May 9 (Reuters) – Gay dating app Grindr said on Monday it would go public through a merger with a blank-check acquisition firm – a deal that values it at $2.1 billion and features Tiga Investments CEO Raymond Zage on both sides of the transaction.
Grindr said its existing shareholders would own 78% of the company after the merger, which comes two years after China’s Kunlun Tech Co (300418.SZ) divested it for $620 million due to U.S. national security concerns.
PAT SAYS
It would be interesting to know exactly how many Irish priests are on Grindr.
In my opinion it in the high hundreds, at least.
Most of these priests are not looking for love, intimacy or friendship.
They are looking for multi party anonymous sex, even though the Church they preaching for tells them that such things are “mortal sins”.
Many of them are abiding by Church teaching by not using condoms π
In time to come Grindr will be listed in the history books and being one of the causes of the collapse of the RC priesthood.

Why people like Amy Martin are ignoring their Grindr priests and protecting them is serious food for thought.

Pat there are several priests in Belfast that use Grindr, I chatted to one for a long time.
He sent me an expiring face picture and I recognised him but donβt know his name, someone is bound to know it.

There are many. Send me the picture.

It was expiring, so it means you can only look at it once and then it disappears, you can also not screen shot it.
It works in priests favour to be able to do that but then he blocked me when I asked him about it.

Whats telling was that sisters of charity refused to sell the land.
Can the state move somewhere else or buy the land outright?
β¬10 for 299 years or get fined 600k for something broken I think some clause inserted there. That’s isn’t right.
First thing is to strip their control and start creating money for the state in the long run. Control free and religion free.
The plausible reason I could think of why the land isn’t bought.
1. Consultants didn’t want to move cos close to their home. They are in cahoots with the nuns.
2. They need dosh in the long run. Clause inserted to protect themselves. What happens if sisters of charity dissolves itself, then it reverts back to the vatican control via Bishop. No win situation.
3. Politicans or FFG wants to stay with the church or protect them, think of another’ Michael Woods’.
Best thing is to buy outright or love away to buy some land somewhere else.
Gindrr was/is the prime example of rcc priests or prelates or bishops don’t practice what they preach.

For this brief and transient pleasure he was out away at her majestyβs pleasure and (I presume) was reduced to the state of a layman (poor thing).
Now hereβs the thing – mention Jolly being on Grindr to any priest from Birmingham and you get frozen out – tumbleweed and silence is the stern reply.
Which leads one to conclude that Grindr is very much alive in Birmingham and Oscott.

That’s not necessarily the only likely conclusion (although far from unlikely).
Another would be that there is a lack of honesty and openness in relating to the public when it concerns the archdiocese’s little mistakes. You still get the same when you mention Penney.
A third possibility would be a fear of saying the wrong thing and being hung out to dry. Fear drives a lot of what happens in the archdiocese.

I cannot reply as I said earlier but I have logged on for a very particular reason. When Eamonn Martin said to me ” I think I’ll get an assessment done on you” as well as telling me ” when the conversation was finished, do you know Bill, I liked him ” That was reference to Denis Mulroy . I class both as total Bolloxi in my regard around the circumstances involved. Bishop Gerard Clifford RIP( not a Bollox….rare among bishops….even that Church of Ireland one in Cork going around being photographed recently) said of Eamonn Martin ” he has a lot to learn.” My outlook on Eamonn Martin is well recorded on this Blog… it all stands. But. I have the impression/ understanding he is kind to the priests who find themselves in public difficulties ( I am not referring to any matter where there is criminal conviction….CONVICTION). On that score, perhaps Eamonn Martin is learning and has learned ….. There is a lot to be said for kindness….the only thing that matters in the end. I would say Eamonn was essentially kind before they administered the iron to his soul.

I have nothing against my colleagues who choose to practice the traditional Mass, what I do not like however is someone pontificating the way de Malleray does, whilst behaving inappropriately with a young married woman in the process.

8:25 Interesting information, though I don’t believe for a second that Fr de Malleray is gay, his homilies, articles and talks often describe the beauty (and alluring nature) of women. Without being too outing, I am someone who witnessed him with this young woman alluded to on here, on several occasions at his Juventutem gathering in London. I also work in psychology and have experience of analysing human behaviours…I couldn’t describe him as being anything less than besotted with the young redhead. The way I (and others observed) him interacting and looking at her, always glancing at her when on opposite sides of the room etc. and once done in full view of her fiance (who de Malleray did the betrothal for), it was very obvious

The diocese of Salfordβs website is somewhat ironic. As soon as you access the website a pop-up message from the safeguarding team states that due to current government guidance they are working remotely. The website then has the bishops statement encouraging everyone to return to Mass on Sundays. Perhaps the Bishop could start with getting his own workforce back Into the office?

Nice again to get a word in my daily Arabic vocab with a helpful etymological connection:
Arabic ΚΎab ‘father’ is related (via Aramaic, Ancient Greek and Latin) to the English words ‘abbot’, ‘abbess’ and ‘abbey’.

Portuguese bishopsβ leader seeks forgiveness from abuse victims
By Catholic News Service
May 12, 2022 Contributor
” LISBON, Portugal β The president of the Portuguese bishopsβ conference begged forgiveness from victims of sexual abuse by Catholic clergy, as a church-appointed independent commission predicted many more abuse cases would come to light.
βThese attacks are particularly serious; in addition to direct physical harm, they affect the fundamental system of affection, trust and values that sustains personal, relational and spiritual development,β said Bishop JosΓ© Ornelas Carvalho of Leiria-Fatima.”

Reading through the βOfferingsβ on here that are clearly from clergy & their demented sheep, not even a hearing aid would help. They beyond redemption. A dangerous Cult for sure. Frankie not doing much about cleaning up their act, he too busy counting his sheep loot

Off todayβs topic β did anyone watch tonightβs Eurovision song entrants for next Saturdayβs final. Its an absolute joke β our lovely wee Derry girl Brooke Scullion failed to get through for Ireland when she so deserved a place. Some of the songs are pure rubbish and got through I hope Ukraine win on Saturday night.
