VATICAN AND FRENCH BISHOPS TRIED TO COVER UP THUS STORY!!!

A new scandal tarnishes the image of the Catholic Church. A scandal that took place in the Channel. Mgr Michel Santier, former bishop of Créteil, was sanctioned by the Vatican for “spiritual abuse leading to voyeurism on two adult men“. Facts that took place in the 1990s in Coutances (Manche).
The facts were committed while he was a priest in Coutances as part of a spiritual accompaniment, at the school of Faith, a prayer training school for 18-30 year olds, of which he was director at the ‘era. Bishop Santier, who has been retired for a year, has recognized these acts of voyeurism. He tendered his resignation in June 2020 two years before the legal age required by the Vatican (75 years).
No complaint from the victims but a report to the religious authorities
The two victims did not file a complaint but made themselves known to the Church authorities in 2019. Rome’s disciplinary action dates back to last year but the case has just been revealed by the weekly Christian Family
and confirmed by press releases this Friday evening from the dioceses where he exercised, in particular the diocese of Coutances.
I am aware that this news is a great shock
Following these measures, Monsignor Laurent Leboulc’h, the current bishop of Coutances explains that he “asked Bishop Santier to leave Saint-Pair-sur-Mer to join a community of sisters“. This is the abbey of Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte where ” he leads a life of withdrawal and prayer“and y”provides a limited ministry“, adds Monsignor Leboulc’h who also expresses in this press release his “compassion“ for the victims and those hurt by these revelations. “I’m conscioushe writes, this news is a big shock.”
Mgr Dominique Blanchet, current bishop of Créteil, also in a press release assured the victims of his “compassion“. In October 2021, the Catholic Church was shaken by the publication of the shock report of the Sauvé Commission who has documented the extent of pedocrime within the religious institution over the past 70 years. In Lourdes, in November 2021, the episcopate recognized his “institutional responsibility“as well as the character”systemicof this violence.

Imagine a world FREE of religious, hierarchical PARASITES. It’s a truly beautiful vision, because Jesus did NOT intend a priesthood. His death and resurrection broke down the historical bonds of Jewish priesthood (and, therefore, of priesthood of ANY kind), setting ALL of us, men, women, and children to approach God, not through any intermediary, but directly, and confidently.
See a priest, ANY priest, and see someone who wants to keep you from God, but beholden to himself.

The Roman Catholic Church sure attracts some seriously sick and twisted types. Nasty corrupt cult on the make big time. High time all its billions and billions were seized by international policing authorities and redistributed to estates of deceased victims, living survivors and invest any remaining in policing services to combat any connected church related corruption by clergy and their well connected professional laity in high office worldwide.

A wonderful vision. Inspired! But it will never be realised, not while there remains priesthood.
The problem isn’t celibacy, or unchastity, or infidelity to God, or whatever else you choose to call. Unless you call priesthood itself. Remove it, and you remove clerical hierarchy.
It was a sadducean priest, Caiaphas, who had Jesus crucified, and it is from priesthood today that Jesus is daily being walked to Calvary.
When will people learn? Do they even want to learn?

It’s bizarre. A ‘school’ for training young men to pray? Nonsense.
Praying is the most natural thing in the world. We were created to pray every bit as much as we were created to breathe. We aren’t trained to breathe, nor do we require training to pray.
I remember having, in the ‘Wing’, two Italian priests come into the Common Room; they were introduced to us as ‘prayer experts’. As their talk to a roomful of sems in their late teens and early twenties progressed, I thought: Prayer experts? Aye, right!
The younger of the two priests was clearly feasting on all the fresh eye candy before him. He couldn’t take his eyes off us, nor had he the maturity to do so with at least a modicum of discretion.

So, this bishop had two guys kneel, starkers, before the Tabernacle and while in confession? This reminds me of that Anglican bishop, Ball.
Are people thick? Didn’t those men think WTF?! No, freakin’ way, Hosea!
Why do people throw common sense to the wind when under a so-called ‘authority figure’ ? Why do they drop their guard? The answer lies in psychology. Somewhere. Not in spirituality.
The most blatant culture for abuse of this kind is precisely what has traditionally, in the Catholic Church, been held up as virtue: ‘holy obedience’. When a person subscribes mentally to this cultic control, he hands himself over to be abused severally.
The only safeguard against this form of human suppression is liberty of personal conscience. But the Catholic Church, from at least the time of Paul, has considered conscience, and the freedom to weigh for oneself the moral prioritisation of choices, a deadly enemy. Sometimes it has been, but not always so.
When an ordinand promises or vows obedience to a bishop, he is surrendering the most precious safeguard he has against moral corruption, of himself and others: his conscience.

NEW YORK – New York Attorney General Letitia James today announced a landmark settlement with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo (Buffalo Diocese, the Diocese), resolving a lawsuit filed in November 2020 that alleged the Buffalo Roman Catholic Diocese persistently failed to address the child sexual abuse crisis and systematically evaded the very reforms it publicly adopted nearly 20 years ago for investigating, reviewing, and responding to abuse complaints.
Instead, the Buffalo Roman Catholic Diocese protected accused Roman Catholic sex abuser priests from facing the potential consequences of abuse accusations by quietly removing them from Roman Catholic ministry.

When I saw your comment on Mother Burke as I say to my self ‘oh gawd’. That’s something that I don’t want to see him in cappa magna, just kidding 🤣🤣.
I’m opposed to mother Burke becoming a Pope. The story in his old diocese I think it was wisconin, not sure. But the moral of the story was that church was built and funded by the laity aka ‘sheep’ as some posters here like to call it. When it came to as who really owns that building. It’s polish laity with their monies.
Burke tried to sell the church and take the money but polish laity refused to back down which ended up in surpreme court. It says all the more about Burke. Then he used his favourite means of control such as excommunication to put the fear of God in Polish laity. What kind of Bishop who does that kind of thing? It doesn’t look good from outside perspective.
Thats why I’m opposed to Burke even though he has some irish roots not far from my grandmother place back in early 1900s.
Which is better frankie or Benedict as that’s the matter of debate for Latin Mass adherents? Damian Thompson has a deep loathing for frankie re his videos shocking in the least re Argentina.
At end of the day, both popes covered it up, period. No question.

The parishes belong to the people and not the dioceses or clergy.
When parishes amalgamate or close the buildings and funds go to the new parish.
The so called catholics in Dublin do not want the poorer parishes amalgamated on to them if they have debt or buildings in disrepair.
That’s the so called “good” Catholics.
bishops and Priests are only Managers or CEO as the power if with Diocesan or Parish Finance teams.
Parish levy (10%, 15%, 20% depends on parish) keeps the Bishops and Diocesan staff.

Yes correct re name of that parish church which I couldn’t rem the name, just it was stuffed with polish laity thats what I remembered.
Now you mention the ‘cult’. Mother Burke had used his weapon of control just 4 days after when that church was PACKED on Christmas day.
Then it issued with orders of excommunication on 29th December which was designed to put the fear of God in polish laity in that parish or to keep them in check. That was a specified control measure to keep them IN rather than out. That was one of the characteristics of any cult defintion.
That didn’t work then it went on to supreme court to sort them out as it turns out that Polish laity were the winners.
Any cult expert would tell you this but not myself.
