There is a deacon from East Anglia Rev Mark Ashwood (38 from Belfast) who is due to be ordained this summer by Peter Collins.

This individual has a very chequered past, who was very close to the chancellor of the diocese Mgsr Eugene harkness who you wrote about on the blog.

Ashwood was reported to former Rector Roger Taylor after incidents in the student common room.

One Westminster deacon has been laicised after one episode (Adam Dora)

Quite recently, he was a good friend of one Rory Coyle who was based at the Servites in Fullam.

He is also connected to one Lorcan Keller who left maynooth after that summer of love in 2016 and now training with Westminster diocese.

It’s interesting to see our ROAREE turning up again!

He certainly gets around.

It’s good that there are seminarians who are concerned about things happening in their seminaries and are prepared to whistle blow.

GLASGOW PRIEST’S STATEMENT TO BLOG

Pat, the Funeral Director and lay Daisy Chain member, Des Maguire, appeared in court today for verdict and sentencing on 3 charges of assault on his spouse and children.

Charge 1: Not Guilty on charge of alarming his children;

Charge 2: Not proven on charge of assaulting his oldest daughter;

Charge 3: Guilty of assaulting his wife.

Sentence: Fined and all conditions lifted.​

Sheriff took into account his business interests and character references from Daisy Chain Clergy.​

His wife and children are devastated and his wife is planning on divorcing him.

STATEMENT OF GLASGOW PARISHIONER

This has to be a classic for elevation to women’s groups for both the clergy involvement and leniency of sentence.
I’m hearing his children are very very badly traumatised by all this and it’s making a mockery of Scottish government supposed clampdown on domestic violence.

This is a very embarrassing outcome for Desmond Maguire, his close friend, “Mr” Keenan, and his many priest friends.

How embarrassing, especially for those stupid Glasgow clerics who rushed to give him references for court.
