

Phonsie showed both contempt and mockery for Richard from the time he became bishop.

A more senior Waterford priest told me recently that Phonsie deliberately mocked Richard by continuing to refer to him as RICHIE after Richard told him he like to be called Richard.

A small thing in itself. But hurtful and provocative.

Phonsie was mocking Fr Richard and his sensitivity.

Phonsie also mocked and made little of a particular health problem had.

He dismissed Richard from the priesthood on the flimsiest of reasons.

Richard felt broken and destroyed after his various encounters with Phonsie.

He even tried to harm himself !

Phonsie drove him to the very edge

THE STOLEN € 70,000

On the other hand, Phonsie did a sectet deal with a priest had stolen € 70,000 of diocesan money

Phonsie never reported this crime to the Garda.

And is allowing the priest to pay back the stolen money at € 5,000 a year for 14 years out of his diocesan salary.

That priest is still residing in diocesan property and is allowed to minister freely in the diocese as if he did nothing wrong.

THE RICHARD PURCELL AFFAIR

And then there is Richard Purcell who is a caused of serious sexual violation of his monastic vows.

Phonsie allowed him to continue to have faculties for the diocese.

And made sure that Purcell was prominent at every diocesan event.

And Phonsie continued to publicly concelebrate Mass with him.

So, Protect a thieving priest.

Protect a lecherous monk.

But destroy a good, kindly priest, beloved of his parishioners, who was totally open about his life.

There is something deeply dark, something deeply sinister about PHONSIE CULLINANE.

No wonder he has to take cold shower every day.

I’d say he has skeletons as big as dinosaurs in his dark damp closet.

Bishop Pat,
If Phonsie was placed in Armagh Archdiocese for a week, he would have every priest under 40 laicised. The antics some get up to are equivalent to Satanic sexual fantasies in nature.

There was a huge controversy behind the scenes on the distribution of communion during JP11 visit to Ireland. Nothing needs to be said, no harm was done by Wojtyla. Anyone who uses/used the Eucharist ( despite the official teaching….ignored by Wojtya on the Irish Visit and the Irish Personage) as a weapon is not only unpriestly ( at its deepest meaning) but is not Christian! My spelling is always deliberate….wheater pope or the Not-Fonz in Waterford. You cannot right the harm you did Cullinane !! They went their seperate ways. The Dublin priest decided he better head for the wedding reception as they will sit down soon. Decked out in his clerical sartorial elegance he was seated at the top table as is custom. He was enthralled when he heard the waiter behind him in the most loving affectionate familiar tone greet him : ” hello Father” ……yes they had both made it back from the beach in time for their respective duties!!!! Where is everyone in your life?
Where are you friends and family?
Have you got a job?
Are you sustaining yourself?
Have you bought or rented a house?

Are you being weened off the Bishops nipple?
I highly doubt it.
All you have now is this blog and a very grandiose opinion of yourself and your abilities.

Did all this corruption start in the middle ages with the devious popes and power and wealth became the prime aim at the expense of our souls. Is it true that when a pope speaks from his throne that he is never wrong in his speech and that this became canon law in 1870. Was this the case when Saint Peter spoke from his plain chair as the church had no worldly wealth at that time only the wealth of God’s love.
What has happened ?
I find it hard to believe that our bishops have summer houses when there is a homeless situation here.

Like

Whether one agrees with Phonsie’s actions or not, the situation calls into question the way Catholic bishops are appointed today. Church of Ireland bishops are elected by clergy and laity with an equal number from within the diocese and within the ecclesiastical province. It would mean elected candidates would be looking to the good of those who elected them instead of looking over their shoulders to the Vatican curia who appointed them. It would mean the influence of Charlie Brown et al. would be diminished. The whe system needs to be thoroughly overhauled and to include transparency.

It’s not necessary to be a biblical scholar to see that you are not one. The passage in question has nothing to do with church leaders and even less to do with the matter of election over appointment. You would get F in First Divinity NT.

6.39pm You’re surely not setting up a Maynooth BD as a benchmark of scholarship? 🤣

The verse is exactly about the risk, in electing church leaders, whereby the flock, rather than seeking sound doctrine, would instead seek unscrupulous, populist leaders and teachers who would tell the people what their itchy ears want to hear.

Like

You clearly can only aspire to the Maynooth BD level. You’d be marked down on eisegesis, for starters. You’d be marked down for taking a verse out of its literary context and for making no attempt to identify that context. You’d be marked down for employing terminology anachronistically (‘populist’ is a nineteenth century creation). You’d be marked down for attempting to marshall a text to make it say something it does not. In this case, the point under discussion is the election (eligere) of church leaders, rather than their appointment. About this precise topic it is silent. Offhand, I can think of seven other grounds for giving you a low grade. But then again, you left before commencing theology.

+Pat, it is clear from this blog that you are in contact with Richard Geoghegan. And that is fair enough. Bishop Cullinan is a nasty piece of work. He is one of the biggest hypocrites within the Irish Hierarchy. And if the story is true about the priest in Waterford who helping himself to €70,000 that raises questions about his oversight and the financial governance within the diocese.
However, it is also the case that Richard Geoghegan voluntarily signed the paperwork seeking his dispensation. Nobody put a gun to his head to sign the paperwork. He was not forcibly laicised by decree following a canonical process.
It appears he felt he had no option because it the relationship between Cullinan and Geoghegan had irretrievably broken. A more sensible option would have been taking a leave of absence. He should have obtained the services of a canon lawyer who could have facilitated an experimental incardinated in another diocese. He could have taken a leave of absence. He could have volunteered as a missionary priest.
Cullinan’s “protection” of Richard Purcell when he was consumed by scandal was very odd. This is well documented by this blog.

