Letter to Paddy Walsh last October, 2022, to which, yes, guess what? That’s right! Not a peep out of him in response!

October 18th, 2022 – Feast of St Luke, Evangelist.

Bishop Paddy,

It was ten years last February 10th, since the former priest of this diocese, James Donaghy was jailed for ten years for offences against me and two others.

He later received a two year ifession.

Since February of this year, my trauma has been reawakened and I began to relive Donaghy’s abuse of me when I was a young seminarian.

I have also had to revisit your involvement from the beginning, reviewing correspondence with you, and records of meetings I had with you. There are some things I now need to say to you.

On October 14th, 2003, I met you at Lisbreen in the afternoon and you read out to me a handwritten letter, dated October 13th, 2003.

In that letter you stated the following:

“I unreservedly accept the good faith in which your allegations against Fr Donaghy are made. Equally I have no reason to doubt the good faith of Fr Donaghy’s denials”.

You said you had no reason to doubt Donaghy’s denials. Really?

You sent the late Fr Malachy Murphy RIP to St Ann’s Parish, North Oxford, MA, USA, on July 7th, 2003, to “take evidence”. When he arrived, he said the following to me:

“Jim won’t survive this. There have been other problems with him”.

And yet you said you had “no reason to doubt the good faith of Fr Donaghy’s denials”.

In August, I had a long overdue meeting with “Victim B” – the lad I was so worried about in May 2001 – when I asked Fr Hugh Starkey RIP to tell you about what Donaghy did to me, when I was seminarian.

Victim B and I hadn’t seen each other since the conclusion of the trial. Victim B told me the following:

“Sometime in the late 90s, JD came to our house, and he was upset and crying when he arrived. My mother asked him what was wrong, and he said, “I’ve been accused of sexual abuse”. I asked him, straight out, “did you do it?” My mother angrily shouted at me, “how dare you ask Fr Jim such a question! Of course he didn’t do it!”.

Bear in mind, Victim B was being sexually abused at this time, by JD, who was later found guilty of his crimes against this boy, myself and another young lad, on December 14th, 2011. Victim B was 14 years old, an altar boy in Whitehouse Parish, when Donaghy first began to sexually abuse him.

Malachy’s comment in MA, USA, and this confirmation by Victim B, proves that you had previous knowledge of Donaghy’s deviancy and sexual predation.

So you were lying and disingenuous when you said you had “no reason to doubt the good faith of Fr Donaghy’s denials”.

You had EVERY reason to doubt his denials but you chose not to doubt the so-called “good faith” of a man who was guilty as sin.

When you stepped Donaghy aside from ministry, in March 2004, it was on the “other problems” that you already had on file – not mine or Victim B’s complaints.

Your underhandedness, your duplicity, your selfishness, dishonesty and lack of morality, even now, is staggering to me.

I want you to look at the enclosed photograph. That was me back then. That’s the young man at the heart of all this, who was subjected to brutal rapes and serious sexual assaults on numerous occasions 1983 – 1986, when he was home, in the diocese, on holiday from the seminary.

That’s the kid you would later betray, with your lies and cover up, your wicked and malicious conniving, with Gemma Loughran.

It wasn’t “horseplay” as you said in your letter to me of October 13th, 2003. It was the worst form of physical and sexual abuse of an innocent, good, pure, trusting and deeply devout young seminarian.

The kid in that picture is me when Donaghy was abusing me. It was taken for a student card. That is me as a young seminarian, who was held down by him and overpowered, stripped of my clothes, and horrendously violated by Donaghy, on numerous occasions.

In your letter of October 13th, 2003, you minimised the many crimes committed against me. It wasn’t “horseplay”. I didn’t “share a bed” with him. It was rape, Paddy!

It happened in St Michael’s Presbytery, Finaghy Rd Nth and in Corpus Christi, the old presbytery now demolished.

He would come to my house in Whiteabbey and take over. He would say to me, “you’re coming with me”. I was terrified and knew what was coming.

He would be rude to my father in our own home. He told my mother’s cousin, Lena, that I was “his student”, that the bishop (Cahal Daly) had “given me to him”. That “every priest is given a student by the bishop and Paddy is mine”.

You know what some of the media have dubbed Donaghy? “Fr Filth”. It fits him very well. I really had nowhere to turn. He was a priest and I wasn’t. I would have been the one in trouble. Who would have believed me?

Fr Filth, naked and with his penis erect, would come to the bed I was in, pull down the covers and get in on top of me. I would be pretending to sleep but it made no difference to Donaghy.

He would turn me over onto my stomach, pull down my pyjamas bottoms and trunks, stick his DICK against me and hump me like a piece of meat until he ejaculated.

The lad that I was fought back, as best I could, but I was about 8 stone and Donaghy was twice my size.

