CONFUSION – BISHOP O’CONNELL’S MURDER?

DAVID O’ ONNELL

A lot of confusion is emerging with regard to the murder of Bishop O’Connell.

HOW MANY GUN SHOT WOUNDS?

Initially l, the LA police said there was one gunshot wound to the torso.

Now they are saying there were FIVE gunshot wounds ?

AGE OF MURDERER?

Some people say the murderer was 61.

Others that he is 65.

PERUVIAN HOUSEMATE

Initially, we were told the bishop had a Peruvian “housemate.”

Now there is no mention of the housemate?

What kind of housemate was it?

CORRECTING MS MC KEEVER

PATRICIA MC KEEVER

Pat,

May I correct the corrections of Sr Patricia McKeever, O.Charm!

Dancer Dunns GrandFather did indeed own a Football Club known as Clyde FC and the Greyhound Stadium known as Shawfield! Sure Dancer as a boy sat in the Directors Box as arrogant then as he is now.

Dancer Dunns Grandfather both founded and owned Dunns Solripe. Sure Dancer never tired of telling us all of these facts and his families wealth and power at university/seminary.

There’s a lot more that we could reveal about Dancer but we won’t though you can read online or ask the poor parishioners.

So Sr Patricia your close friend Dancer ain’t telling you the truth. Good riddance to him and your newsletter. It ain’t over til Brave Archbishop Nolan sings the party’s over and he has begun to sing

I have known Father Dunn for many years. He is loud, eccentric and not everyone’s cup of tea. However, the one thing he is NOT is arrogant. Father Dunn loves the Church and the people he serves.

It’s extremely immature and misleading for your “source” to continue to refer to Father Dunn as “Dancer”. This relates to his time at school and has nothing to do with his adult life or priesthood.

There are many priests in the Archdiocese of Glasgow who deserve to be suspended but Father Dunn is not one of them.

Of course the reason the cathbots have been certain the bishop’s murder will just be a random murder for absolutely no reason is they look at law enforcement and recognize another corrupt system rotten to the core.

I’ve observed how Bishop Pat operates. When he suspects wrongdoing, his first article ‘raises an eyebrow’. This leads people in the know to offer information. He then raises it directly with the subject and tells them he intends to run a story. Next, he has them for breakfast and, like a proper journalist, drops the bomb at night, so it causes the cleric to choke on his cornflakes. He may be a priest and bishop, but he’s an old-school journalist to his bones and seldom, if ever, wrong.

Like

And we could tell he wasn’t sure about what the Portsmouth priest said about Egan diagnosing clergy because he didn’t use that technique but used the other classic one of just publishing it with a comment wondering whether it was true.
A very rare, dual vocation.

I like that he raises the allegation with the subject and invites their comment. This worked out well for Dom Alcuin who gave a robust response.

More and more, Pat, it looks like your “Scottish correspondent” is from Tipperary. No more Irish jokes, I promise! Please don’t send the Thought Police to my door! Now to the business of correcting this silly blighter who wouldn’t know a fact from a piece of fudge – specifically Scottish fudge.

Whilst the Dunn name was associated the things/businesses listed, neither Fr Stephen Dunn’s Grandfather nor his father was involved with them – FACT

So, too, the Mone connection was NOT through Fr Dunn’s mother’s side,
as he again incorrectly states. Incompetence? Deceit?

I don’t know the identity of your “Scottish correspondent” from Tipperary at all, at all, at all, but he’s a coward to hide his identity in the context of his insulting comments, including the use of a nickname for Fr Dunn, which means that I am denied the fun of giving HIM a nickname. He continually refers to Father Dunn as “Dancer Dunn” so he’s lucky it’s Lent and I can offer up that particular wee self-denial because I’d love to think up a suitable (or better still an UN-suitable) nickname for him. Something that takes account of both his inability to get his facts right and his effeminacy. Something like, maybe, Sloppy Sadie? He’s obviously what us (real) Scots call “an old woman’s blouse”. Clown.

If your “Scottish correspondent” shows some courage and divulges his real identity, I can easily improve on “Sloppy Sadie” – honestly, I’m good at being horrible. If, as I expect, he ducks out of identifying himself, tell him to, at least, send me a postcard from the Mountains of Mourne or somewhere in the Emerald Isle. It would cheer me up no end to know that I’m not sharing the same tarmacadam as someone who is a few sandwiches short of a picnic, a few bricks short of a bungalow and – in addition – is not the brightest button in the box.

