53 BURIAL SITES OF NATIVE AMERICAN CHILDREN FOUND.

A US government investigation into the dark history of Native American boarding schools has found “marked or unmarked burial sites” at 53 of them, Interior Secretary Deb Haaland has said.

Ms Haaland, the first Native American cabinet member, announced the investigation last year.

In releasing preliminary findings during a press conference in Washington, she spoke through tears and in a choked-up voice.

“The federal policies that attempted to wipe out Native identity, language and culture continue to manifest in the pain tribal communities face today,” Ms Haaland said.

“We must shed light on the unspoken traumas of the past.”

Until Wednesday, the US government had yet to provide any true accounting of the legacy of the schools, which used education to change culture so tribal land could be taken.

Families were forced to send their children to the schools.

Foolishly, at the beginning, I thought the burial of children in unmarked graves was peculiar to Ireland and Irish nuns.

And then came along the story of the unmarked graves of Canadian indigenous babies.

And now the unmarked graves of Native American Indian babies.

So this is a worldwide phenomenon.

And while others than the RCC were involved, the RCC has played a role in this Mass Grave phenomenon in many countries around the world.

And what’s worse, they did it in the name of God!

They even put statues of their “VIRGIN MARY” overlooking it all !!!

All of this BABY MURDER – INFANTICIDE – gives the RCC and its spokesmen ABSOLUTELY NO CREDIBILITY ON THE MORALITY OF ABORTION.

How could it – when it’s bishops, priests and popes have MURDERED hundreds of thousands, if not millions of babies worldwide?

Jesus said:

Pat, Brian Nugent wrote a book about the graves in Tuam. Babies were not dumped in septic tank, the graves were marked at one stage until the site was redeveloped.
If you want a copy I can get it to you. The media made it look like babies were being dumped in septic tank, but the tank in question was constructed much later and bodies moved as the graveyard was redeveloped. All clearly and historically documented l.

Not about Catholicism it’s about historical facts. I remember when the Tuam babies story broke there was nearly worldwide coverage that babies bodies were dumped in septic tank. Simply not true, that tank in question didn’t exist, it was built later.

Unmarked Graves & “Disappeared” Records of Victims of Irish Roman Catholic Institutional Abusesays:

10:42pm – historical facts in no way justify what happened in Tuam or any other Roman Catholic run institutions anywhere in the world where proven atrocities were knowingly, deliberately and willingly carried out by ordained & professed clericals. The “FACT” historical & current is that the remains of all these little souls should have been treated with respect prior to building Tuam septic tank – each baby body clearly identified & a plaque with their name, date of birth & death & cause of death inscribed but these educated brides of Christ were disrespectful in this & all regards in the extreme & don’t forget government paid nuns plus nuns also took money from mothers and/or slave Labour for laundry business. A money racket from start to finish. Disrespectful and immoral what those awful evil Nuns did to them – yet another nail in the coffin for these money grabbing parasites. You are a biological father, those children were neglected and malnourished – records where available show majority of babies born normal healthy weight & yet dead in unprecedented numbers within a year. The fact remains and repeatedly proven in court rooms around the world is that The Roman Catholic Church is one big septic tank and Cathbot money mad fat turds attempts to justify child torture to keep the baskets filled just won’t wash Robert 💩. You saw for yourself yesterday a mass goer on here complaining about a special needs child making noise in church. Described the child as “animal”. Everyone not on RCC payroll in some form whether via jobs, business related interest etc. is fully aware that in describing the Roman Catholic abusers as “animals” – this is actually an insult to animals who are far superior to priests & nuns in how they take care of young & will also take care of non biological young. In conclusion, yet another shameful & entirely inexcusable Roman Catholic Shit Show.
💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩
🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
May God Bless the innocent souls of all those little babies & their misfortunate families who couldn’t afford to keep them & therefore fell foul of the evil nuns. Not forgetting many girls were impregnated by priests or their influential friends. These days they just use parish sheep funds to pay for abortions so that explains why they don’t want special needs children in church as clearly stated by poster on this blog yesterday. The parents of that child should be contacted in the interests of its safety & well being. A danger to society = Roman Catholic mass goers.

You also believed Marcial Maciel, founder of the ultra-conservative Catholic order Legionaries of Christ was innocent because the Vatican didn’t find him guilty of sexually abused 60 boys but turns out he was perhaps the Roman Catholic Church’s most notorious paedophile, even abusing children he had fathered secretly with at least two women while living a double life and being feted by the Vatican and Church conservatives.