There are incidents though my mind can’t access. What I can access is horrendous enough. I now know that trauma shuts down the mind. The mind short circuits itself to protect you from sheer horror.

With “Fr Filth” on top of me, I couldn’t breath and thought I was suffocating. When Fr Filth had gratified himself, he would roll over and go to sleep beside an absolutely terrified and horrified young man. I went into deep shock and I suffered for years and years.

The man who did these things to me, who did the same things to others, who was found guilty of these crimes and sentenced to 10 years in jail, is the man you promoted in the diocese, entrusting him with important tasks like the Jubilee 2000 events. He was nicknamed “Jubilee Jim”.

Not a very good judge of character, are you, Paddy? And you had “no reason to doubt his “clear and emphatic denials”? You betrayed me horribly, as a priest of the diocese injured by this pervert, and you lied to me left, right and centre.

There is another related matter. You were also lying to me when you said to me, on April 1st, 2003, that Hugh Starkey hadn’t told you about Donaghy abusing me when I asked Hugh to do so, in May 2001.

I wrote to you on February 17th, 2003, when I was down in Wexford, off sick on the orders of my doctor. I wrote a long and detailed handwritten letter, sent by registered post, which you received on February 19th, 2003.

In that letter, I clearly told you that I had been sexually abused as a child and that I “also need healing from sexual abuse perpetrated against me by Fr James Donaghy when I was a young seminarian”.

I added, “I asked Hugh Starkey to tell you about this in May 2001, so I presume you know what I’m talking about”. So, even if Hugh Starkey hadn’t told you two years previously, I was telling you then, on February 17th, 2003.

What did you do? Nothing. You didn’t even acknowledge my letter. You rang me one day after you would have received my  17th February letter. I needed “permission” to go to Massachusetts to work with Dr George Bilotta.

You made me feel like a beggar because Dr George Bilotta’s fees were $10,500 a month.
You said to me, in a most condescending way, “it’s frightfully expensive, Pat”.

A leopard and it’s spots and all that. So sad. What a pathetic creature you are, Paddy Walsh.

Yours sincerely,

You already had complaints, apart from my “allegations”, when you wrote that self-serving lie, in that letter written by your solicitor in 2003, which you read to me nervously, your hands shaking, because, deep down, you knew you were lying, that you were in connivance with, and covering up, evil.

My “allegations” were later believed by a jury in a court of law and your friend, “Fr Filth” Donaghy, was sentenced to 10 years for his crimes, including the offences about which you already knew, long before 2001.

With this letter, I return to you all your horrible and poisonous junk all down through the years.

I visit Sr X, Fr X and Fr X in Nazareth Care Village. I was there last week. I saw you in the distance and I thought about doing this face to face. I decided it would be kinder, to us both, to do it by letter.

I don’t really need anything from you anymore, although, in relation to these matters, you, for once, being truthful, honest and asking for my forgiveness, might save your own immortal soul. But that’s all down to you, Paddy.

By the way, Paddy, see wee Sr  X? You leave her alone. She doesn’t want you in her room. You are bullying, intimidating, frightening and upsetting her. Leave her alone and stop harassing her.

You haven’t changed. Terrorising a very frail and saintly little Carmelite sister, just like you did teenage boys years ago, in St Malachy’s College.

You embarrassed me and you made me feel that I should be very grateful to you for “allowing” me to go to the USA and for the diocese’s funding.

How dare you. It was my due. It was owed big time, and more besides, to the kid I was, who was raped and traumatised by Fr Filth Donaghy. How dare you make me feel like a beggar or in any way beholden to you.

When you were on the phone, making me feel “cap in hand” to your “generosity”, I was stunned that you never mentioned my letter of February 17th and Donaghy’s abuse.

You never mentioned it at all until I finally forced the issue because, I thought, “there’s something here that the bishop isn’t getting”.

So in the early hours of April 1st, 2003, I emailed you the letter of confrontation that I had sent to Donaghy, so that you would finally “get the picture”.

That’s the letter you were holding when you walked into the 17:45 meeting, on April 1st, 2003, lying through your teeth that you “knew nothing about all this”, that it was all “news” to you, and that Hugh Starkey hadn’t told you.

I know that Hugh Starkey told you, in May 2001, about my abuse by Donaghy and that Hugh took the blame for your inaction and your ignoring of my plight and suffering. I am certain that he told you.

Even if Hugh hadn’t told you, you had already known, since mid February 2003, about Donaghy. It was now 1stApril. What had you done? NOTHING.

Can you not just tell the truth, Paddy, before you leave this earth to stand before the Great and Terrible Judge?

The Detective Inspector (DI) dealing with the Donaghy case, in the run up to the trial, rang Hugh Starkey (HS). Here is the verbatim account she relayed to me afterwards:

DI – “Fr Starkey, did Fr Paddy McCafferty tell you that he had been sexually abused by James Donaghy when he was a young seminarian?”

