EMELYN MC GINN’S name is by no means new to me.

I have heard his name often, from priests and people.

So, I was not under the impression that Emelyn and the Blessed Virgin Mary had a great deal in common.

He has left marks and impressions behind him.

But to learn that Emlyn had interfered with Ryan Mc Aleer when Ryan was a seminarian, was very new information for me.

As readers will know I have been helping a young man who claims to have been sexually assaulted by Ryan to the point where there were injuries on his body.

In the past we have heard about Quinn, Rory, Mc Camley , Mc Veigh, Mc Cann etc.

IS ARMAGH ARCHDIOCESE NOW A BIG GAY SAUNA?

It is becomung it abundantly clear that Armagh is rotten – and rotten to the core.

I have read that book many times, one of my favourite reads, probably The Little Prince is the only other book I have read so often. When I went to order Steward Lee Allen’ s other book, amazing response from the Bookshop I always buy through. It has never been imported into Ireland, as well as many other countries. This is the ex priest of Clogher Diocese mentioned by Bill yesterday. Seems he has an interest in devotional language, it’s a pity he hadn’t been more devoted to promise to live celibately when a seminarian. if that’s the case re Mulvihill,, so he’s an insider who knows where the skeletons in the closet are as regards to RCC and Diocese of Armagh as well.

I thought that I have enough of these shocks re the RCC bigwig’s behavior but today’s blog was far more shocking as it kept coming because I didn’t think it would from my perspective.

It seems to me from today’s blog, that the diocese of Armagh fared a lot worse than the diocese of Cloyne. What I don’t understand was, how did he get that bishopric job in the first place. The image that this blog portrayed the diocese of Armagh as gross incompetence. If it was in the business world, it’s a sackable offence for constant or repeated mistakes.

Re his past history, teaching cos I know he has a degree in mathematics but not catholic theology degree if I’m correct or not.

Dangerous is an interesting word in Church Speak and has quite a different meaning to its normal definition of ‘able or likely to cause harm or injury’. In Church Speak it only refers to anything likely to reveal the activities of the church and its gang members and by extension, anyone who speaks their mind about it.
There is a slightly more diffused meaning of dangerous which is if someone is dangerous they would love to kill them and are doubtless looking for legal or illegal ways to silence them.
For example: Pat Buckley is dangerous.
Even this comment revealing their meaning would be called dangerous and there will be a cathbot trying to guess my identity at this moment.

Bill Mulvihill I certainly do not think Archbishop Martin or anyone in RCC is going to get someone murdered in 2022 as DNA and forensics is vast for the littlest of things so your not goinng to get murdered.

I am now going to ask someone the name of the priest who reported E Mc Ginn when he was a student. He was at an ordination and staying in a room with two beds. No, Eamon wasn’t made interim professor/director of sacred music, however he was appointed director of the college choir for a year (even though he was only a student at the time) until a lay man, Dr John O’Keefe, was appointed. Eamon used to complain that he was unpaid in the role. Many thought that he was a poor director of the choir. 3D noted that Amy believed that repetition was the mother of learning, given his tendancy to pick the same music over and over again, including Protestant hymns, the use of which was contrary to the Maynooth choral tradition in which chant had preeminence.

Lavery was director of the college choir as well as being director of sacred music. Eamon just got the director of the choir bit of the job and the director of sacred music post was left unfilled until John O’Keefe got it. It was separate from the Professor of Music job in the civil NUI side of Maynooth (though that too had been occupied by a priest until the 1980s).

Eamon was close to Lavery in the sense that he was senior cantor in the college chapel and a member of the choir, so their paths crossed often.
Frank the night watchman used to tell people that during the course of one of his nightime patrols he found the door of the junior infirmary sitting wide open. He went in and saw the door of Lavery’s room also was open. He went in and found Lavery doing the bizz with a seminarian, whose name has been bandied about for years. Bishop Pat and William, I have to believe there is some good priests or everything I’ve ever believed will have been a lie. I follow Jesus and I need my faith and its all that keeps me going most days. I’m horrified by the goings on of the clergy but Ive learned to turn a blind eye to the homosexuality as nearly all or most are gay. I don’t know what to do, I don’t want to leave as they’re really is no alternative. It’s a very sad state to be in.

Pat, I have to say, you’ve lost control today. This blog has descended in to a farce. If the allegations are true, the comments section simply makes a mockery of it all.
If Bill has a story to tell, WRITE IT DOWN IN ONE BLOODY PLACE. Spreading this over comment after comment makes this unmanageable, laughable and a lot less credible.
And before you all shout cathbot, yes, I am a practising Roman Catholic, however, I am well aware of the evil and muck in the Church that needs the light of day shed upon it to allow us to begin a purification of the Church.
Another suggestion – I think the comments section should have email address as a mandatory part of the submission. Yes, people can make false email addresses but things can always be traced back. If someone doesn’t want to share a comment with their email publicly, they can share it with you privately. I often say to people who complain – put your complaint in writing with your name and address included and it will be considered. Just something to consider.

Bill, surprisingly, I’m on your side here. You have some very useful information that can bring about justice for the victims of these disgusting individuals. One concise statement of facts would be very powerful (in my humble opinion).

On a side note, you said in an earlier comment that you were a “bit of a wordsmith” (comment Jul 7, 2022 at 9:44 am). If this is you being a wordsmith, I’d hate to see you write a book! Unlike you, I spent my OWN money to get my qualifications and didn’t mooch off the Church for a long time with a free house, etc. AND, who knows if you’re squeaky clean? You reek of a Dominic Cummings type person – always on the edge of things with a notebook gathering dirt on people, so that when the ship goes down, you can jump early and say “oooh I told you so”

11.31 The documents I shall give to Pat in a few weeks time will indicate to you that I left and was not booted out. Archbishop Martin in all his letters left the door open to my return. Decent enough of him and he had a great decency at one stage. I did ask him at that March 2019 meeting: “Are you going to dismiss me from the clerical state?” He replied coldly with an even colder grimace ” Only if you want me too.” It was all cold, but the letters were always courteous and invitational both to meet and to return. Fr Mark Cassidy has been appointed as the new Rector of the Scots College in Rome. Don’t know much about him but he seems well liked and respected in Dundee.
