Morris was one of 8 priests who attended the annual Education Mass on Thursday night-it had been rescheduled due to the strikes. He is at the far left next to Fr Hughes and Fr Lamb. You can also see Deacon Colum Martin, who, of course, made national news in Scotland. Schools took bus loads of pupils as representatives – surely this is a safeguarding issue? A teacher friend of my wife described it as a ‘beautiful Mass’ – if only people knew what was stood before them on the altar!!!!
TMTBCT can be a bit rambling at times but those twitter comments are actually astounding. You wouldn’t expect them from some scheme rat as opposed to a supposed man of the cloth. What a scumbag.
Given his profession, it probably isn’t the most offensive thing you’ll find on his internet history
Motherwell diocese, home of Bishop Joe Devine ,who admitted that RC schooling was “divisive”
Certainly looks like his legacy lives on
What is going on in Motherwell Diocese and in the Catholic Church in Scotland in general?
Not only are sexually active seminarians welcome in ministry – but so are people who have stirred up sectarian strife.
Despite his history and in the face of opposition from victims, priests, and people, Holy Toaly decided to ordain Christopher Morris.
After 3 parish priests refused to take him as their curatet, he was gladly accepted by the equally aggressive Fr Jim Grant at the National Marian Shrine of Carfin.
Well that didn’t last long…
Within weeks of his arrival parents and parishioners were so concerned by Christopher’s behavior, attitude and language that they reported him to the Parish Priest and Diocese.
Only months after Frs Grant and Christopher moved in a young residential musical director, it seems there has been a “lovers tiff.” Clearly, Christopher doesn’t take no for an answer and will not share.
Fr Grant has ordered Christopher out of the Presbytery and informed Holy Toaly that he wants him moved on. Holy Toaly is reluctant to move Christopher because it will look bad on him.
Christopher is currently on leave and we await the next development
PATRICIA MCKEEVER AND CATHOLIC TRUTH SCOTLAND
Patricia McKeever of Catholic Truth Scotland has been campaigning about Christopher Morris and Bishop Toal’s decision to retain him as a seminarian and ordain him:
Editor shares extracts from two messages which dropped into her inbox earlier this week…
Diocese of Motherwell – Ordination of Christopher Morris takes place today…
If you want to know how arrogant, deviant and dismissive the hierarchy are of the People of God just look at Motherwell Cathedral this Thursday [30 June, 2022] when Bishop Toal ordains Christopher Morris who is predatory and deviant. So much for victims and safeguarding.
A man reported during his time in Rome for cruising, attending gay bars, psychologically, physically and sexually bullying numerous fellow seminarians – for which reason the staff threw him out in no small part thanks to Catholic Truth.
Ed: This is a reference to my approach to the seminary rector some years ago, when Morris attended the Scots College in Rome. Christopher phoned me at the time and assured me that he understood that his behaviour had to change; he presented himself as contrite. Thus, his name was omitted from our reports into the the extent of homosexuality within the Church in Scotland, at that time. My more recent attempts to contact him have failed. All approaches have been ignored. Wherever did that sweet-talkin’ laddie go? Seems to have disappeared into the Motherwell Mist… Never mind; I will be praying for him today – and for the faithful souls who will be placed into his [whatdyimacallit] pastoral care. God help us all.
Despite advice from Christopher’s numerous victims, seminary and diocesan staff and his presbyterate for some reason Bishop [Toal] is still ordaining him. There will be few diocesan clergy present but as many protestors and of course most diocesan clergy are refusing to welcome him into their parishes… End of extracts.
Another fine Scottish homosexual mess…….
FATHER JIM GRANT
Yesterday afternoon, in an effort to get an insight into Fr Grant, I watched this video.
Belatedly, I acknowledge receipt of your e-mail of January 30, 2023 to which I now hasten to reply. It is appropriate to highlight that at the time of this writing, you are the only individual who has engaged with my ongoing concerns about safeguarding within Silverstream Priory.
As I have previously highlighted the homepage of Silverstream Priory, the “SAFEGUARDING” url links to the webpage: http://www.meathsafeguarding.ie. For the sake of completeness, I checked before the composition of this reply that this was still the case. Therefore, it is all the more astounding that nobody within the Diocese of Meath (who have stated responsibility on the website of Silverstream Priory for safeguarding) has responded to my correspondence. And it is not unreasonable to infer that safeguarding is not a concern for Bishop Deenihan when it comes to the priests at Silverstream Priory, which is a most extraordinary reality.