HS – “yes, Paddy told me that”.

DI – “did Paddy ask you to tell Bishop Walsh?”

HS – “yes, Paddy told me to tell Bishop Walsh”.

DI – “Did you tell the Bishop”

HS – “Yes, I told the Bishop”

DI – “so how come I have a letter here, from you to Paddy in 2004, asking him to forgive you for not telling the Bishop?”

HS – “Oh no, that’s right, I didn’t tell the Bishop”.

DI – “Fr Starkey, which is it? Did you tell the Bishop or not?

HS – “I told the Bishop but the Bishop forgot that I told him”.

The bishop forgot that I told him? You don’t forget stuff like that, Paddy. You were clearly lying, therefore, when you said to me, when we met in Lisbreen, at 17:45, on April 1st, 2003, “I knew nothing about all this. This is all news to me”.

I knew you were lying. Hugh told me that he had told you. Hugh is not a liar; but you are. Hugh was a true and good priest.

Your cruel abuse of the boys at St Malachy’s College should have precluded you from becoming a bishop. Today, anyone acting as you did back then (1970 – 1983) would be taken away in handcuffs.

I faced you with your own behaviour in St Malachy’s College in a separate document in 2003. You were in denial then and you are in denial now, despite the fact that there would be a queue, from Nazareth Care Village to St Malachy’s College on the Antrim Road, of those willing to testify to your viciousness, cruelty and brutality.

Hugh told me that he told you. He said, “the bishop said you’re not to worry, you did the right thing. It puts him in a bit of an awkward position with Fr Jim, but you are not to worry. It will all be looked into”.

Hugh said all that to me straight off. He didn’t hesitate the way someone would do if they had to make something up on the spot. You did nothing and you persuaded Hugh to take the blame for your negligence, in April, 2003.

You gave James Donaghy a very high profile among the priests of this diocese. You wanted to protect him at all costs. This predator, to whom you gave “preferment”, raped and sexually assaulted young lads like me.

He violated a seven year old boy during his First Confession, whose Grandfather had just died – a bereaved child – whom he told, “I will get your Granda into Heaven and out of Purgatory if you let me do this”.

Furthermore, in view of all of this, you sent me to Lisburn, in the clerical changes of summer 2002. This was, on your part towards me, a deliberately cruel, malicious and vindictive act, knowing full well that it was Donaghy’s hometown and that his family all lived there. I was raped by him there twice in 1983, on the night before his ordination and a few weeks later.

You sent me to Lisburn to “punish” me for speaking out about child sexual abuse in the Church and you thought your friend would be able to “clip my wings” and keep me in check.

You were wrong. X did not manage to keep me quiet and your sending me to Lisburn massively backfired on you. It was a spectacular own goal.

The first thing X said to me was, “maybe you will knock all this child abuse stuff on the head and give us all a rest”. I didn’t answer him but I thought, “Just you watch me, X”.

It didn’t work. Your sending me to Lisburn, your deliberate cruelty to me, came down on your own head and it leads to this letter I am writing to you now.

It was while in Lisburn that I called for Cardinal Connell’s resignation in the wake of Cardinal Law’s resignation in Boston ( 13th December, 2002) and the rest, Paddy, as they say, is history.

I have all our correspondence and I have read over it all. You are a serpentine and inveterate liar. You are a manipulator and twister of the truth. You are a sociopath and a narcissist, a deeply ingrained self-serving and selfish man. Dealing with you was horrendous.

Your close personal friend, Gemma Loughran, attempted to influence the outcome of a criminal trial and pervert the course of justice, by failing to declare a conflict of interest, in trying to sit in judgement on Donaghy’s original trial (January 24th– 31st, 2011).

You were the conflict of interest. What she did was shocking. The arrogance and denseness she displayed in the court. The transcript is available on the internet. Her behaviour was appalling.

She was at her work but she was exposed and she had to recuse herself. She probably did this as a “favour” to you and “the Church”. You and her are both enemies of the Church, with your attempts to cover up, for perverts and degenerates, like Donaghy.

See that young lad in the photograph? His heart was broken. For years and years, his sufferings were unbearable. He wanted to die. He cut himself. He threw up almost everything he ate. He couldn’t sleep. He had panic attacks and night terrors. He suffered serious depression and anxiety and was on medication for same since his late 20s.

I was diagnosed with PTSD after Donaghy was jailed. I had that condition for years and years. The lad in the photo, I’m speaking on his behalf. That good and innocent young seminarian is saying to you, “tell the truth, Paddy Walsh, and shame the devil”.

The Gospel this weekend was about the corrupt judge (Luke 18:1-9). Gemma Loughran tried, unsuccessfully, to pervert the course of justice. She was rumbled.

