OUR LADY OF THE FAIRIES πŸ§šβ€β™€οΈ

Robert Nugent recommended Seamus to me

You can see how Catholic gay men have come a long way, Seamus leads the LGBT ministry in Medjugorje, and he is an incredible witness to the faith.” (Robert).

PAT SAYS

I find the above videos embarrassing – and I’m not embarrassed for myself but for Seamus and his friends.

I’m even embarrassed for Our Lady!

I’m not for a moment saying that Seamus and his friends are not SINCERE. I’m sure they are. Although I find it hard to accept that Our Lady gives messages to Seamus, which he writes out on his tablet so that they can be proclaimed to the world.

But this simplistic, pious, and mincing approach to the serious faith and moral questions around homosexuality is truly embarrassing.

I understand that Seamus was actively gay and also had a drug addiction.

He still comes across as somewhat vulnerable and, I think, going down a cul de sac where he will not find real meaning.

I much prefer the approach of the German bishops who have stated that traditional RCC teaching in this area was and is wrong, and they will, from now onwards, bless gay unions.

Pat, why did Robert Nugent recommend Seamus to you? Can you give the context? As for Seamus and the other guys, I applaud them if they express their faith in their way and that they find confirm from their faith. We should affirm these men in their faith. Pat, unconsciously, you express homophones comments. These men don’t fit your definitions of any kind nor your expectations. I believe your readiness to judge them is very bigoted. I wouldn’t dare make a call on their depth or quality of spirituality or prayer. Despite the horrible moral judgments made about people like Seamus and the men in the videos by the Church, the last thing they want is a Gay Bishop pouring scorn on them simply because they “seem” embarrassing to you. Pat, I am confused at times about your moral iterations about others. I see nothing wrong with the views of these men. I would certainly affirm them on a journey of faith. Theirs may be a simple faith but, let them be themselves and let them walk their own journey with God and Our Blessed Lady. God does have a sense of humour. He won’t be chasing these men down but will embrace them with mercy, love and compassion. God bless Seamys and his friends. Compared to judgments that you and I grew up with re: sexuality, I delight in the joy and freedom these men are enjoying while feeling secure and confident to allow and have God in their lives.

It’s rude, I know, but I can’t suppress a wry smile when I hear someone say others have a β€˜simple faith’. It’s… It’s so condescending, really.

Is your faith complicated, 11.46. God isn’t, despite being very, very smart indeed. In fact, he’s the original and only know-all. But he is also very simple in his ways, innocent, too. Like the guys in those videos.

Like

12:25 Exactly. It’s actually a church speak phrase. ‘Simple faith’ doesn’t have a single word English translation, its meaning lying somewhere between ‘dupe’, ‘will believe anything’, ‘superstitious’, and, of course, ‘generous giver’.

I don’t know what to think of those guys, I was feeling tired and grumpy the dogs had me up at 05.30am, they cheered me up with their rendition of Our Lady of Knock, I did have a good laugh at the singing & the blog title today.
I have great difficulty in the messaging service Seamus and Robert Nugent claim to have, coming from on high, they are either lying, or there’s a screw loose somewhere with those two. Hopefully they’ll be seen for what they are, charlatans.
What did L. Ron Hubbard say again? Got it!
β€œYou don’t get rich writing science fiction. If you want to get rich, you start a religion.”
Maybe Seamus is thinking along those line too, a ministry for gays, that’s innovative, as there are many in the LGBTQ community, who want to practice their religion and have been excluded until recently, so Seamus sees a gap/need and jumps at it, fills the void, that’s a smart move if it takes off, i’s worth a try, he has the gift of the gab too.

God love them. And I’m sure he does, but unconditionally? Yes, and no.
God loves us all, but not all that we are and do.
Do these apparently sincere gay men believe that God endorses their sexual behaviour? Are they still sexually active?
If we sincerely wish to follow the Nazarene, there are things we must give up, or, at least, aspire to give up. There is a personal cost.
Many, like Roman Catholic priests, naively believe that, just by being priests, (or self-proclaimed Christians), they have been written into the Book of Life. They believe that they can do as they please, and it will make no difference to their eternal destiny, since they all have made a commitment to Christ. But it is more sentimentally self-indulgent than anything else. A stepping out on that broad road Jesus warned about. There will be very many priests in Hell, including popes, cardinals, and bishops. But they won’t be the only ones. Not all who cry ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven; only those who actually do the will of God.
There is a cost for discipleship of the Nazarene. That’s the spoilsport bit many would rather ignore. Not all joy is of God.