For you very own edification.
JESSE ROMERO
As St. Jerome taught, “Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ.” Therefore, Roman Catholics should read the Holy Bible with the Heart of the Church and study the Holy Bible using Roman Catholic commentaries and the Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church.
Jesse holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, CA
and he has a Masters Degree in Catholic Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio.
Before and since then, he has spent his time teaching, speaking, writing, and giving Catholic Bible studies, Conferences, Missions, and Retreats on all matters relating to the Catholic Faith.
After rediscovering his Catholic roots, Jesse studied and prayed his way back to a fervent on–going practice of the Catholic Faith.
Through his vast experiences with non–Catholics and fallen–away Catholics alike, Jesse has become proficient on how to “speak the truth in charity” (Ephesians 4:15) and is very effective at bringing them into the fullness of truth found only in the Catholic Church.
As the proud parents of Paul, Annmarie and Joshua, Jesse and his wife Anita have been happily married since 1983.
“If your parish suffers from low energy, call me, I can jump start it. I’m a full Gospel, Bible Believing, Born Again, Spirit Filled, Evangelical, Orthodox Catholic Christian, washed and empowered by the blood of Jesus.
With a Bible in one hand, with a rosary in my other hand and with Jesus in my heart, you will hear the fullness of the Catholic faith in an evangelical style with devil destroying theology.” —Jesse Romero

Look, let’s get real here. This bishop is clergy. Clergy are inherently dodgy. Experts in hypocrisy and living parallel and contradictory lives. Whatever has happened to him will involve an aspect of that duplicity which lay at the very heart of his life as a priest / bishop. No doubt about it. Just wait for a while until the full story comes out, probably at trial, and we will see what really happened. Prepare for some shocks. Despite attempts by Gomez and the Church to cover up stuff, it will come out. It will not be pretty.

If uncle three in the bed Ted attended Bohemian Grove, we can assume other members of the Catholic hierarchy were Bohemian Grove groupies. How many Irish bishops priests or religious are members of the freemasons? Might freemasonic influence explain, to some extent, corruption in Irish Catholicism especially relating to Church-State affairs, such as covering up Catholic clerics criminality.

Like

The RC cult doesn’t need the freemasons to teach them how to be criminal. This is the classic distraction technique which has been taught to you by the RC ‘church’: it’s exactly the same as when they point out abuse elsewhere when in the spotlight.
If you stop looking for infiltration of the church and blaming certain groups within the church you discover the church is the problem. The whole thing.

Liked by 1 person

Of course the Catholic Church does not need freemasons to teach them how to be criminal. I’m very aware of criminality within and outside the Church. I have cross-paths with a number of very unsavory characters, some frequently mentioned on Bishop Buckleys blog. The Catholic Church does not operate in a legal civil or social vacuum. I’m suggesting collusion between Church and State, not infiltration. The cult of freemasonry is rampant in Ireland; a boys club network, which includes; professional classes, budding politicians and undoubtedly clergy of various denominations. The problem of evil behaviour is not exclusively Roman Catholic.

Good Shepherd Sisters being sued over alleged abuse at Marianvale Institution, Newry, Co. Down, Northern Irelandsays:

The woman bringing the action has had the case listed for trial in September at the High Court in Belfast.
She alleges that she was beaten and forced to give up her child at the Marianvale Institution in Newry, Co. Down as a pregnant teenager more than 40 years ago.
The woman contends that her son was taken for adoption shortly after she gave birth.
She claims that she was brought to Marianvale in about 1980 without her proper consent.
In a writ issued against The Congregation of our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd, she is seeking damages for the alleged negligence of those who ran the home.
Court papers claim she was:
Given a false name, forbidden from talking to other residents and punished if she disobeyed.
Forced into a strict regime of emotional and physical abuse which included being kicked in the stomach and having her hair pulled.
Led to believe she would be allowed to keep her child despite arrangements having been put in place to ensure the baby’s forcible adoption.
The woman’s solicitor, Claire McKeegan of Phoenix Law obtained a five day trial slot at a review before Mr Justice McAlinden.
A campaign spokesperson for a group that represents victims of the mothers and babies homes, Adele Johnson of Birth Mothers and their Chiidren for Justice says “this lady has been let down by the church and the government”. Hence this is a undoubtedly landmark case.
This campaign group has predicted that others may be forced to sue because of a failure to progress recommendations in the Truth Recovery Report since a target deadline of May 2022.
Not only have these women suffered the most appalling human rights violations in the past but now they have to subject themselves to a traumatising and stressful course of action.

