THIRD ALLEGED WOMAN VICTIM OF GER FITZGERALD IS NAMED.

The Blog has received an allegation that a third lady has been hurt by Ger Fitzgerald.

That allegation – and it is an allegation at this stage – has been passed on to Fintan Monahan.

Dear Fintan,

It has been reported to me that Xx Xxxxx Xxxxxxx of Xxxxxxxx was hurt “physically and emotionally” by your Fr Ger Fitzgerald.

I have written to this third alleged victim.

I formally request you to investigate this serious allegation.

Your brother bishop,

+ Pat Buckley

I have also communicated with the alleged third victim.

This particular victim is in a particularly difficult position with regards the RCC and her employment.

If he finds out what a money making machine the canonisation process is he’ll convert. He wouldn’t set himself up as a church and thus 501(c)(3) non-profit to save tax because he doesn’t pay tax.
Probably one of his followers would be stupid enough to claim a miracle through his intercession though, probably turning their skin orange or something.

Pat, if it’s only an allegation and not properly validated, why print this allegation? If true, it’s an appalling indictment on Ger and I trust that you will, as a matter of justice and fairness, corroborate the information given to you. But with so much info about this priest to date, it is a possibility.

Mark Moriarty
Killarney native Mark Moriarty will be ordained to the deaconate in his home town next Sunday afternoon.
The ceremony, at which Bishop of Kerry Ray Browne will officiate, will take place in St Mary’s Cathedral from 3.00pm.
Mark has spent the last number of years in formation for the priesthood in St Patrick’s College, Maynooth and he will be ordained to the priesthood, to serve in the Diocese of Kerry, in the coming months.
A former student of St Brendan’s College, Killarney, Mark is the son of Brian and Marjorie Moriarty from Aghadoe. He has been very involved with Killarney Legion GAA Club and St Paul’s Basketball Club over the years.
All are welcome to attend Mark’s ordination to the diaconate.

@8.12 no Pat. It has been islamic for a mere 1400 years. Judea was a small Roman province for around 300 years around Jerusalem – never mind Jaffa, Tel Aviv which were never Jewish! Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.
Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.

A canonical trial differs from a civil, criminal case. Don’t be expecting crown court and it being open to the public.

9.12 oh right, all behind closed doors is it, the only time the church goes public is when asking for money or telling lies to cover up for their cabal.

If Michael D refused Sabina’s inappropriate words, equating Russian aggressive and Ukrainian self defence, she’d have beaten him up. They’d no shame about bitterly arguing in front of civil servants when a minister. Maybe pray for poor Michael D….

I would not be of Micheal D politics, but if we have to have one, which I don’t think we need it, it should be him until he feels like giving it up.

+Arthur Roche, bankrupter of Leeds, paladin of the ‘spirit of Vatican 2’ has a cameo appearance in the Netflix special delivering a very fulsome eulogy. The Netflix special seems to make no mention of his long term girlfriend Sue Hymns who was fiercely defending her Jimmy on morning television, but it became a bit of a torrent, and nothing on his defiling the dead. That one might have it, but I suppose there’s so much vileness, but Jimmy Saville didn’t hide his Catholic faith, although that was probably mostly an extension of his creepy mother worship, and she very much had the old style devoutness. For that matter his own writing and words didn’t hide his creepiness. He assaulted girls on TOTP. The Netflix was very good on the fanatical celeb worship this member of the media Leeds mafia enjoyed.

10:25 Given how he was all Hermeneutic of Continuity under Benedict, Roche seems like one of these malleable, very flawed characters that seem to enjoy favour in the current Vatican. If Francis ever followed through on promise / threat #45453 to retire, Roche can be relied upon to tack in the wind of any new Pope, so a bit more conservative with a Pope Erdõ, middling with a Pope Delphini, or maybe more of the same with a Pope Tagle. Whoever is elected might decide he needs someone of integrity who can give him unwelcome advice. Arthur may have many talents like figure staking, overspending and spoofing, but giving candid, unwelcome advice to a boss isn’t one of them.

9.39 You Fool. So expressing an opinion is now a contravention of government policy. The policies of this government are the most pitiful in the history of this state . Sabina Higgins expressed the view of all right thinking people. The Ukranian Government at the behest of the USA and even more spurious forces are offering up their people on an altar of sacrifice for the glorification of “Western” domination . It is shameful. Now, perhaps, when that Carleton leaves Taiwan, China will ( like Russia) invade…at USA planning. Its pitiful….Coffee, Arms and Oil….you pick whats at work here under the Biden Gov.

Not on subject,, I know. But I came across this in The Tablet: https://www.thetablet.co.uk/news/15723/croagh-patrick-pilgrimage-returns-as-concerns-grow-for-future-of-church My immediate thought is, ‘whereTF has this Archbishop Duffy been for the last 20 years ?’ What he describes has been coming clearly for decades, and still nothing was done about it but amalgamate parishes, import foreign priests and burying heads in the sand. I wonder why he is surprised ! Most bishops and Rome just want an easy life, and addressing the issues he talks about is in the ‘too difficult’ box. I note that he describes the situation, but other than some vacuous mutterings about people getting themselves ready to take prayer services, he offers no solutions. Which to even the. most dimmest mind should be obvious. It is about changing clerical culture, ordaining a whole variety of people, not just celibates, including women. And it means the Church concentrating on the essentials of the gospel rather than obsessing about sex, relationships, sexuality and what people do in their own legitimate lives. Please, Archbishop Duffy, the solution are quite simple, but duffers like you are too scared to make even the simples of obvious changes and developments. I despair !

9.37: I share your sentiments and thoughts. 30 years ago when we noticed the social, moral, cultural, religious and political changes emerging many of us begged our Bishops to mandate all parishes to elect/choose as many lay faithful as possible to be trained and educated in the ways of leadership and administration for parishes, to form dedicated youth evangelizing teams, to widen the meaning of ministry, particularly for the inclusion of women at all levels. There were sufficiently good numbers attending masses then but all was to change irrevocably once the clerical abuse cases were revealed. We lost the trust and good will of thousands and gradually people began questioning and analysing, many eventually walking away. At a time when money was good and people generally supportive, our pleas to the bishops were ignored. Thus we now find ourselves listening to the same tune, “we have to make radical changes”. We knew this 30/40 years ago, but our Bishops disillusioned us by ignoring our pleas. Some parish priests and curates were superb in creative reorganizing of parishes but we got no visionary leadership from the Bishops. Sadly today, priests, older and alone and tired, are very disillusioned. To survive spiritually, mentally and emotionally, you have to make a personal choice to just do what you can and as best you can. I know we must respond to different times but the challenge often overpowers. You are right: The solutions are quite simple but…..will our Church leadership really listen? Prophetically would be wonderful!

Armagh is quiet these days. Amy Martin has kept Clerical Changes very safe this year. And kept his most high-profile problem – Fr Ryan McAleer – off the radar.
You clearly have unnerved our Amy, Pat.

Archbishop Martin has clearly demonstrated that he also fails to understand the meaning of truth and transparency. They are a dangerous shower always covering up physical, emotional and financial abuse. Anyone affected should prepare full and detailed Victim Impact Reports
