DID LA ARCHDIOCESE INITIALLY SAY THAT BISHOP O’CONNELL WAS HIT BY A STRAY BULLET COMING THROUGH HIS BEDROOM WALL.

DAVID O’CONNELL

An LA priest has told me that the first statement the archdiocese put out about the murder of DOC said that a stray bullet had come through his bedroom wall and accidentally killed him !!!

The first statement the LA sheriff put out stated that DOC was killed by one gunshot to the upper torso.

CHURCH MILITANT’S former deputy sheriff claims that DOC was killed by 4 gunshot wounds to the back of the head and one gunshot wound to the torso.

Now, someone is claiming that the 4 gunshot wounds were to the front of the head ???

THE BISHOPS HOUSEMATE

In the beginning, we were told that DOC had a “housemate, and the housemate was from Peru.

We were not told whether the housemate was male or female.

Today, people are saying that DOC was sheltering “an illegal immigrant.”

Is that the same person as the Peruvian housemate?

Where is the housemate now?

Are they still on holiday?

Have the police spoken to the housemate?

OVER MONEY

Firstly, the police told us that it was a dispute over money – that DOC owed the murder for work he did that DOC was not happy with.

Now, the district attorney is saying it was not about money ???

What other motive is there. There is always a MOTIVE.

KEYS OR KEY PAD

The police are now saying the killer ket himself in with EITHER keys or a key pad ???

The police have been all over the house for nearly a week and have spoken to the murderer and his wife, DOC’S housekeeper.

We’re keys used.

We’re keys found?

Is there a keypad on any door?

The whole thing sounds very iffy to me!!!

CONCERN

There is legitimate concern out there that a cover-up is taking place – that the archdiocese and police are working together.

This has happened in the past, including in the US.

Where DOC lived is very Hispanic and Catholic.

The sheriff who physically comforted Archbishop Gomez had a Hispanic and Catholic sounding name.

I think it’s very important that the world, the Catholic world, and all of us the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Yep, you’ve hit nail on the head there, + Pat. There is so much confusion, obfuscation, contradictory stuff. There is definitely something being covered up here. All is not as straightforward as they might want to think it is. DOC had secrets. Gay ? Peruvian ? Money ? Drugs ? Something is not right. Well, no surprise there, because all clergy – yes, all clergy ! – have something to hide. They all – yes, all ! – live parallel lives, secret lives, hypocritical lives. It will be the case with DOC as well, and will have contributed to his murder / death.

9:11 – blogger @ 10:41 said nothing of the sort but the constantly changing & contradictory narrative from both the LA Police & the Roman Catholic Church is raising far more new questions whilst the initial ones haven’t been addressed and are in FACT being contradicted and backtracked on by the investigators and church representatives. This housemate of Bishop O Connell alleged to have travelled to Peru shortly before the murder must be located, is he or she dead? – why was she or he living with the Bishop, so many questions and no credible answers to date but you already know that, Father. 😒. Benedictine order admits keeping Brother Jerome Skaja with order despite “multiple” credible accusations of molesting minors.says:

The Chicago Sun Times is reporting that the Benedictine’s long history the fact that Skaja who died in 2016 had been credibly accused of repeatedly sexually abusing a Marmion student in the 1980s. They reached a secret financial settlement with the accuser when he threatened to sue when he turned 18.
In December, the Rev. John Brahill a Marmion leader said the order planned to post its first public list of “established offenders” as the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago has done as have many other Roman Catholic religious orders. The published list includes Brother Jerome Skaja and Rev. Augustine Jones, a twice convicted sex offender who died in 2007.
Brother Jerome Skaja was heavily involved in fund raising for the school and had “multiple” incidents where he was accused of molesting minors in the 1970s and 1980s according to the new list which says the accusations have been deemed to be “true”.
A note posted with the published list states:
“Based upon the facts and the circumstances there is objective certainty that the accusation is true and that an incident of sexual abuse of a minor has occurred. The names on the list are based on a process of consultation with an independent review board and is not a legal judgement.
The identity of the independent review board members has not been made publicly available raising serious questions.
A mother of one of the teenagers confirms that she was treated as “a hysterical woman” by the Abbot in charge when she went to see him.
No records could be found to indicate The Rev Vincent Bataille ever notified police although Illinois law requires school officials to report suspected child abuse.

Gomez and the LA Latinos are playing the “Santo subito” strategy by inundating the airwaves with stories of how wonderful DOC was as a man and a bishop. I’m always wary when people are prepared to accept such a monotone and partial interpretation of anyone or anything. I think we will have to wait until the trial and we can follow the evidence in detail and then come to a fuller understanding of what happened, and what led up to his alleged murder. In the meantime I am skeptical and questioning of what I am being told about him, based mostly on my experience of clergy and being told how wonderful they are and then finding out some time later that there was a foundation as deep as a cesspit to their real lives.