The sedevacantist Traditio website also claims to have a contact in the diocese and here is what they are saying, in characteristic eccentric style, about the murder:
‘The Newarchdiocese of Los Angeles has been thwarted by local law enforcement over the execution of Newbishop David O’Connell. The Newarchdiocese Chancery Office originally hoped to report that O’Connell died “peacefully” in his sleep, but that version was thwarted by the report of his homicide. So, a compromise was made: it was reported he was shot in the torso. Yet reliable sources from retired law enforcement here in Los Angeles say that he was shot in the mouth “execution style.” Current speculation is that this was a drug deal gone bad or — and this is more likely — tied to the abuse of an illegal alien minor whom he was supposed to be “protecting.”‘

It is unknown at this point if his alleged murderer, Carlos Medina, has a lawyer for the scheduled arraignment on Wednesday afternoon next week. He is charged with murder with a special allegation that he used a firearm.

I posted a comment yesterday with Jose Romero’s speculative claims, and those of Lt Michael Modica, about Bishop O’Connell’s killing.

The more I hear about this crime, the more I’m convinced the full story will never emerge. On the contrary, like the assassinations of President John Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr, it will be subject to endless, greedy speculation in public, and in the media.

Expect at least one book on the matter to emerge post-trial, followed by a movie. There may be even a Pulitzer prize for the book’s author.

All the ingredients for a successful (lucrative) Hollywood script are already being gathered: the ritualistic murder of a ‘holy’ man who may have been involved in a satanic cult; his assassin, himself a member of the cult, sent to execute the ‘holy’ man, turned conscientious objector to the cult, from spilling the beans about what went on in it (and what prominent American figures, including senior politicians, were involved), possibly the manipulation of American presidential elections to secure a seat of power for Satan in the White House, and even the ritualistic murder of poor Latino children for all these ends; and last, but not least, the good guy in all this: a Catholic seminarian, Romero’s ‘reliable’ source, who risked his life and his faith by outing the ‘holy’ man for membership of the cult, and sent him on a path of conversion that would lead to his shocking death, and maybe even to martyrdom and sainthood.

Oh, my Aunt Freakin’ Fanny!😩

Silly me. I forgot to add that Carlos Modina may not make it to trial. A ‘suicide’, possibly. Or death by drugs overdose, said substance having been ‘smuggled’ into his prison.

Terenure College, Dublin - Latest on paedophile jail conviction at Carmelite run college.says:

