Dear Ms Blaney,
On his public Facebook page, Father Paddy McCafferty – PP Corpus Christi Belfast has claimed that one of your male residents – a Patrick Walsh (93) is “intimidating, frightening and upsetting” one of your elderly female residents – a retired Carmelite nun!
According to Fr Mc Cafferty, this bullying behaviour is taking place in the nun’s private room.
Fr Mc Cafferty repeats this claim in a letter to Patrick Walsh quoted below and again published on Facebook.

Letter to Paddy Walsh last October, 2022, to which, yes, guess what? That’s right! Not a peep out of him in response!

You haven’t changed. Terrorising a very frail and saintly little Carmelite sister, just like you did teenage boys years ago, in St Malachy’s College. “
