This action by Phonsie in my opinion, shows Cullinane to be a sadist – a nasty sadist.
He published this information to deliberately and further hurt Father Geoghegan.
And in his piece he is telling a LIE!
It is NOT true that Father Geoghegan is no longer a priest. He is still, and always will be, a priest.
“You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek”
“Once a priest – always a priest”.
Father Geoghegan may no longer be a cleric in the RCC clerical caste.
In fact Father Geoghegan is still required by church law to extend the Last Rites to anyone in danger of death.
PHONSIE’S TREATMENT OF FATHER GEOGHEGAN
Phonsie treated Father Geoghegan in a totally despicable manner.
He generally sent for him at night time, after dark, and bullied him.
And Phonsie is a bully!
Father Geoghegan did not sign the forms put in front of him by Phonsie freely, willingly and without fear and intimidation.
The priest who accompanied Father Geoghegan to meet Phonsie was not a canon lawyer and not in a position to give him the best advice and protection.
I think that Father Geoghegan has a very arguable case with which to appeal to Rome.
Phonsie is heading for a fall.
Phonsie, believe me, is heading straight for his Waterloo !