Former Terenure College teacher and rugby coach, John McClean (78) has been described in court as a “monster” and told to “rot in hell” by one of the past pupils whom he sexually assaulted in the 1980s.
McClean is to be sentenced on Friday at Dublin Central Criminal Court after he admitted sexually assaulting 20 boys at the south Dublin school on dates between 1971 and 1992.
McClean is currently serving an 11 year sentence with the final 3 years suspended for abusing 23 Terenure College pupils. The sentence was handed down in 2021.
On Thursday morning, the court heard evidence from several injured parties including one man who joined by video link from the US.
One man now aged 51 said he “wanted to die” while being abused by McClean at the age of 14. He said he went from being a happy child “always with a smile on my face” to becoming so miserable after McClean abused him that he later tried to take his own life.
Another victim, Paul Kennedy now aged 60 described how McClean set about grooming him after Kennedys father was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Paul Kennedy describes Terenure College as being a very safe place for paedophiles. He says there were several we prayed would not chose us to prey on.
As incoming new students he says they were warned by the older boys of who was to be avoided, especially in a confined space.
Paul Kennedy said others in authority had “looked the other way” and said while McClean and others committed “unspeakable acts” the majority of staff had offended “by not speaking up”.
John McClean was “royalty” in school boy rugby say former players.
Survivors and the local community have described this as a very dark hour for the Carmelite run college.
An Garda Siochana is investigating complaints by further alleged victims with a Garda spokeswoman confirming the investigation into McClean is ongoing.
Dave Coleman, Solicitor, of Coleman Legal Partners said the school and the Carmelites could be looking at a €2 million legal bill from the civil cases already lodged. His firm represents one man and has been contacted by others.
David Harrington, Solicitor who grew up just a few hundred yards from the gates of Terenure College and attended the school in the 1990s is now a partner at Harringtons LLP Solicitors who specialise in child abuse cases. Mr Harrington has confirmed that McClean has done irrevocable harm to his victims and to Terenure College and the wider community. His firm represented one of McCleans victims in a civil case against Terenure College and the Carmelite order who run the school. He confirms that the case has been resolved to the benefit of his client.
He confirmed that further legal actions are “coming down the pipeline” now that the criminal case is over. He says the school and the Carmelites should seek to proceed to mediation and settlement at an early stage where possible to avoid putting “extra trauma” on the survivors.
Seven civil cases have been filed so far over abuse by McClean, the majority list the school and religious order as defendants, court records show.
Like a number of religious orders, the Carmelites have sold prime land for development in recent years, including lands attached to Gort Mhuire its student and novitate house in Ballinteer, South Dublin to a developer in 2019 for a reported €35 million.
In rugby circles, John McClean was credited as an influential coach and talent spotter, first identifying the quality of Irish international Brian O’Driscoll when he moved the 17 year old into the centre position in the Leinster schools team.
In October 2017, Brian O’Driscoll credited McClean as the “most influential coach” in his career.
His comments were made before the allegations against McClean surfaced publicly in early 2018. When questioned about Mr O’Driscolls praise of the former coach more recently, an agent said “Brian has no comment at this time”.
University College Dublin and Leinster Rugby state that they have no complaints about John McCleans time with them.

To my obsessed critics,
I am astonished at the amount of time you priests have to devote to this topic. Such fascination with Fr Dunn! WOW! Well, I have done my own research after reading the several challenges to my comment, where I explain that the claim made here about Father Dunn’s father and grandfather, is not true.
Now, after reading a couple of links about a FC and Dunn’s food and drinks or whatever the link was called, I need to offer yet another correction, before asking some questions which spring to my ever-curious mind…
Firstly, I decided to do my own research, me being an Agatha Christie type of gal, and all that jazz. And I found that in neither of the articles posted here (by a blogger whose username escapes me at the moment – probably Anonymous…) is there any mention of Father Dunn’s grandfather or father. DUH.
Fr Dunn’s Grandfather was Dr Joseph Dunn, nowhere mentioned as having any role in Clyde FC or Shawfield Stadium.
Fr Dunn’s father was Dr John Dunn, GP (RIP) who entered medical school in 1951. His father started medical school 3 years after 1948 as mentioned in your article. That’s possibly why you have become so mixed up here.
Questions follow which, try as I might to dispel, and I do, keep returning to my pretty little head.
1) Why the obsession with Father Stephen Dunn? Odd.
2) Why the obsession with his family history? Strange.
3) Why does it bother you that somewhere down the line in his family tree there were successful business enterprises? Jealous?
4) Do you have a good shrink? If not, I can recommend one. Gladly.
5) Do you think that I am going to return over and over again to this ridiculous topic. Gerralife, pal. Soon.
I think we all know the answers to the above questions, so grow up. Immediately if not sooner.

“TONE AT THE TOP” AND THE ABUSE OF POWER IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH
Bonn (Germany)
La Croix International [France]
February 24, 2023
By Jochen Sautermeister
[Via Malaysia Herald]
“A few months ago, a book with an eloquent title was published: Heillose Macht — literally, “Power empty of salvation.” Many priests and laypersons, both Church employees and volunteers, relate here the abuse of power that they have personally suffered in the Catholic Church, which they have experienced “as a place of despotism and humiliation”.
The gulf between rhetoric and reality
“We cannot be indifferent to all these experiences of the abuse of power, because they expose in a terrifying manner toxic, contemptuous behavioural patterns, structures, and dynamics of power that make people ill – and that are still at work in the Church today.” “The Church’s credibility sustains lasting damage. And the gulf between the rhetoric about tackling abuse and the reality people experience contradicts the mandate to spread the gospel. The bishops have a special responsibility here.”