Pleasuredome gay sex sauna, Waterloo Bridge, London, England - confirmed sighting of an Irish resident Bishop.says:

” I was in the Pleasuredome, a London sauna under the railway arches in Waterloo and open 24 hours.
This was around 6 or 7 years ago.
It was very late, around 3 or 4 am.
I was in a cubicle sitting back, naked, with my ass sticking out. An invitation for a top to come and do his thing.
This older guy appeared, removed his towel and displayed a big hard xxxx
He tried to come in to f… me but I waved him away.
I was stunned because I recognised him as Bishop of Ossary, Seamus Freeman.
Archbishop Eamon Martin was the principal consecrator at Freeman’s installation in 2007
In 2016 the Irish Catholic newspaper reported concerns from some priests in the Diocese of Ossary about the costs Freeman was incurring for the diocese with an ambitious programme of building works.
Prior to the Irish 2015 Referendum permitting same sex marriage Bishop Seamus Freeman denied any intention to block or deny equality for gay people:
Bishop Seamus Freeman stated:
β€œTo vote β€œNo” is simply to remain true to the understanding of marriage as between one man and one woman”.
In 2016, the Irish Catholic Communications Office in Maynooth announced that Pope Francis had accepted the resignations of Bishop Seamus Freeman and his Galway counterpart, Bishop Martin Drennan on grounds of ill health.
Bishop Seamus Drennan is alleged to have suffered from dementia in his later years and died in 2022.

OMG, how embarrassing ! Not so much the fairy / queeny demeanour of these guys (why can’t they just butch up a bit and stop fancying around ?), but rather their touching so called fidelity to the RCC and Mary in particular. Do they not realise that they are not wanted by the RCC ? Read the words of the RCC Catechism, and other pronouncements, and it is clear that they are viewed as ‘intrinsically disordered’ and no matter how many twee words are said about being nice to the gays, they will never be properly and fully welcomed. They will forever be at the fringes, making fools of themselves pleading, please, to be let in and included…. Which is not going to happen. Yes, I see the irony that the RCC is led by a pack of gays, but they are vicious gays who do not want anybody to challenge them or out them, so they keep the real gays out. So, girls, go make up your own church, or join a church that will properly value and include you. You ain’t going to find that In Walshingham, or the RCC, or Mary…!

FYI at 9.10pm
Went to Medjudorje twice long ago. Didn’t think it was fake cos 1st visit was I got a job, 2nd visit was the presence of Satan that I felt as it was bloody freezing cold in December. Coldness or wind factor penetrated the inside of my fingers.
One thing is clear was, I don’t believe the visionaries as I was in apparition room with them , they have mansion houses and luxury cars such as BMW.
But the place itself is something else especially apparition hill at night. That was the only positive sign for medjudorje as the rest was false.
I met a woman who went there as she saw hell herself cos of her lifestyle.
Huge marian conversion I think but she wouldn’t tell me more of what changed her lifestyle. Her rosary turned into gold etc.

Is there something self-flagellating about people who remain in a situation that continues to undermine them, not value them, and harms them ? It is a strange psychological dependancy, I suspect. These guys on their gay Marian pilgrimages seem to be like that. Why ? Why hang on in there when all that is happening is that they are being constantly told that they are bad, sinful, unlovable and are not wanted ? I guess that I was a bit like that when I was a practising Roman Catholic, until I distanced myself and was able to see the wider perspective and to be able to be clearer in my thinking about what I valued and what was a pile of shiite. And much of what the RCC was telling me was the latter ! Aspects of it I continue to value and to hold on to, but it is I who decided rather than being told or spoon fed. That feels so much more responsible and adult, rather than being plaintiff and dependant. Maybe these Marian gays should try it sometime.