Just to sum up: you had “no reason to doubt Fr Donaghy’s clear denials”? You are a lying rat. How do you live with yourself?

But you know something else, Paddy? He never missed a beat as a priest of Down and Connor and he is greatly loved and he loves greatly. He kept going.

The kid that I was, being brutally sexually assaulted and raped, by “Jubilee Jim”, was a very brave lad and I am super proud of him, and the man and priest he became, and is today.

By the way, Paddy, see wee Sr  X? You leave her alone. She doesn’t want you in her room. You are bullying, intimidating, frightening and upsetting her. Leave her alone and stop harassing her.

Fr Paddy McCafferty.

Paddy Mc Cafferty is a VERY HURT and VERY ANGRY man.

I think his anger is a JUSTIFIED ANGER.

I think his HURT runs very deep and has damaged and is damaging him very greatly.

His letter to Walsh shows the depth of his pain.

And let’s not beat around the Bush. Walsh was and is one evil bastard.

Why is NAZARETH HOUSE CARE VILLAGE allowing Walsh to abuse the poor old retired Carmelite nun?

Yes, Paddy is a hurt man Pat. He is dealing though with has beens. Even Noel has gone of the stage. When you see Paddy Mc ask him why he made a huge song and dance about not going to see Pope Francis in Dublin but went to meet him in the end.

Why don’t you ask Paddy McCafferty yourself face to face you spineless asshole excuse for a priest. Because you are a sneaky cozy arse, that’s why.

You surely don’t expect the clerics to break the habit perfected over centuries in the middle of a cost of living crisis.
Don’t forget clerics didn’t die of hunger during the Irish Potato Famine.

So. What about the inheritance that Jubilee Jim got from two old dears? A house worth a few hundred thousand. Where is he now? And Johnny McCallum? Another Wexford priest? John Fortune, another Wexford priest. These country ditch seminary’s are no different to Maynooth. Though probably ahead of Maynooth. Oh and Kilkenny. Hollywood’s pp attended there 🤫🧐🤭 But these establishments didn’t ask for much in education by way of entry. Heyho

They are ALL paedophile enablers, don’t forget the financial and related PR essential to facilitate income streams is the priority in the Roman Catholic Church.

The Irish Roman Catholic Church must be the richest and most successful paedophile protecting and people trafficking organisation in the world.

It’s very clear that the abuse inflicted on Fr. McCafferty was horrendous. Evil and sadistic. The abuse as outlined is very frightening, especially when it was known that Donahgy was an abuser. It is unforgiveable that Bishop Walsh did not take the evidence seriously or responsibly enough. Had he done so much suffering could have been avoided. The Bishop is now in old age, probably incommunicable, and will therefore be unable to bring any healing to Fr. Pat. The story is very painful, the life long effects can be unstoppable. I hope for Fr. Pat and others it’s not too late for the finding of some healing. It’s not easy to tell your story repeatedly: some will believe, others will become indifferent but we must walk with and believe the stories of victims till true justice is found for them and until healing is gained. I hope Fr. Pat McCafferty will not be abused by some commentators as has happened too often simply because he holds extreme views. He deserves kindness NOW. And when you’ve been through therapy for some time, that too becomes difficult. God bless you Fr. McCafferty.

9:56 it seems that you are attempting to use this blog to access and to incite already extremely vulnerable victims of church related abuse into breaking the law. You must be desperate!

No donal inciting noone to do anything. Javing read the horrendous accounts on here and the lack of justice over the ages i thi k its a very valid thing to ponder on. Agreed, it’ll do for their day – a consistent pattern revealing ongoing conflicted interests.

2 wrongs don’t make a right
No one should be too proud to carry responsibility for instigating criminality.
Gaslighting victims is the modus operandi of the powerful.
Paddy McCafferty has been maliciously victimised by these bastardos who are sniggering away behind the Iron Curtain of the abusive Roman Catholic Mafia.

Holding someone to.account for their actual actions or words regardless of age is hardly harassment. Its called consequences and accountability. Not that anyone would expect a cathbot to get that

Thats right: raise that old chestnut, “cathbot”, rather than engage with the point the commenter made.

Bishop Walsh is a very old and ailing man. Why can’t McCafferty forgive? Move on with his life and cease this relentless harassment of Bishop Walsh? It IS elder abuse, and McCafferty should be ashamed of himself. He preaches about forgiveness, no doubt, and yet, he himself stokes inside himself the fires of fury, resentment, and even hatred; he is not modelling himself on Christ, who forgave his tormentors even when he writhed on the cross.

For shame, Fr McCafferty. For shame!