The catalyst for the present correspondence was reading on the RTÉ news website yesterday that the Carmelite Order has accepted that it was “a grave failure” that the “serial abuser” John McClean, a teacher and rugby coach at Terenure College was not stopped. I respectfully submit there is no material difference between the insouciance of the Carmelites and Bishop Thomas Deenihan with respect to their on-going indifference to responsibility for safeguarding at Silverstream Priory.
Therefore, I will ask you to IMMEDIATELY approach Bishop Deenihan to definitively establish who is responsible for the priests at Silverstream Priory from a safeguarding perspective. I further ask that this information be provided by Bishop Deenihan in the form of a signed letter, and that it appears on the website of Silverstream Priory, the safeguarding website of the Diocese of Meath, and any other publication/media outlet that you consider to be professionally appropriate.
This request for confirmation should be relatively straightforward, because we know that the founding superior, Fr Mark Kirby was incardinated into the Diocese of Meath by a decree of the emeritus bishop, Michael Smith. I am told and have confirmed with a number of priests in Meath that Kirby was incardinated from the Diocese of Tulsa. We further know that Fr Benedict Andersen was ordained a deacon and a priest before he made solemn monastic profession; he is therefore I am told a priest of the Diocese of Meath. And we have a deadly and ongoing silence about who is responsible for Fr Hildebrand Houser. Is he still a priest of the Archdiocese of St Louis or is he priest of the Diocese of Meath?
Because Silverstream Priory is a community of diocesan right it does not have the authority under canon law to incardinate its clerics. Therefore, the priests of Silverstream Priory are priests of the Diocese of Meath, and in the case of Fr Hildebrand Houser, he is either a priest of the Diocese of Meath; and if he is not, then he is a priest of the Archdiocese of St Louis. He cannot be incardinated in both dioceses; he must be dependent on one bishop to exercise priestly ministry. On which bishop is Fr Houser dependent upon for priestly faculties? It is a very simple question to answer.
In any event, I am told it is irrefutable from the perspective of canon law that every priest who exercises ministry in Silverstream Priory can only do so with the written permission of Bishop Thomas Deenihan — so, why is Bishop Deenihan utterly incapable of confirming this known reality? Why is Bishop Deenihan so afraid of answering this question? Is it because if he admits the canonical/legal reality he knows he will potentially face a number of lawsuits?
Quite simply I am asking: why are none of the priests of Silverstream Priory listed on the directory of priests functioning within the Diocese of Meath?
I again direct your attention to by blog posting about the presence of Boy Scouts at Silverstream Priory, because it adds considerable urgency to the pertinence of my questions.
The advice contained within your reply of 30 January 2023 is noted and appreciated. However (at this time) I am unaware of any allegation, suspicion or knowledge of child abuse that has taken place on the grounds of Silverstream Priory.
Nonetheless, I would be grateful for a prompt acknowledgement of the present. I would be further grateful for an undertaking from you to ensure that the requested information is available to the public by no later than Friday 5 p.m., 3 March 2023.
PS: I believe that transparency is good for the Church, so I will place a copy of this correspondence on my blog.

Last week in his Ad Clerum, Bishop Philip included:
“CLERGY DAY ON WEDNESDAY 28TH JUNE 2023
I would like to invite all priests and deacons in parish ministry to an important gathering in the diocese on the 28th June this year. It will be an opportunity to gather and find out what tools we need to help us as we embarkon our Ten-year plan of renewal and restructuring. Please make every effort to come to this gathering. The venue will be the Hampshire Court Hotel, Basingstoke, RG24 8FY. Further details to follow”.

Whilst this appears an innocent day of sharing his ten-year plan, it is in fact something quite sinister.
In his usual duplicitous way, Bishop Philipis preparing to strengthen his “will to power”.
The “tools” we are going to explore and hear more about is the therapy psychological assessment and supervision that Bishop Philip intends to force on clergy.
The intention is to use this”supervision” to assess, diagnose, label, and control a rebellious priest and to “treat” him if he struggles to see things the way the bishop does.
This supervision has been “boughtin,” and Heather Hauschild is the one behind it and is the promoter of such attempts to control “subordinates,” which she employed during her stint of damaging the NHS.
Any priest who attempts to refuse to rebuild the Catholic Church in Portsmouth, according to the divine intuition of the Bishop and Hauschild, will be diagnosed with a disorder and labelled for ever.
Just read again what Philip says above: “It will be an opportunity to gather and find out what tools we need to help us as we embark together on our Ten-year plan of renewal and restructuring.”
God help us in Portsmouth!”
Thank you, Father, for your communication.
Has there been any talk, or have you seen any evidence of psychologists or psychological programmes being brought into the diocese?
I’d like to see any evidence or indications.
I don’t think it is the bishop or COO’s job to psychoanalysis priests.