Nate Lindstroms death by suicide - secret payouts - Norbertine Order - no charges filed against 3 Norbertine priests Lindstrom accused of abusing himsays:

Nate Lindstrom told his family he’d been molested beginning the summer before his freshman year of high school in Green Bay, Wisconsin by Norbertine priests including the Rev. James W Stein, then a charismatic young cleric who later ministered in Chicago.
Believing their sons worsening mental health was the result of having been sexually abused, Mary and David L Lindstrom met with Abbot Gary Neville and asked for financial help.
Abbot Neville did not acknowledge any wrongdoing by his clerics but agreed the Order would start sending $3,500 per month to Nate Lindstrom and would also help pay for his therapy and medication according to his family and friends who provided letters and other records documenting the arrangement.
The payments were unusual, they didn’t come in response to a lawsuit or any settlement and were, in effect, secret.
A decade later, a new abbot in charge stopped the payments. He said there was no basis for the sex abuse accusations against two of the three Norbertine priests Nate Lindstrom had named.
The Norbertine Order didn’t address the third priest, the Rev. James W Stein whom Nate Lindstrom had named as the third abuser. Rev Stein eventually left the Norbertines.
On March 20, 2020, not long after the Norbertines halted the payments, Nate Lindstrom who was self employed and had been in regular therapy whilst the payments for this therapy were coming from the Norbertines, shot and killed himself in the suburban Minneapolis home where he lived with his wife and their 3 young children. He was 45 years old.
Amid their grieving, Nate Lindstroms family, friends and other supporters organized protests against the Norbertine Order, they paid to put up “I believe Nate” billboards, called for the new abbot, Rev Dane Radecki, to resign and urged Josh Kaul, Wisconsins attorney general to investigate how Catholic orders and diocese in that State deal with complaints about sexual abuse of children by clerics – an investigation Nate Lindstrom had also pushed for before his death by suicide. His family, friends and supporters provided evidence of the “hardball tactics” from the Order toward Nate and the lack of compassion.
In trying to negotiate new terms with the new Abbot, the victim wrote that the abuse resulted in fear, anxiety, flashbacks, unwanted thoughts.
More recently the Rev Stein has been working as a dish washer in a Milwaukee area restaurant.
Attorney General Josh Kaul confirmed that the investigation requested by Nate Lindstroms family, friends and supporters would go ahead.

Irish Christian Brothers fall short on revealing true extent of sexual abuse by its memberssays:

Brother Ronald LASIK was accused in 2013 of molesting two students years earlier at St Laurence High School in Burbank. From 1954 to 1957, LASIK served at the Mount Cashel orphanage in Canada where he was convicted of sexually abusing multiple boys and sentenced to more than 10 years in prison. He served less than half that before being freed and deported to the United States.
Deluged with child sexual abuse abuse lawsuits, the Irish Christian Brothers filed for bankruptcy in 2011.
There is a public list in accordance with the Court required Settlement Agreement listing the names of current, former and deceased Brothers of The Edmund Rice Christian Brothers North America Province who were identified in at least two (2) sexual abuse claims filed as proofs of claim in the bankruptcy matter.
Lawyer Mark McKenna who has sued the Irish Christian Brothers on behalf of clients has strongly criticised “the culture of transfer of accused priests from school to school and from city to city”. Many complaints were not passed onto police by the Irish Christian Brothers and a high number are not on the published list because it only contains names where at least 2 reports were made.
Michael Pfau, a Seattle lawyer who represented the plaintiffs in the Washington case has sued the Order repeatedly over other sexual abuse allegations describes the Irish Christian Brothers as “among the worst of the religious orders in terms of abuse of children – including physical abuse as well as sexual abuse, the lawyer says some Irish Christian Brothers carried leather straps to beat children and burned them with cigarettes in efforts to frighten the children into allowing themselves to be raped.
Canadian lawyer, Geoff Budden has listed the Irish Christian Brothers @at the top of the list of the most prolific and savage sex abusers”.

Cross Dressing, Prostitution & Murder?
The San Francisco Chronicle wrote “a man on his own often gets invited back to camps by gay Bohemians.” Annals over 100 years old have also chronicled some of the sexual activities performed on the camp grounds.
It is particularly difficult to ascertain the current legitimacy of these claims because the Grove has routinely positioned itself outside of any jurisdiction and managed to evade local and state investigations repeatedly. According to one of these male prostitutes, secret locations such as the UNDERGROUND lounge (spelled U.N.derground), a Leather Room, Dark Room and Necrophilia Room are hidden on the grounds.
Beginning in the mid 1980s there were rumors of murder in remote parts of the property. These rumors are most likely related to male prostitutes who expressed “fear for their lives.” Again, the legitimacy of prostitution and murder claims at the Grove (or even the witness accounts) is nearly impossible to prove because investigation of the club is blocked under the 1947 National Security Act.
Cross dressing however, is a common practice. Some photographs have been released that show men dressed in women’s clothing. Some believe this is simply a childish “college-like” behavior of drunken men having a good time. Others believe some of the cross-dressing practices are related to worship of the Moloch god (who in some cultures represented a female entity).

Archbishop Eamonn Martin is too too young, (DOB 30th October 1961), and his time will come, to be A cardinal when Archbishop Dermot Farrell (DOB 22nd November 1954) reaches 80 years of age in 2034.

Have the Los Angeles police confirmed that they’ve found and spoken to Bishop O’Connells absent lodger?

Well! The huggy feely Latino Chief of Police had better bite the bullet and cough up the missing lodger from Bishops house, the public want “answers”.

The new Nuncio’s title isn’t important; it’s the Archbishop of Armagh and Archbishop of Dublin’s titles of Primate of All Ireland and Primate of Ireland respectively all over again. Playing to the gallery. For many in the international political community, ‘Ireland’ or ‘Eire’ is 26 counties.