Oh i would say i engaged very directly with the point. As they say i can explain it to you but i cant umderstand ot for you. Same as that 90 odd year old nazi hag who was dragged into court. These kind of crimes should ALWAYS come a calling no matter when or where. That he should yhink he can escape it as they all do havi g evaded it for so long is the real shame. And shame on u with ur confected forgiveness for that non repentant sadist. Cathbot ! Again i say cathbot as You go chasing after the victim was utterly wrecked calling shame upon them?! What genre of sociopath are ye priest?!

Agreed, clerics and their self entitled pals spend years being protected by Bishops and their well connected networks and then plead age and or health issues to validate escaping justice.
Catlicks and their types conveniently ignore the legal age of consent when raping kids.
Same old, same old.

Despite Walsh, Donaghy and their hangers on being “more than relieved to know that no prosecution will take place”, he was kept out of ministry.
In 2006, the diocese received a complaint that Donaghy had repeatedly sexually abused a seven year old boy.
Read all about that here:
This would seem to explain Walsh not returning him to public ministry, despite his desperate attempts to keep him in his positions in 2003 and 2004.
Walsh had complaints against Fr Filth since the late 90s and yet, when I complained I was told in 2003 that it “is your word against Fr Donaghy’s word”.
In 2006, Walsh was made aware of a seven year old boy’s abuse by his friend Donaghy. In 2011, when I and Victim B came before the courts seeking justice, Walsh’s big pal, Gemma Loughran, was the sitting judge.

Judge Gemma Loughran failed to declare her friend Walsh as a conflict of interest. She severed our cases against police and PPS advice and gave no explanation. She imposed a blackout on the media reporting.
Loughran was rumbled by the Chief Prosecutor and forced to step aside from Donaghy’s trial when he discovered her close ties with Walsh. This was a wilful attempt, by Loughran, to pervert the course of justice.
There needs to be a public inquiry into Loughran. What she attempted was an act of pure evil. Walsh also needs to be scrutinised. He knew about Donaghy since the late 90s and did nothing.

Judge Gemma Loughran is also a very interesting connection to the case of convicted priest, Terence Rafferty, who received a community service order for sexually abusing a minor in 2013. Many were disgusted at the sentence handed down to this vile individual.

Finnegan at St Colmans Newry. His abuse of boarding pupils and others in the community, was over many years. Is it reasonable to think he believed in God and the tenets of Catholicism, yet continued the abuse over many years?

Anon@ 12.34: No, it is NOT reasonable.
I’ve made similar comments previously, but put more as a statement than a question. I firmly believe that a significant proportion of practising RC clerics, whatever their original altruistic seminarian God centered beliefs may have been, no longer believe in the mish mash codology that is God or Jesus centered religion. Many remain “in practice” for a mixture of its benefits and a lack of viable alternatives, particularly financial.
With a significant proportion of “non believing clerics” straitjacketed into a supposedly celibate institutional farrago AKA the RCC, it’s hardly surprising to find that it harbours a high level of abusive behaviour. Nor to find that its hierarchy, just like other organisations, see it as their priority to protect the institution.
It’s not just the RCC. Today’s Guardian online reports of massive abuse in another one of those USA churches. And as others have said: watch when clerical abuse begins to unravel in Africa and S. America.

Shocking, in the context of elder abuse. This social worker deals with vulnerable adults and the useless regulator is powerless to stop him. No doubt MMM has an excuse, sorry explanation, to hand.

Walsh KNEW that Donaghy had been accused (credibly?) of sexually abusing a 7-year-old child when that collective sigh of relief by McManus was made public? If he did, wasn’t his support of Donaghy at the time all the more questionable?

The screaming hypocrisy of a public vow of celibacy whilst being actively and promiscuously homosexual is rife throughout the Roman Catholic Church.
They have executed their own death warrant. All of their issues are of their own making but it’s easier for the catlicks to blame the whistleblowers, victims and survivors. 😒

~ Chronicle of a judge stepping aside from a case ~
~ By Chris Moore, 11 June 2012 ~
”COURT transcripts obtained by The Detail reveal that a Crown Court judge stepped aside last year during the trial of a sex abusing priest when the prosecution raised concerns about her admitted friendship with Patrick Walsh, a former Bishop of Down & Connor, who was a potential witness.”
”But during two days of courtroom drama – Friday, January 28 and Monday, January 31, 2011 – Judge Loughran refused to step aside over prosecution concerns that there may have been a conflict of interest due to her friendship with retired Bishop Patrick Walsh.” End.

When you have fought so hard to get back on your feet, don’t ever go back to the people who knocked you down.

+ Walsh did awful things in his time, and I have no doubt that he is reflecting on that and it is causing him some considerable grief as he realises what he. has done. As these kinds of men get older they have time to reflect and so often they are tormented about what they have done. Dan Leonard VG of Birmingham, who was in many ways a good man and a gentleman, was instrumental in some very questionable decisions by Birmingham in relation to abusing priests. He spent his last years in the Little Sisters, tormented, very unhappy, and verging on the suicidal, constantly fearing that the police would be calling for him. It is a reminder to us all to be very careful in how we live our lives and the decisions we make. Because these things will come back to visit us as we age.