Like

That’s factual. Catherine Corless herself spoke up after oligarch propagandists who call themselves journalists kept claiming the Bon Secours nuns threw the deceased infants into a sewer.
Not one dead child was found in Kamloops (https://www.dorchesterreview.ca/blogs/news/in-kamloops-not-one-body-has-been-found). The oligarch media and Justin Castro essentially used a false claim by anthropologist, Sarah Beaulieu to incite a wave of church burning on the basis of nothing. A grifting native politician was the one who publicised that rubbish. I strongly suspect this claim is of the same type. At most, it’s a matter of some documentation going astray. My great granddad had his grave marked with a white stone and the graveyard record book for his has vanished, a fine graveyard on the shore of Clew Bay.
Those alleged instruments of torture are long debunked Black Legend stuff, first cooked up by English heretics and afterwards given a second life by socialist anti-clerical elements in Spain. Actually many Spaniards sought to have their cases transferred to the Holy Inquisition such was its reputation for clear and fair procedure, where no hidalgo could pull rank on a craftsman and claim benefit of nobility.
It is also a fact that Arabs actually moved to the Kingdom of Jerusalem as the taxes and obligations were clearly understood and not a matter of arbitrary demands. The Reconquista was a matter of retaking Christian land from invaders who seized the wealthy and supplicated Visigothic kingdom. Tour guides talk of the Great Mosque of Cordoba, but that was in fact a Visgothic church of St Vincent on an earlier Roman site.
Yet it is true that over the past century seminaries became cesspits. Religious allowed themselves to provide discount labour to the institutions created to control the poor like workhouses and laundries. The 26 county Saorstát (which was and still is a joke compared to the aspirations of the men of 1916), with its own authoritarian outlook, was utterly happy at this. When Mgsr Flanagan of Boystown, visited Ireland in 1950, he was polite when here, but afterwards expressed some horror at how backward Irish orphanages and similar bodies were, even by the standards of the time. This results in some civil services memos, but his points were ignored, ultimately. Those places were mixed, but the blame most of all should be on the original colonial authorities and afterwards the Saorstat who punished the poorest for misery that was mostly the fault of the rulers of this land.
+Pat, the food is still fantastic, but I disagree with most of this post.

5:17 those nuns in Tuam should have had each little baby identified & a grave marker provided stating name, place & date of birth & date & cause of death clearly inscribed. 6.53pm. What, like the did in the workhouses or the Protestant mother and baby homes, such as Bethany and the Ulster Penitentiary?

Like

Derek Leinster long campaigned for recognition of the Bethany Home residents or inmates. The death rate there seemed to have been rather high even allowing for the inability to deal with TB effectively and pandemics like influenza. The Penitentiary or Edgar Home did at least close in the 1920s. Ireland seems to have a backward, fund starved provision for some of the poorest and despised, in some areas, but the Church of England had similar, often called Magdelene homes and these only closed in the 70s. I see an intend to blame the Catholic Church particularly even when a good portion of these homes had no religious. The political class dislikes how lay Catholics in the past managed to frustrate their social projects. They need to solely blame the Catholic Church.
Maciel was utterly depraved in life, unrepentant at death, and his followers are of interest. Steve Skojec ran OnePeterFive, a big trad blog. He was a former Legionary and decided upon traditional Catholicism after enduring the betrayal and cultishness of the Legion and having experienced the shoddiness of mainstream Catholicism. Yet he sold it to Crisis Magazine about a year ago, and the refusal of an FSSP priest to baptise his child as the priest had not seen the family in church enough, precipitated a sort of falling out with Catholicism in general. In a real way, the people seduced by the Legion of Christ cult were victims, even when not sexually abused or swindled.

Any story about the abuse of children from any century is morally wrong. We need to know exactly what happened, why it happened and how was it tolerated? What was the civil and religious thinking behind infant burials? Why were little innocent ones so cruelly treated? Can we ever reconcile with this legacy as a church and society? Even today children with special needs are treated appallingly and chikdren with psychiatric traits are placed in adult wards with peoole sicker than they are. And the trauma of thousands if babies being aborted is a great darkness in our way of treating the little ones…It’s not septic tanks today, it’s incinerators or buckets in sluice rooms. To inflict cruelty on a precious little child is an abomination, a crime deserving of severe punishment. Incidentally Pat, I’d have chosen your dishes tonight exceot the starter without rhe roe! Bishop Pat, the North American system that was designed to “westernise the savage” (one of several similar terms used in the timeframe) is a whole subject within itself. Entry was compulsory, photographs were taken of children on arrival, then photos at various stages for purposes of demonstration to government how their money was being spent as funding provided – so individuals were being “made fit for civilised society. Inmates were given plenty work & chores and their education was structured to training both sexes for menial domestic and industrial and agricultural jobs. Primary objective was to destroy their native culture & train them to types of menial work demanded by colonising masters. These institutions reported regularly to visiting government inspectors that sanctioned funding – these misfortunes were a commodity, just like the Irish mother & baby home scandals. May they all somehow Rest in Peace.

