How in the name of all that is holy, does living in a Brussels’ mansion, eating caviar hor d’oeuvres, drinking pink champagne, in various embassies and Michelin starred restaurants suddenly become a MINISTRY !!!

Is it based on that piece from the Gospel that says

“I send you out like Princes among the plebs. Carry a full purse of Euros and a Gamarelli haversack. Only salute the rich and famous on the boulevards. Whenever you go into a house, make sure it is a rich man’s house. If Michelin standard, eat what is set before you. Let your first words be: “I’m here to collect Peter’s Pence”. Amy is one of those in the RCC who invent new notions in order to justify church behaviour that is not of God and not according to the mind of Christ.

Jesus NEVER INTENDED a Vatican State, a Vatican Bank, a Vatican Museum, a King Pope, His church owning trillions and trillions, papal nuncios, bishop’s palaces, etc

All these things are the inventions of men – a minority of men who have hijacked His church and like in the Temple turned it into a den of thieves and robbers.

The RCC is not organised and run according to the mind of Christ and His New Testament teachings.

It is simply an international conglomerate based on money, power, control and corruption of every kind.

Ahhh, some interesting names there ! Seed has now gone to seed, I think. Wasn’t there some little local trouble that saw him put out to grass – financial irregularities and accusations concerning the sale of Papal knighthoods ? Yes, he was a bit of an attention seeker and able to make maximum advantage out of his connections. Osman is still living it up in his very fine Georgian presbytery with a private mooring on the Thames in Dorchester on Thames. Been there decades. Grace and favour stuff from his old Cambridge chaplain mate, Couve. Some say that they let him stay there because he’s been spending his own money on doing the place up and keeping it going. The Birmingham gay pretty boys sent off to Rome: Well, there was Sharkey, not pretty, probably not gay, and a bit full of himself, but he ended up coming back to Brum when he realised he wasn’t really going to get anywhere, and has since spent his time on the pastoral mission. When he came back Maurice sent him out to Chelmsley Wood to bring him down to earth ! Cruel ! I think there’s another B’ham priest currently doing desk duty in the Vatican, Paul Moss, another who thinks a lot of himself and was always trooped out as the up and coming new bright young thing. I see he’s living in the VEC, no doubt seen as a good role model for the boys there ! And, a clutch of other Brum priests off in the military as chaplains, doing very little and getting paid a lot. In the meantime, the clergy directory abounds with the names of priests who have come from abroad – still some Polish, but mostly Indian, Sri Lankan, Filippino, Vietnamese etc. It is very definitely a reverse missionary diocese. As are the congregations. That’s the way it’s going. Like it or not.

Romanists tend to ‘ministrisize’ all their activities to make them appear not just morally legitimate, but even a divine imperative. It’s a way of declaring their actions holy, beyond reproach. The Pharisees thought of their activities in much the same way.
Romanists speak of priesthood in this manner, despite the fact that Jesus neither instituted priesthood, nor needed it (since he would accomplish what it could not: atonement for sin).
The truth is that Treanor is ‘orf’ to Brussels to luxuriate with the ‘beau monde’. But, then, he’s only following Jesus’ example, isn’t he? Calling to humility the wealthy and powerful? Of course he is.
If this elite is unsure, Treanor will show them the way. By long example.

Pat, you know that 1000 men joined Robert Nugent for a full day of Prayer, Rosary, Adoration and Confession in Derry recently. What an incredible success story! Now I’ve just noticed a few videos from him, one or two from Paris visiting shrines and one from Signapore….where, out in a morning walk at 6.00am, bare chested, he is calling for the Singaporean men to join him for a Rosary rally this Sat. in an amenable Catholic church…Is this fanaticism or true evangelization? I’m amazed at his passion for saving the Catholic Church and his focus on men. Did you have ever think of doing an outreach like this in the country? Maybe God is working powerfully through him? Great post Pat and very interesting to think of the RCC as an organization as a whole entity over time.
I have no doubt Jesus did not intend his pastors to expend much time on eating canapes and foie gras in embassies. One has to look at the whole monstrosity that is the RCC and ask, has it had a positive contribution overall? It has created 2 billion odd Catholics. Was it Jesus express mission to deliver quantity over quality? Hardly. Did he intend to create a country of squinting windows in Ireland? No. Did he intend pastors to take care of the flock and genuinely spread the message of love of God? Yes, but they haven’t done that.
What they have done is hoard massive sums of cash and keep begging from the public for more. The Crusades -check. Institutional child abuse -check. Illegal adoption -check. Influencing governments and retarding social change -check. Murder -check. Imprisoning unmarried mothers -check. Institutional pedophilia – check. Did Jesus want all this? No. They are a terrorist organization and should be prescribed.

