Today, I have been told two new things with regards to Canon McCoy, the close friend of disgraced Bishop Robert Byrne, who appointed him Dean of H&N cathedral.
A ROMAN APPOINTMENT?
I have been told that the late Cardinal Cormac Murphy O’Connor offed McCoy a job in theRoman Curia as an official in the Congregation of Bishops.
McCoy declined the appointment. My informant said that Mc Coy was concerned that his “secrets” might get out?
AN ENGLISH BISHOPRIC?
I have also been told that Archbishop Malcolm Mc Mahon of Liverpool offered Mc Coy the position of auxiliary bishop of Liverpool and that Mc Coy again refused the offer.
Was Mc Coy again afraid that preferment might expose his active homosexuality and his penchant for inviting young men to gay sex parties?

“I am a former Catholic school girl, and Father Michael was our school’s priest. When I was 18/19 in about 2006/2007, I attended parties at his home in the parish (when he was at Our Lady Queen of Peace, Penshaw, Sunderland).