Robert, thank you for your comments. It is vital for the TRUTH to be told re: Tuam. There are so many narratives that we need clarity. Some, including Pat and his followers in this blig, alongside vehemently anti Catholic commentators and politicians have used this tragedy in a very partisan, nasty way to beat the Church. Any abuse in any era is morally wrong. But truth should not be sacrificed to further anti Catholic rhetoric.

10:23pm it is not anti Catholic rhetoric – it is simply stating facts of worldwide abuse, corruption & wrong doing that RC has been proven to persistently cover up & make indefensible excuses for. The little girl finds it very hard on account of her diagnosed “difference” but she enjoyed it & had made good friends there. Some very smart kids in group, kids of accountants & the like. We will not forget this. Our entire family and network of friends are now aware. Lest we Forget. You’d miss the days when priests actually ran the parish themselves – like when I was a nipper. All we can do now is walk away – that was a very hurtful and damaging experience for a child. But sure, who are we to complain, she got off light compared to other children entrusted to church.

2.28pm: William, the said journal and its editors, particularly Niall Stokes, never had anything positive to say about the Church. Ever. It engages in the nastiest of narratives whose sole aim is to thrash the Church but also to scoff at, mock and ridicule religious faith. The religious sisters he condemns have contributed significantly to health care, education, social outreach and care for homeless people in a way he could ever envisage or appreciate. The modern, pluralist, multicultural and economic Ireland wants to consign these very courageous people to a footnote in history. The vision of Mother Mary Aikenhead travelled far beyond these shores to many poorer countries where the sisters were and are at the forefront of education, health and social outreach to the poorest, especially for young women who, in some countries were denied access to education but for the good sisters. I wonder how far will the atheistic rhetoric of Stokes (and co.) go towards the building of a more just, equitable, fairer, more caring and kinder society? Apart from his Hot Press profile, what is there to see of his “amazing” outreach for the betterment of society’s ills? As is said of such critics – all talk but no action.

The Crown or the PSNI is NOT owned by the Catholic Church so they like MP’s are NOT allowed to interfere with JUSTICE.
There is NO blushes in the Archdioceses of Armagh and certainly NO injunction.
Father Aiden McCann has asked his Bishop for leave of absence and under Canon Law that has been granted.
However the Crown do not have their full case complete and it will be returning to the court in due course however Father Aiden McCann insists he is innocent of this accusation and therefore Archbishop Eamon Martin cannot do or say anything until the Crown is finished with the case.
In UK law you can only take an injunction out to stop issues however you cannot in a Criminal situation.
Father Aidan McCann is not foolish he has his “Friends” who are Canon Lawyers advising him or Archbishop Eamon would have suspended him however his faculties have been suspended while he is on leave.

Marty Whelan is a national treasure. The Irish song was terrible. It never had a realistic chance of making the final. Fr. Ted’s – My Lovely Horse would have been a better entrant!!

9.29 As good a priest as was ever ordained……he left…..but he would be incisive and exhaustive on the subject. I could not speak highly enough of him and his efforts in life. A loss to the priesthood but Blessings in Multidude for his life. A very good person. Bill Mulvihill

Bill, you are very naive in your defence of Gabriel. If he is such a good friend to you, ask him who Louise is and what she means to him.

8.57 haven’t met him in over ten years….but on my parents grave I would vouch for his authenticity …..not sure he’d reciprocate it…..but that does not matter….a good man. Hope he has not hurt anyone……

8.57 I am surmising….but Louise and her kind should find more available men….stronger men. This may be a prejudice but I am no expert in the area. Vulnerable men of all ages are plentiful……and easy pickings for the maternal personality….as opposed to Lust and Love. Motivation for relationship is in the infancy stage of human enquiry….

I have lost two classmates…whom I hold and held in the highest regard….still do….I think they hold me culpable for what has appeared on this Blog because of my affinity with Bishop Buckley….Nothing could be further from the truth as I hope Pat would witness…..but i won’t stand for the downing of Gabriel Lyons by anyone on this site….should there be any move against him, it would beg a bigger question. I go out on a limb here because I do not know if there is a substantive matter but Gabriel Lyons is and always was a good man. Bill Mulvihill

10.38 I neglected to name my classmates and friends that I hold in the highest regard but who no longer bother with me ….. Francis Lee, the most talented. amiable and gregarious of persons and Neil Dargan whose every skin pore sweats integrity. My loss….their mistaken judgement. The RCC and all relationships within it; a snake pit.

Let me say with all my negatives; Eamonn Martin is of blameless life; on that score he is of the most benevolent integrity. No friend of mine.