Where is justice for survivors of Church abuse so survivors can live in peace…? Lame duck Amy claims, “There is a crying need for atonement,
inner healing and hope in the aftermath of the abuse scandals”.
(‘The aftermath’, as if its all over….coverup of scandals is ongoing.)
So, what is Amy going to do in relation to meeting the need for atonement? NOTHING. He gives the impression it has nothing to do with him. There were at least 56,000 women entered those Mother and baby institutions and a further 25,000 likely lived within private institutions.

Saw photos of yesterday blog, few things jumped out at me-bishops looked well fed, fat and clean,living life of a king.
Where did it all go wrong, that is not what jesus intended to be. From the bible, jesus wore plain clothes of that time, he had no possessions with him, he usually eats with people at their house via invitation, he preached from the hills or rear of a fishing boat. He had nothing on him, bibe never said or didn’t say it nor mention it if he owned a home with exception of his parents home.
What’s bugging me was these bishops have millions in their bank accounts,but at the same time, they still want us to contribute our 💰💰 on every Sunday cash collections-🤷‍♀️
What more do these bishops want?
Alarms bells rang for me re rcc was as it started to erode trust from there.
1st one was breaking the seal of confession by Vincentian priest now deceased.
2nd was Bishop Casey.
3. Trocaire-misuse of funds.
4. Cruelty of the nuns which was re-awakened me at later stage via ptsd. It took me ages to recover from this. What I mean was it turned and upsided down me as it took me some six months to undo
it without knowing it was ptsd a that time. My pysch report shocked everybody (certain few) who read it as I didn’t realise it was so bad until it hit me. Now I’m on sort of recovering mode instead of destructive mode.
5. Trust in rcc gone re their denials especially the nuns who deny and deny it until they went blue in their faces. Fair play to order of Christian brothers who acknowledged and admitted it. As I realised now nuns (daughters of the cross of liege) were only interested in money in the guise of charity. Cos it was a private school at first as parents had to pay for it until state came over.
6. Read John gillespie book, thought that there was something wrong with rcc cos they dont preach about it, don’t do healing etc. One comment of his struck me as incredulous was his claim that you don’t healed at mass, it’s prayer that does it. Its prayer that governed God, not the mass.
His point as i understand was that you don’t have to go to mass in order to get healed. Protestant and other religious orientation went to him for healings. He had a visiting priest there at one time but no mass. At first, I thought he was talking baloney re prayer but it struck me that it worked for me re his prayer book. I was just astounded when I saw it. So something had to be right re him. It had me wondering why people didn’t get healed in rcc. No healings in rcc sort of implied or suggested it that it isn’t working. He got barred from Catholic churches re his talks or his retreat as bishops didn’t like it. He had to go to hotels ballroom or indescript halls to preach his message.
Jesus got barred from preaching in jewish churches or Jewish places so he had to go outside to hills or fishing boats to preach it. It was bit similar to gillespie as I thought.
People are still looking for healing even right now. Pentecostal is all the rage in Brazil.

Forgot to add was the movie ‘Philomena ‘ which helped me to understand the nuns in some ways. I didn’t understand the cruelty of the nuns fo years until I saw that movie. It made sense to me re their behaviour, their motives, their attention towards rich people who had a deaf child et al.