Narcissists and sociopaths like psychopaths have NO empathy. None, nada, zilch. Their disorder acts as a defence mechanism which is why they always truly believe they have done and could do no wrong. They believe 100% their distorted versions of reality. Thi k of harrys wife and the “recollections may vary”. These people have a very limited emotional range. They do not self reflect and their victims are only of relevance to them in and of the moment. I really wish narcissism as a disorder was more widely understood. Think of the current woke and how many of these creatures use the facade of goodness to dupe and manipulate so many. This old husk of a control freak no doubt doesnt even believe in a god. But control and power – well.look over his career and I think we can clearly see he got himself plenty of that.

It is horrifying all this cruel action done by the cover up of bishops and the powers that be.
In todays readings it says that what is hidden will come to light.
Is it time to have a serious discussion about sexuality in people who were and are attracted to the priest hood. The gay sexuality where when men felt safe to be a priest and meet other men of similar sexualty and where they were and are popular with the congrgation. The paedophile sexuality is scary because instead of seeking therapy for this awful sexuality they were drawn to tje priest hood and by using thier intelligence confident natue and love of power gained trust to wreck havoc with the young.
Is this why women were and are kept out of priest hood because so much is covered up with clergy sexuality

Fr Pat Collins, a priest of the Vincentian order and renowned exorcist says that Ireland needs special teams to fight evil spirits.
Fr Collins told The Irish Catholic Newspaper that the demand for the practice “is much higher than the supply” despite the fact that several Irish bishops have been “responding quietly but positively” to the matter.
Fr Pat Collins and the Irish Bishops can start with their own abusers and colleagues and volunteers in the Vincentian Order and throughout the Island of Ireland.

I wonder how many bishops and retired bishops continue to quietly cover up abuse. And how many priests and religious are complicit in cover ups through their silence…

Al of them, that was the company policy of the Roman Catholic church until just a few years ago. No wonder the “saint” of paedophiles and, their Roman Catholic complicit Bishop enablers, J.P2 is being investigated for his covering up for Polish Roman Catholic sexual predator priests.
Francis likewise, when in Argentina, and he continues to try to do same even now, in the Vatican, the recent Zancheeta case exemplifies his deceit.
Vos estis lux mundi, brazenly of course! It does not apply to the Vicar of Rome.
“Do as I say, not as I do”

LOL you have to laugh when they talk about evil spirits and turn a blind eye to the clergy as the correct target they should be fighting.

Agreed, Tom Deenihan and his colleagues have some front in protecting and financing abusers whilst slandering, libelling and persecuting whistleblower clergy such as Dom Benedict Andersen in the ongoing and worsening Silverstream Priory scandal featured yesterday on this blog as well as the various proactive persecutions, harrassment and intimidating conduct being executed elsewhere by them and their extensive teams of self interested cover up merchants.

The only people Fr Collins and his colleagues are interested in exorcising are the thousands of victims and survivors the Irish Roman Catholic Church has been repeatedly reabusing for decades by deliberately obstructing and perverting the course of justice.

No doubt they won’t hesitate to accept a big brown envelope from any catlick mug dumb enough to fail to recognise that they are paying the devil himself when they allow these wolves in sheep’s clothing into their lives.

Spanish Bishop Xavier Novell, 52, announced he was stepping down from his post as Bishop of Solsona in Catalonia for “strictly personal reasons”.
It later emerged he was with Silvia Caballol, a divorced mother of two who writes Satanic-tinged erotic fiction.
The respected right wing Spanish daily ABC reported the ex Bishop had found work with Semen Cardona that provides doses of semen for artificial insemination of swine.
ABC reports that “the former Bishop will work masturbating the pigs that are at Semen Cardonas HQ in Cardona in the province of Barcelona”.
Leading Spanish-language religious news website Religion Digital said it had independently confirmed ABC’s “exclusive on the former Bishop” describing it as a total life change for Xavier Novell now dedicated to the extraction of sperm from the best pigs in the region.
The job revelation follows close on the heels that the former Bishops lover is expecting twins. Novell is believed to have meet the trained psychologist who has studied sexology, yoga, Catholicism and Islam after Novell began studying demonology.

Fair play to the Spanish Bishop.

At least he’s had the balls to leave RCC and has become his authentic self and is not terrorising the public & not wanking himself in public places in Ireland like Bishop Fintan Monahans pal, Fr Jerry Carey. No wonder Bishop Monahan has Abbot Rawhide Richard Purcell publicly endorsing his publications.