He was clearly badly advised by the ACP rep who accompanied him. Don’t the Anglican clergy have a proper trade union that they can join. Time for our clergy to have the same.

Like

Indeed, ACP reps are themselves vulnerable to being mistreated by bishops, whereas proper union reps are protected by law and can institute actions in the employment tribunal if they suffer unfair detriment because of lawful union activities. That protection, plus their independence from the church chain of command, would make them much stronger representatives than fellow ACP priests.

1:23pm Very Well Said. The alleged supports provided by RCC are neither independent nor impartial. Anyone that is ultimately on RCC payroll is invested in protecting the RCC Mafia above all else. Clergy & lay victims of RCC related wrong doing should be permitted & financed by RCC to choose independent & external appropriately qualified professionals when they require assistance in such life changing matters as in case of Fr Geoghegan. All this insistence on continually controlling everything in their own interests by RCC stinks.

€70K theft only tip of iceberg in grand scheme of RCC obsession with wealth building via any meanssays:

Many clergy are lining their pockets so can well afford second homes abroad where they can pursue alternative lifestyles several times a year away from prying sheep that they clearly hold in contempt when one considers the 2 faced lifestyle many clergy live. Generous benefactors in high places are useful in preparation for retirement so clergy use their time & connections to aid & abet their lay rich mafia by various methods. Clergy & Cathbots collude via whatever means necessary to protect the interests of their wealthier benefactors. Stealing €70K one will find is only the tip of the iceberg on the grand scale of things. Phonsie decisions have the measure of double standards, one law for the favoured one which is quite obvious ex Abbot, priest who stole 70k, another law for the dissident ones, don’t like your face or your face doesn’t fit which was RG.

**
Its plainly quite clear for most readers like ourselves to call it out as they saw it as double standards operated by Phonsie, a member of Opus dei.

**
From my experience with opus dei(St Stephen Green) in the past, they were far too strict, too cultish for my liking.

Phonsie protection of RP in my view that he’s v interested in RP knowledge of information especially sexual encounters. He has lot of info on seminarians, priests, possibly a prelate. Phonsie quite clearly knows what RP was up to as he backed him up to a hilt. No doubt about that as I saw it. Phonsie is v interested in valuable information or nuggets of intelligence coming from RP re networks which he might use to his own benefit. He’s very ambitious and social climber all in one.

Also valuable information re phonsie is essential as a tool to reduce his good standing as a Bishop or be used against him to demoralise or demean his reputation.

Once his reputation is gone, it takes years to rebuild his reputation cos there is no going back as regards to reputational damage.

Also I have to consider the possibility that phonsie was compromised as RP might have gained some info about Phonsie.

No wonder so few go to mass or confession. It’s abuse of office, in the real world, a sackable offence but church show us repeatedly that their clericals are “special” & as we can see in this current Bishop Phonsie €70k money missing matter they clearly demonstrate to us public that they are outside the norms of responsibility expected of mainstream society. Any other organisation would be disbanded by the State & its Ill gotten gains redistributed to their abuse victims & survivors left waiting years for same when they clearly have the financial means to close the book on the wrongs they have knowingly executed & covered up. They have no ambition themselves to sit at the right hand of the Lord, they are already very comfortably seated at the right hands that fuel their fancy cars, holiday homes & whatever else we cannot see.

The PP is all smiles on Insta, Facebook and Twitter with Michelle ONeill and other Shinners standing in the Stormont elections, who visited the school yesterday. Now anti-SF people (both Catholics and unionists) have complained to the CCMS, the diocese of Armagh and the Department of Education. A law passed in 1973 prohibits electioneering in schools in NI. Fr Moore is now claiming that despite being Chair of the Board of Governors he wasn’t consulted and just happened to be in the school when SF dropped in. Given their opposition to Catholic schools and pro-abortion stance many Catholics are furious, as are unionists at seeing Catholic schools being used as electioneering backdrops.

which apply to grant-aided schools state that:
“A school shall not be used for political meetings, the transaction of any political business or for any purpose connected directly or indirectly with Parliamentary,
Assembly or Local Government elections except as polling booths on the requisition of the officer responsible in accordance with the statutes governing such elections.”
A circular to all schools from the NI Department of Education (Circular 2022/33 of 7 March 22) states:
“This is the current legal position which prohibits the holding of political meetings in a grant-aided school, including meetings which could be regarded as aimed at canvassing for votes for any particular political party or any particular political party election candidate. The only exception permitted is the use of schools as
polling stations.”

If the bishop removed his facilities without any reason, and told him to leave the parish house, without any reason, then Richard can appeal that. Contrary to what was stated in this blog, Bishop Phonsie does not have any advanced canon law training.
While Richard makes me cringe, and I think its below the dignity of the priesthood to dress as sherly bassey, these are not crimes under canon law. The only reason or justification for lacisation would be if bishop phonsie and fr richard know somthing they have not divulged.
If what we have been told is true, Richard could have the didpensation from the clerical state rescinded.

@9.22pm Is that true about Elsie and Pat re: Irish sea border? That’s hilarious. It sounds like Vinnie though, he does still have that scouse humour even if in private.

@9.31 My God some priests have their Archbishops by the short and curlies. Nobody in particular. At all. At all. Ahemmmm.

Dear +Pat,
Phonsie should do the honourable thing and resign based on today’s blog. Such conduct is unbecoming of a priest.
Also, Phonsie might not have legal authority to report this matter to the Gardaí given the convoluted legal structure of parishes in the Republic. After all, what claim has a bishop if the parish is it’s own legal entity, managed by a self-employed priest? I suggest you make it known to the Chairperson of the parish Council, for the attention of the finance committee.

So ends another wonderful day of being subject to the Holy Roman Pontiff, which is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature.