I find it interesting note the increased negative critical view of the RCC not only in +Pat’s blog comments, but in the wider community. This is now more widely spoken of locally: “Did you realise this shit was going on; is that why you left the seminary, …..why you’re an atheist?”
Increasingly reported in the media, fear of the clergy diminishes and ridicule of their preposterous claims increases as the public become more aware of their self serving aggrandisement.
Some interesting facts from hust released March 2021 England and Wales census:
Fewer than half of the population of England and Wales describe themselves as Christian;
People with no religion increased by 12% to 37%, ie 22million which was the second most common response after Christianity.
The bishops’ response?
Their lordships hide in bunkers, ‘cos that’s what bishops do.
Eyes tight shut, hands over ears, they haven’t got a clue.
In days gone by they’d always try, to let the storms subside.
I’m telling you that just won’t do. There’s nowhere now to hide.
Whenever Pat gets a smell of a rat, his ‘blogs of war’ ensue.
And bishops scurry, filled with worry, their past misdeeds to rue.

What was disappointing was DBA refused to take any action in the form of redress nor correct unfair treatment.
Seamus, if you want to stop TD, just stop his promotion prospects if you like he’s young and long way to go to hisretirement.
Alternatively, report him to the Vatican curia or over his head if you like.
All it takes another mistake coming from TD to undo his promotion prospects. That remains to be seen.

A NEW AUXILIARY BISHOP FOR THE ARCHDIOCESE OF SOUTHWARK
On Monday 28 November 2022, it was announced that His Holiness Pope Francis has appointed Mgr Philip Moger as an Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of Southwark. A priest of the Diocese of Leeds for 40 years, Bishop-Elect Moger has, until now, been the Rector of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham in Norfolk.
On hearing news of the appointment, Archbishop John Wilson said
‘I am very grateful to His Holiness Pope Francis for appointing a new Auxiliary Bishop to the Archdiocese of Southwark. I offer to Bishop-Elect Philip Moger the warmest of welcomes. He brings a vast array of experience to this new mission, having served the Church as a priest for forty years. I know he will be such a great blessing to the people and communities in our Archdiocese, bringing gifts of joy, encouragement and personal warmth.’

@1:27pm Thank you but, yesterday, I was the first to reveal this appointment. Monger is a good appointment who will provide Southwark with skills that compliment those of the Archbishop. It seems that England and Wales is less anxious about bishop appointments that is the case in Ireland. Certainly, I pick that up from this blogBut you were slow with this. I was the first to announce the news.

Why do all those appointed as bishops say that they are humbled by their appointment? There are several wannabe bishops in our diocese and they wouldn’t recognise humility if it crawled up their leg and bit them on the arse. They are desperate to become a bishop and will stop at nothing to succeed. Humility my arse.

Mgr Robert Murphy, currently at the UN ? Not a looker these days. But, hey, a nice gig. Osman ? Did he really spend time in Bradford ? What a let down ! Seed. The true colour and interest is played by the gay boys, which is most of the Irish and English and one or two of the Polish and Eastern European clergy. Whatever liturgical persuasion they are. Mgr Robert Murphy has had a congenial life, including his current posting in New York:

“He is a native of Solihull in the West Midlands of England, just outside of Birmingham. He studied literature and civil law at Cambridge University and then entered seminary, obtained bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and theology at the Institut Catholique in Paris and then was sent by Bishop Maurice Couve de Murville of Birmingham to obtain a license in theology at the Gregorian University in Rome. He was ordained a priest in 2001.

In 2004, he was sent by his bishop to the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy where he received a doctorate in fundamental theology at the Gregorian. In 2007, he officially entered the diplomatic service of the Holy See and was sent successively to serve at the the nunciatures to Colombia, Argentina, Italy and Germany. In 2013, he was assigned to Rome where he worked as the personal secretary to Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Holy See Secretary of State, for six years, before being posted to the nunciature to india.”

Sharkey has been angry and unfulfilled since the day his thesis at the Gregorian was thrown out for re-evaluation and left him with egg on his face. Even though he got it at the end, he was left with a terrible searing memory. Never recovered. Vatican preferment was short lived. Back to Brum and grim, grim, grim life in miserable parishes. So unfulfilled