‘Respcted’ and ‘right wing’ in the same sentence? You’ve nailed your colours to the mast.

A middle aged man shouted “This is not the Church of God” before being removed by Vatican police.

The Irishman who lives in Rome was at the back of the audience hall and was handed over to Roman police as us customary since Vatican City is a sovereign state within the Italian capital.

Pope Francis responded by praying for this Irish man. He said “let’s not be deaf to the needs of this brother”.

Indeed, he spotted Pope Francis aka Fraudulent Frankie and all they’d done came right back to him right there on the spot in the Vatican.

If Fr Paddy had been kinder to my mother before she died, I would have a lot more sympathy for him- but he hurt us by his nasty behaviour and we didn’t let him do her funeral

Michael Duignan, Bishop of Galway & Clonfert (2 Diocese recently merged) has confirmed that the current structures in which the Roman Catholic Church operates have become “unsustainable”.

EVERY Diocese and Religious Order on the island of Ireland needs to be investigated.
Safeguarding MUST be completely independent of the RCC.

I think it is very unfair to call Paddy an imbecile.

He has suffered a lot and is the victim of his suffering as well as a victim of Donaghy

Fr Donaghy dubbed Fr Filth by the media is the root cause in this issue.
Another clear example of the widespread damage and consequences of aiding and abetting criminality.
Paddy McCafferty is undergoing immeasurable long term suffering and is very fortunate to have Independent Bishop Patrick Buckley to help him when the toxic Roman Catholic Mafia have yet again left others to clean up their mess.
A bunch of shameless parasites in the RCC.

10:45 is your living proof of “The Authentic Voice of the Compassionate Roman Catholic Church”!

Priest to Victim:

“F*** Off & Disappear” and

“give us a donation before you leave & quit feeling sorry for yourself and don’t return to be bending our ears”.

“No wonder us poor priests are driven to the saunas and the boiler houses”

God pity and have mercy on past and present VGs of Birmingham – Dan Leonard set the bar and they are all in his image and likeness.
Show me a Birmingham VG and I’ll show you a holder of deep, dark secrets and a company loyalty such that he’d sell his own mother for the master he served.
Birmingham has it all – child abuse (the best in the business), gay and practicing clergy and an Archbishop with his live in boyfriend!!

Paddy Walsh begrudged the financial cost to the diocese of providing counselling to Fr McCafferty Frightfully expensive, he said. Just as well for Paddy Walsh that the diocese doesn’t take the same begrudging approach to his frightfully expensive care home fees.

Anybody any news about the Cardinal / Bishop face off between Elsie and CockRoche in Rome ? Vin is there for quite a bit of time, and surely they will have met ? I reckon that Elsie has been asked to stay a year or two more, so that Roche can do his hatchet job in the liturgy office, and then Roche will move to Westminster. Vincent will have had to say yes through clenched teeth with a fixed rictus smile. Inside he will be seething. Oh, how all ecclesiastical careers end in disappointment….. ! Just saying…..

Hello Pat. Do you know if there is anyone equivalent to yourself, clergy, whistleblowing, investigating the church in U.K.? If you do please send me link / other info to his/ her/ their blog.
RCDHN web site & Parishes, this week have been given a link to the survey CSSA has put out. A pp said priests are being given a different questionnaire.
It looks like a ticky box exercise to me & no doubt others. This church is thoroughly evil and we have all been sucked into that. The dioceses detest we who dare to challenge and question. Who are doing our best to stay using our Gifts and talents for each other. To use such gifts and talents for clergy is a waste of Christ’s Grace. Thank heavens many have left ax the World but in our parishes we have not wanted to believe evil, abuse, rape, assault, sending faithful to take their lives is also here. On our own doorstep. It remains painful to know but fruitful to know.
I will never give money gifts again, after 53 yrs of offertory because of what I have learned investigating (by chance, because of a priest’s own mistake and a ‘married‘ parishioner’s) How many other women over his 40 yrs priest ‘celibacy’ & how often getting moved on after grooming gullible Catholics – we all are – or were – trusting they were ‘good’ human beings. Christian ministers, pastoral care and Christ like commitment. I watch my bros & sisters in the pews and feel sorrow and pain at the fantastic psychological misuse and abuse RCC has rained down on us from a great height. A height that is not of God. Liars and cheats. This hurts. This is suffering. This is betrayal.
Good Friday beckons. Let us hope the resurrection will not be long. The Catholic Church must die and be born again. Can it? The prophets have spoken in the Scriptures.
Our Father who art in Heaven, sullied be Thy Name. Sullied by most of those who have and who continue to deceive Your people. Ordained into something the RCC name ‘the Priesthood’.
✝️🙏🙏🙏✝️ Deliver us from their evil, Lord. We plead, beg, pray for your intervention including Holy Spirit intervention against colluding male and female parishioners perpetrating acts of evil by intention and design but presenting as great actors, reeling in the trusting.
Take care Pat in Ireland. Maybe I’ll get to visit it one day. My people. Poverty, hunger, famine, – nothing changes for our people. It just looks a bit better. A bit different. Robert Byrne is only the tip of the iceberg here in RCDHN. I pray that all will be revealed – not only one Bishop’s crimes and sins in North East England.
Kind regards & prayers to you and yours, Pat.