Especially if the priest or his agent does not report unwellnessor problems.
It would be very Orwellian or Third Reich like for such things to happen.
I believe that it is the so-called “managers” that have ruined the NHS.
Are they now going to be used to kill off what is left of the RCC?
At source, the RCC, is supposed to be a spiritual family.
Are they now going to employ accountants and psychologists to finish off what the corruptclerics and hierarchs have started?
“It was announced yesterday (Sunday) at the 11am TLM Mass in Sacred Heart, Bridgeton, Glasgow, one of four TLM Mass Centers in the Archdiocese, that the usual Celebrant, Fr Stephen (Dancer) Dunn, would no longer be saying the TLM anywhere and indeed the TLM in that parish was discontinued with immediate effect.
This is the beginning of Archbishop Nolan getting rid of TLM in the Archdiocese
The Mass was celebrated and the announcement was made by the TLM Diocesan Chaplain, Fr Gerard Byrne, aka The Naked Chef.
It was also announced that Dancer Dunn has been suspended (again) and had his faculties removed due to letters he has written publicly condemning Pope Francis, Archbishop Nolan and other Scottish bishops.
Dancer Dunn is from a well known Catholic middle class family. His Grandfather owned a Football Club, Greyhound Stadium, Dunns Biscuits and Dunns Solripe Ginger. His maternal Grandfather was a surgeon and his parents were GPS and Dentist.
This family has had too much influence due to their finances. A family who are well educated but obsessed with money and power and equally arrogant and screwed up. Dancer Dunn is no exception: an arrogant bully, mysogonist and homophobe. He rides rough shod over everyone and thinks he’s exempt from the rules that govern everyone eise. Not to say anything of them removal company here runs with hos white transit van which he charges cash for.
His comes from a long line of priests: on his Mothers side he is the nephew of the late Bishop John and Father Willie Mone and cousin of Fr John Mone. His mothers two brothers are priests: Fr Jim Sweeney, Passionist Provincial and Fr Tony Sweeney who infamously was caught paying off rent boys he’d meet in Public Parks. His Fathers brother, Fr Gerry Dunn, was a Columban Missionary who like Fr Stephen was obsessed with Communism, Fatima and Homosexuality.
Dancer Dunn has been a disaster in every parish he has been in and driven out of. He was only ordained as his Father paid for his seminary education and was Cardinal Winnings GP. He was previously removed as PP of Sacred Heart for physically manhandling primary school children and emotionally and verbally abusing parishioners and it was a disgrace that he was returned during lockdown & Sede Vecante period to a people he hurt & offended and who couldn’t wait to get rid of him.
He is of course a close friend and confidante of Patricia McKeever of Catholic Truth, 2 crack pots together and like Patricia he denies Vatican II.
Thanks to the bravery of Archbishop Nolan it’s good riddance to this drunken bully. May he never be inflicted upon Gods holy people again. He is the wolf in sheeps clothing
Its good to have this update on the Scottish church and TLM.
I’m glad to see the archbishop of Glasgow implement Pope Francis’ instructions on the TLM.
Why is Father Dunn called “Dancer”?
Is he good on his feet?
I actually liked Patricia Mc Keever when we spoke.I like her challenging spirit and her willingness and ability to challenge clericsand hierarchs.
GLASGOW UNDERTAKER IN COURT TODAYIN DOMESTIC CASE.
Authorities investigating the killing of a Los Angeles bishop Saturday have made an arrest in the case, law enforcement sources said Monday.
One law enforcement source said O’Connell was found dead in his bed of a single gunshot wound. Multiple law enforcement sources said the investigation so far has revealed no signs of forced entry at the Janlu Avenue home and the crime was not believed to be random.
ARRESTED MAN CONNECTED TO WOMAN WITH KEY TO BISHOPS HOUSE
Few details were immediately available on the arrest. The suspect, a man who was apprehended in Torrance, is tied to a woman with access to the bishop’s home, according to a source with detailed knowledge of the investigation.
The sheriff’s department’s Special Enforcement Bureau posted on Twitter that “a SWAT operation for an armed, barricaded suspect” in Torrance Monday morning “has concluded. Suspect in custody. Kenwood Ave reopened. Neighborhood safe.” However, a spokesperson for the department would not comment on whether the incident was connected to O’Connell’s death.
It is now clear that the bishop was shot in his bed and bedroom.
The arrested man is connected to a woman with access to the bishops house.
The murder appeared to happen at 1 pm.
Why was the bishop in bed at 1 pm? Was he ill?
Who was the woman with access to the house – a housekeeper, a cook, a cleaner, a friend?
Who was the man? The woman’s son, husband, partner, friend?