Bishop Walsh is aged and ? ailing, however he wasn’t always so, from Father McCafferty’s letter, Walsh was given more than enough/ample opportunity to rectify the wrong done, when he was fit well, and powerful, which he refused to do using deceit, lies, and obfuscation, that in my opinion is unforgivable.
No matter how old, how frail, how sick, how sorry, sexual abusers and their complicit enablers are, they have to be held to account.
I suggest it’s Paddy McCafferty that is being crucified, he is not Jesus Christ, Jesus could ascended into heaven, whilst McCafferty has to live hell on earth, with Walsh hold a light to the flame.
If you can make Walsh’s life miserable do it Paddy, you are now the powerful one, if what has been stated regarding Walsh’s time at St. Malachys, its possible he is a sadist and, a psychopath, with scant regard for anyone.
As for the unfortunate Carmelite nun being tormented by that old rogue, surely that is elder abuse, being harassed by Walsh must make her life abject misery, and she is stuck there, no one should be placed in such a hopeless situation.
Keep up the pressure Paddy, no shame in what you are trying to achieve, to attain some peace, some on here need to walk in your shoes, only then will they understand your ongoing pain.
I suggest that you, Anonymous Mar 19, 2023 at 11:49 am you swallow your hubris, acknowledge your ignorance and, take a refresher course on ongoing damage inflicted on those sexually abused, it appears to me you have little or no insight on the effects of sexual abuse and rape, it is so bad for some abused that they throw in the towel and commit suicide.

What Paddy Mc was subjected to was horrendous and inexcusable and the only term that can be used when referring to +PW in this situation is a pedophile enabler. The old argument of it being a different time doesn’t wash, Paddy Mc was subjected to the greatest evil and at no time have people not viewed it as evil.
Naturally, he repressed, disengaged from his emotions, experienced thoughts of life not worth living and self-harmed, when a responsibile adult acted so irresponsibly and let him down so badly. Many victims of abuse are not believed but, +PW clearly went one step further than not believing him, he subjected him to further psychological abuse himself.
Paddy Mc’s story has always been painful to hear, sexual abuse is abhorrent in itself but, the poor man was subjected to nearly every form of abuse both by his abuser and by the diocese. The mention of 2022 being a time when his unresolved trauma resurfaced also brings contenxt to some of the angry and abusive comments Paddy Mc publicly made against women and LGBT+ people, and while he still needs to take personal responsibility for those comments himself and the harm they inflicted on vulnerable women and the LGBT+ community, it does shine enough light to enable genuine empathy for the man and his ongoing experience. What a horrible existence to constantly have to live with such deep seated pain, anger and self-hatred while, D&C attempt to get on with business as usual.
It doesn’t seem like much for him to request an apology from +PW, but such a simple act would be a huge ointment for any victim of abuse. It can’t undo what was done to the victim, both by the perpetrator and enabler and can’t give him back so much of his life but, it would be a justice that could at least help to give him back his future. The experience of many within the diocese is that +PW isn’t a monster, there is a much more gentle, kind and compassionate side to him, so we can only hope today’s article reaches him and that he does the right thing while he still has the chance. He can’t undo past wrongs but, he can do the right thing now.

” A victim of a former priest convicted of sexually abusing a young woman as he drove her to rape counselling has criticised the Catholic Church for allowing his offending to continue after she raised the alarm. Father Joseph Dunne, 81, who was sacked as a priest in Scotland, indecently assaulted the woman on a number of occasions after befriending her in hospital in Ireland, where he now lives. Now a Scottish woman who says she was assaulted when Dunne was a priest at St Paul’s church, Whiteinch, Glasgow, in the 1980s has spoken of her anger that, after reporting his behaviour to the Archdiocese of Glasgow, her concerns were dismissed, with Dunne instead being moved to another parish. He was only dismissed after further complaints about his conduct involving two girls. The woman, now in her 50s, said: “I am furious that he was moved on to assault more women.”

See the institution at work? It will spend tens of thousands helping priests as they jet off, club class, to the States for fast-track, private medical treatment, but it won’t do the same for kids it abused. And it isn’t even their money!

You are a begrudger. If the church did nothing for priests who had been abused you’d have been just as petulant. Over a long period of time it’s always about the money for you, despite protestations to the contrary. Your comments add up.
